“Ahem.”

Krystal raised her head, surprised to see a sudden look of displeasure colored all over Kai's face. Then she frowned as he shoved the screen of his Samsung Galaxy towards her, a picture of her wearing an extremely tight and revealing piece of clothing during one of f(x)'s live performances. Krystal peered up at Kai. “I don't get it,” she said. “Is there something wrong?”

“Yes,” Kai said as his face darkened. “You're showing skin. A lot of skin.”

“So?”

“Is it really necessary?” he asked. His voice sounded apprehensive, worried – borderline parental, even. But Krystal didn't really pick up on it.

“Probably not, but it isn't like I have a choice,” she said dismissively. It was true that she didn't have much say in what she could wear onstage, but Krystal was beyond caring since it's been like that ever since f(x) debuted. She never made a fuss about anything she had to wear and she certainly wasn't going to start now.

Kai, however, shared very different sentiments.

“I don't like it,” he declared, his lower lip puckering up slightly as it did whenever he came across something that displeased him.

Krystal laughed incredulously. “Why?”

“Because!” Kai paused for a beat, trying to find a legitimate reason that wouldn't make him look stupid. “... I just don't,” he said eventually. Obviously, the boy couldn't find one.

Narrowing her eyes, Krystal appeared defiant. “Don't tell me it's one of those overly-possessive boyfriend things.”

“So what if it is?”

“Then you wouldn't have any right to feel that way.”

Kai widened his eyes; he looked utterly offended. “Says who?”

“Says logic,” Krystal persisted, her tone and air absolutely superior. “Have you ever thought to consider how I feel whenever you show skin?” Even though she knew that what they were discussing was totally pointless and irrelevant, she didn't want Kai to develop a habit out of making his childish insecurities bigger than what they really were. She just wouldn't have it.

Suddenly feeling very sheepish, Kai stuffed his phone back in his pocket and mumbled, “You know it isn't deliberate.”

“See? That's exactly how it is for me – ”

“But it's different!” the boy insisted.

Krystal shot daggers at him. “It is not! And even if it were, the only minor discrepancy would be your greasy smirks.”

Kai deadpanned, his face suddenly darkening again. “I resent that comment. My smirks are not greasy.”

“If they're not greasy, then what are they?” she questioned. A part of Krystal wondered whether or not Kai was actually being serious or if he started this whole argument just to get under her skin. Whichever the case, she still thought he was being an .

“Sensual and tastefully provocative,” he answered confidently.

A total , indeed.

“You idiot, there isn't anything tasteful about them,” Krystal snapped, pushing down the sudden urge to smack him across the face.

“Says who?”

“Says logic.”

“You know, I don't like this Logic guy. He's making you believe things that are totally untrue.”

Krystal groaned, looking visibly frustrated. “Kai!”

“Krystal.” He responded with a smug grin.

“You – you're too much sometimes!” she said as her face twisted into a look of utter disdain. Outwardly she might have looked pissed, but inside she knew she still loved him. Greasy smirks and smug grins and all.

Knowing these things, Kai leaned over to peck her lips before shooting her a cheeky smile.

“As if you would have me any other way.”

author's note: I don't even know how this thing materialized into existence. Well. Actually. I guess I do LOL. But the original idea was somewhat different. My cousin and I were talking about Kai's Migo underwear I swear I am not a byuntae and we were playing around with the idea about how Krystal would react to it since for some reason, Kai tends to flash his undies a lot. I might write something about that someday. Especially since my cousin wants me to xD
