To confess, or not?

“Confess”

“..or not confess”

“Confess”

“..or not.. aishh..”

I mumbled to myself while counting with my ten fingers while lying on my bed. The sudden bold action which I did to Jessica before she left after sending me home this late afternoon still lingered on my mind. I couldn't control myself to hug her because I felt relief. Relief that the ‘someone special’ who sent me to home was her little sister. Does it means, she’s still single? Aishh.. I don’t know. I planned to find out about it by making a confession. I want to confess to her that I like her. If I could, I want to say that I love her, but isn’t that too soon? I was afraid, you know, afraid that if I don’t do this soon, someone else might take her away from me. She’s gorgeous, brilliant, sophisticated, and, not to say, a pair of her gorgeous eyes has made me fell in love with her. I can't take this anymore. I want her. But, what should I do?

“RING! RING! RING!”

“Yoboseyo?”, the voice answered my call after five ringings.

“Bunny, sorry to disturb you at this late of night”, I apologize to her.

“Nah, it’s okay. I’m still awake. Hyomin still not coming home yet. Is there anything important?”, she replied.

Hyomin is Sunny’s fiancee. They met each other through work. Hyomin is the owner of the garment factory which happened to be one of our suppliers, and the constant meeting with each other through work eventually causing them to fall in love with each other. And, Hyomin made her first move by confessing to Sunny that she fell in love with her after we had our final meeting at our office six months ago. Like what Sunny has told me, Hyomin didn’t want to lose her, and, without wasting her time, she made an instant decision to propose Sunny on their first date. That was so romantic, wasn’t it? So, right after they got engaged, Hyomin asked Sunny to move in with her at her penthouse. They practically living together for about five months.

“Ermm.. not so important actually. I just want to ask your opinion”, I said.

“My opinion? About what?”, she asked. Aishh.. should I tell her? She will make fun of me later.

“Ermm.. promise me you’re not going to tell anyone about it, okay?”, I replied.

“Just tell me, shikshin what is it that you want to ask”, I giggled as I could sense her annoyed tone.

“Arasso. Well, actually, it’s about to confess my feelings to someone..”, I trailed off.

“Mworago?”, she said in surprise. Aishh.. this girl. Is she deaf?

“I said, I want to confess my feelings to someone I like..”, I was about to continue my words when she cut me off.

“I think I know who. That Jessica Jung girl, right?”, she replied, causing me to gasp.

“H-how d-did you know?”, I asked as I stuttered.

“Tchh.. like I have known you only yesterday. Your actions are so easily to be read, Soo”, she replied with a chuckle. Yeah, I forgot that she graduated majoring in psychology before she took another major in business study. My brilliant PA. That’s why I hired her.

“Aishh.. okay. Since you already know it, so, what is your opinion?”, I asked her.

“Just confess to her already, Soo”, she replied.

“But, don’t you think it’s too fast? I mean, will she be surprised later?”, I said as I felt doubted with her suggestion.

“Yah, you pabo! Why are you calling me to ask about my opinion at first if you’re not listen to me, huh? If you don’t want to lose her, just confess to her already, like what Hyomin did to me before. The more you hold it, there will be a slim chance for you to get her. You know what? I have heard from other staff that our male staffs keep on asking her out. They wanted to flirt with her, you know”, Sunny’s info just now has made me scared like hell. That’s it. A final decision has been made at this instant, all thanks to Sunny’s info.

“Okay, okay! I will confess to her on tomorrow. Thanks for your opinion, Bunny. I’ll see you on tomorrow. Send my regards to Hyomin, okay?”, I said.

“No problem, boss. And, hwaiting for your confession!”, she replied, causing me to chuckle.

“Hahahaha.. thanks! Good night, bunny!”, I said as I ended the conversation.

“Good night, Soo!”, she replied as the call ended. I put my phone back on the nightstand, and laid my head on the pillow, with one arm on my forehead.

“Choi Sooyoung, dared yourself to take this challenge. Show to her that you’re want to be serious with her. You can do it!”, I said to myself as I pumped my fist. Yes, I determined to make my confession to her on tomorrow. After setting the phone’s alarm, I closed my eyes, and slowly drifted off.

“Good morning, Sooyoung!”

“Errr.. y-yeah good morning, heheh!”

“Are you okay? You look pale..”

“Jinja? Err.. I’m.. I’m okay. Y-yeah.. I’m okay..”

Darn! Why the heck I’m so nervous this morning when I see her? How am I going to confess my feelings later? Will I get fainted? Or, there will be no words come out from my mouth? Aishh..

“You don’t have to do this, Soo. My baby sister can send me to work”, she said as I opened the car’s door for her. Yeah, I called her this morning, offered her to go to work together since we’re living nearby. At first, she hesitated as she didn’t want to burden me, but I insisted. I may sounded like forcing her to go to work with me, but I really wanted to do so. I wanted to start my move by doing this kind of little gesture to her. Yes, I wanted her to notice of my doings. I wanted to melt her with my gentleness.

“Aishh.. it’s nothing, Sica. Besides, we live near each other. So, why don’t I give you a lift to work and send you home since we’re working at the same place, right?”, I replied. I bite my lips, anticipating of what her reaction will be. Her lips slowly formed a smile, and she nodded her head meekly. She then getting inside the car, and thanked me. I quickly ran to the driver’s side, and slide myself inside the car.

“But, don’t complain to me if you will getting bored fetching or sending me home later, arasso?”, she said, causing me to gasp. She.. Jessica Jung.. did she just agreed to my suggestion? Suddenly my mind drifted away.

