It was drizzly  that day and everyone ran into the car to go to their 'Growl' promotions.  Chanyeol had been quiet through breakfast, whereas Sehun was in an extremely good mood and blabbered to no end.  You were sure Chanyeol was upset at you, even though you weren't quite sure why.  

You scrambled in next to him into the backseat in hopes of  making him feel better. All throughout the ride, he looked out the window wthi his earphones plugged in his ears and paid no attention to you hopelessly gazing into his face.  After trying to get his attention by poking his cheek, making funny faces, and tickling his knee, you gave up and plopped your head on his shoulder to nap.  You liked to sleep on Chanyeols shoulder the best-he was the perfect height. 

Chanyeol looked over at your tiny figure and couldn't help smiling just a little.  You were so adorable, trying to catch his attention.  Just like a kitten. He chuckled at how such a simple movement from you could appease his anger. He whistled towards Kris and pointed at you.  Kris pulled out the blanket from under a sleeping Kai (who mumbled some more incoherent phrases) and threw it at Chanyeol.  Tucking you in, he unplugged one earphone from his ear and stuck it in yours before resting his head on top of your head.  His hand slipped into your hand from under the blanket.  

The last lyrics he remembered hearing before he dozed off with you was:
