Chapter 2- Erine's mafia circle w/out Kyungri

The older one smashed her empty glass on the counter, using the back of her free hand to swipe . She turned around to the younger one next to her.

“Aaaaah-HA! Beat that kid, beat THAT.”

Kyungri frowned at her, growling something. She had once again entered into a contest against Euaerin who had pursued her over some non-sensical bet.

“Yah, shouldn’t we stop them?” whispered Sunga, worried about both girls.

“Sunga, you’re a thousand years too late to say that,” nudged Hyuna while taking another gulp of her wine.

She continued watching silently while the maknaes were jumping excitedly, boosting Erine’s confidence to drink more. The older one smirked and pointed her index somewhere behind Kyungri.

“Gang-girl, I- I PERSONALLY- will crown you the drinker of the group, if-“ a hiccup cut her and her face fell down on the table.

Kyungri watched intensely the dead figure while Hyemi poked her ribs. She suddenly jolted up and inhaled a giant bubble of air, this time pointing at Hyuna in her velvet chair way behind her actual target.

“Unnie, you’re pointing at the wrong side, go left,” whispered Minha. “No, that’s right, a little bit, no, y-OK stop.”

“-after you drink two bottles, you can dance that dolls remix with Sunga without falling ONCE.”

Obviously, Euaerin had said that entire sentence while slurring and half of her words were hardly comprehensible, but for the reader’s comfort, it was re-arranged.

Sunga jumped a little bit when she heard her name, and again when a sudden pound on the table just after it was said. That was the sound of Kyungri accepting the bet. Another one of those mindless drunk bets.

She shouted with her tone changing mid-sentence, and blinked a few times to adjust her eyes. She saw Hyuna sitting by a Christmas tree, and nobody else.