“Soo… Sooyoung?”, her sudden touch on my arm causing me to jump from my seat. I heard she giggled, and I felt a sudden heat on my face.

“Y-yes?”, w-wait.. why the hell did I stuttered?

“Are you okay, Sooyoung?”, she asked with a concern look. Damn! Her angelic voice is like a music to my ears. I wouldn’t mind if she nags me every day with that kind of voice. That if she accepted me after I made my confession later.

“Y-yeah. I’m okay. Shall we go now?”, I said as I tried to act cool.

“Sure, Sooyoungie”, she said with a giggle. Soo.. what? Sooyoungie? Oh. My. God! Did I hear that right? I quickly pressed the engine start button, but the car’s engine didn’t start at all. Did I pressed the right button? Aishh.. Choi Sooyoung.. what happened to you?

“Soo, the button is right there”, she said as her index finger pointed at where the engine start button is. I smiled sheepishly, and quickly pressed the button to start the car’s engine. I could hear Jessica giggled, maybe she felt amused with my stupid clumsiness.

“Alright, kaja!”, I said, and started to drive the car, heading to our workplace.

“Ahem!”, Sunny cleared soon after she saw me and Jessica walking together towards the elevator. She also just arrived, and came out of the parking space. She drove her own car to work since Hyomin’s workplace is quite far from their home. Besides, their working time are not the same, so, she accustomed to live independently.

“Hey, annyeong, Bunny!”, I greeted her cheerfully as usual.

“Annyeong, boss! Annyeong, Sica!”, she greeted back. I pressed the elevator’s button, and let both of them to enter first.

“Our boss is such a gentlewoman, huh?”, Sunny whispered to Jessica soon after I entered inside. I could see Jessica nodded her head in agreement while glancing at me with a smile.

“Yah, yah! Are you talking behind me, huh?”, I playfully snapped at Sunny. She chuckled, and stuck her tongue out at me. Aishh.. this danshin!

The ambience inside the elevator was a bit alive since the three of us kept on chatting about work, and our company’s upcoming production for the autumn. Thank God Sunny was here. Otherwise, I would feel more awkward. We kept chatting until we didn’t’ realize the elevator already stopped at our office level.

“DING!”

“After you, ladies!”, I said while pressing the open button to let the girls walked out of the elevator first.

“Aren’t you a lady too?”, Sunny said teasingly, causing Jessica to giggle on her words.

“Yah! I’m just being polite here. Get out now before I kick your !”, I shouted. Sunny laughed at me while pulling Jessica’s arm, and walking out of the elevator.

“Mind her, Sica. Maybe she is in PMSing”, Sunny whispered into Jessica’s ear, but loud enough for me to hear. I was about to chase her when she quickly dragging Jessica to walk faster towards the office door, leaving me dumbfounded.

“Yah! Aishh.. this danshin! I’m so gonna get you later!”, I grumbled while walking towards the door.

“So, I think we can proceed with the design that our team has proposed earlier. And, congratulations, Jessica ssi for your hard work”, I said while glancing at Jessica. I could see she was glancing back at me while smiling. Gosh, her smile! I quickly snapped out of the daze, and got up from my seat.

“Alright, I hope we can come out with the idea for the production and launching of our new products, and we can discuss about it again on the next meeting. So, I think that’s the wrap up for today”, I said as I gathered my belongings, and slowly leaving the meeting room. I suddenly stopped walking, and turned my heels while looking at Jessica.

“Oh, Jessica ssi. Can I see you after this? I need to discuss on something”, I said to her. She looked surprised, but immediately nodded her head meekly. Sunny quickly turned to look at me. She smirked and winked at me while mouthing 'good luck' before she left the meeting room. I gave a thumb up at her and smiled.

“Dae, Sooyoung ssi”, she replied as she quickly tidy up her files and closed her laptop lid. After all the meeting team gradually leaving the meeting room, I walked towards her, and took her files from the desk.

“S-Sooyoung ssi, what are you doing?”, she panickly said while trying to take back the files from my hold. I quickly dodge her hand, and tighten the grip on the files.

“Err, helping you?”, I said nonchalantly. She frowned, and continued her attempt to get the files, but failed to do so.  

“You don’t have to do that. I can carry those files by myself”, she replied.

“Sica, it’s okay. Just get your laptop now, so that we can leave the meeting room”, I said with a smile, and started to walk towards the door, and waiting for her. She sighed in defeat, and took her laptop. I started to walk out of the meeting room with her following me from behind.

I put her files on the coffee table soon after I entered my office room, and asked her to take a seat at the couch. She just followed suit, and immediately sat on the couch after she put her laptop aside. I took my seat next to her, causing her stunned while looking at me, blinking her eyes rapidly.

“S-Sooyoung, is everything okay?”, she asked nervously. I smiled, and was about to grab her hand as to make my confession when suddenly…

“Hi, babyyyy!”

“Omo!”

Hello everyone! I would like to apologize for my long hiatus. As I have explained to you guys many times, my busy life sometimes doesn't allowed me to update the fic often. But, for you, my lovely readers, I will try my very best to update.

Yeah, I know what was happened with Soshi girls, especially Jessica's departure from GG. And, if you asked me whether to continue, or to abandon this fic, my answer would be.. no. Because, whatever happened to them, we as Sone should never give up, and continue to support them, especially for TTS Holler comeback, which their promo has just ended on last week. Whether OT9 or 8, our love for them undivided, and never ended.
