Chapter 11 – The epitome of awkwardness makes us go back to square one

After what felt like an eternity, Hyuna spoke.

“Come… let’s go downstairs and act like nothing happened. The others might get suspicious.”

“Fine… I’ll go first, join us when you can breathe regularly,” she patted her back with a grin.

Hyuna sighed to herself, massaging her temple. Kyungri had already run off. Both had no idea that a duo was consoling a short one in the adjacent room.

“Hey, hey, Kyung-unnie~” Hyemi changes her tone to a sweet one while Kyungri glares at the ones sitting on the couch. “Come here, have a seat.”

As soon as Kyungri sandwiches herself between the maknae line, she receives special treatment as they hug her, arrange her hair, compliment her makeup of the day.

She crosses her arms and gives them individual glares, “What do you four want?”

They all let a nervous laugh and Hyemi speaks up, “Ehehe, have you seen Hyuna, because we need updates on the-”

Before they can share some juicy info, Hyuna barges in the room.

“-skiing, I mean.”

Kyungri is confused at first. “What??”

Hyuna doesn’t seems to notice since the first thing she does is jump on their laps, having a couch of thighs to lay on with her arms behind her head. Eunji drums on the lower part of her legs and Sunga pokes Hyuna’s hair.

“Did I hear ski? We should totally do that these days, and why don’t we build a snowman too? And the marshmallows! And- Oh! Do you guys even have the equipment before even planning?

The three in the middle look at each other and one exclaims “Uhhh… we’ll do that now.”

Hyuna hums to herself and notices nobody is moving. “Faster than that, younglings.”
