The next morning, all I felt was pain, my head throbbed and my arms felt sore. I felt my stomach throb in pain as well and I didn’t know why. I felt hot and cold at the same time. My forehead was hot but my feet were cold. I looked at my clock and it was already breakfast time. Min Ra left me a note that was placed on the bedside table.

“Min Ri, I think you have fever. I’ll be the one to tell Mr. Choi that you won’t be able to attend because you’re sick. Eat and rest, okay?” her note was heart warming

I slowly sat up and took the pills that were placed next to the note that my roommate left me. As I took the pill, my phone vibrated.

“Hey, babe! Good morning! J:) How are you feeling? Call me, okay?” Minho texted me

“Good morning, babe! I feel sick today :((” I text back and stand

I walk towards the window and great! It was sunny. I don’t know what happened to me, last night I was doing fine and now, I feel like am going to die because of my fever. I ran my fingers through my hair and then there was a knock on my door. I lazily went over to open the door. My eyes widened to what I saw.

“Hey” Kyuhyun smiles at me

I pop my head out of the door and look around before pulling him inside my room, “What are you doing here?” I ask

He holds up a paper bag, “Food?” he offers

“Kyu, my head is throbbing I really can’t entertain you right now” I sit on my bed and look up at him

“I’m going to take care of you today” he says and he places the paper bag on the bedside table

“How did you know I was sick?” I ask and rest my back against the head board

He sits and starts taking out the packed food, “Your roommate, Min Ra told Siwon and Siwon told me” he said and a spoon was in front of me, I open my mouth and chew.

“Oh” I say, “Won’t they think it’s weird that you’re going to take care of me?”

“No. I didn’t tell them anyway” he smiled  He uses the back of his hand to feel my temperature, “You feel dizzy?” he asks

I nod, “Plus, my legs hurt and my stomach feels weird” I say and touch my stomach

He gives me a spoonful of ramen soup and I gladly open my mouth and swallow. He smiles at me and tucks my hair behind my ear. I smile and touch his hand. His strong cologne lingered through my nostrils. I breathe in his scent and close my eyes.

“You need to take pills” he says

“I already have” I say

“Then, sponge bath maybe?”

“I don’t like sponge baths, it makes me feel greasy and icky. I’ll have a hot bath” I say

“You’re going to get more sick than you already are” he says and places the bowl of food on the table

“No I’m not. I’ve been doing that since I was four” I defend

“Min Ri, please, for my soul’s peace, take a sponge bath” he says

“No way” I say

His nose flares up and runs his fingers through his hair, “Fine. I’ll run the water for you”

He stands and walks towards the bathroom. He opens the shower and balances the hot and the cold water for me. With his sleeves up, I see the veins that were greatly evident on his arm and hands. He look back at me and then he smiles.

“Warm water. Five minutes, okay?” he says and walks out the door, locking it behind him

I take off my clothes and step inside the shower. I rub on cherry scented body wash and cinnamon flavored shampoo. I wash my face, brush my teeth, comb my hair and dry it using a blow dryer. I step out and see Kyuhyu on my bed, typing.

He looks up and moves to the side, giving me space, “Lay down. Get some rest” he says

I smile and do what I was told, “What are you doing?” I ask, placing a pillow between my legs

“Doing research for you” he says

“Why?”

“The batch will go to the park then they will go to the National Government of Japan to the Executive Branch then, they will see a documentation about the past Prime Ministers” he says

“Wow, that sounds hard” I say

He looks down at me with a smile, “You can do it” he whispers

He places his laptop on the desk and lies down beside me. His arms wrap around me and I cuddle against his chest. I feel his cold skin against mine. He looks down at me and I look up at him.

“What’s your family like?” I ask

He raises a brow, “Why do you ask?”

“I’m curious” I say

“My parents came from a rich clan. They met during their high school days and got married after college. After three years, they were finally ready for kids, but unfortunately, they couldn’t” he says weakly, “Then, they decided to adopt” he smiles

“All fifteen of you?” I ask

“How did you know?”

“Henry, your youngest brother, he’s the boyfriend of my friend” I say

“Oh . . . Kimberly, right?” he asks and I nod

“Well, yes. All fifteen of us and somehow, we connected. Different nationalities, personalities and ages, we still managed to love one another on matter what”

“Is it . . . rowdy?” I ask

He chuckles, “Rowdy doesn’t begin to cover it”

“Wow . . . Kyu, if you don’t mind me asking, do you know what happened to your biological parents?” I ask

He heaves another sigh, “Min Ri, take some rest, okay? You need it” he says and pulls my closer to his chest. I wanted to protest because I want to know more about him, but I let it go. I know Kyuhyun isn’t ready for something like this. An intimate conversation. I snuggle against his chest and rest.

I wake up an hour or so later and my head starts throbbing again. I close my eyes I pain and bite my lip to restrain myself from letting out a scream.

“!” I hiss to myself

Kyuhyun wakes up and looks at me, “You okay?” he asks

“No . . . God . . . it hurts” I whisper

He produces a pill from his pocket and he gives it to me. I swallow and gulp a glass of water. I close my eyes and made me sit up. He moves behind me and places my leg over his. He made me lean against his chest, my head resting on his collar bone. He starts rubbing my temple and ad then my neck.

“Better?” He asks

“Much” I whisper

I smile and get more comfortable against his body. His touch made me feel like I’m in heaven. This moment was something I am to cherish and never forget. I know this will end soon but I don’t care. I will cherish this moment.

"Min Ri, you feel so warm" he whispers

"I'm sick" I say

"That's not what I meant . . ."

"Then, what do you mean?" I ask

"I mean, you feel so warm and comforting" he says

"You're so weird" I joke

He kisses my temple and cotinues to rub my neck then my shoulders. With every move he made, I felt lighting hit me and thousands worth of electricity flowed in my veins. His breath was against my neck and lips found my hair, he kisses my hair.

"Do they know about . . . me?" I ask

"My brothers? Yes, they know about you" he answers, reaching for my hand he starts rubbing my fingers and then he rubs my palm.

"And they're okay with that?" I ask 

He sighs, "You ask too many questions. Rest" he commands 

I do as I'm told and I don't plan to protest anymore. I rest back and get comfortable in Kyuhyun's arms. I close my eyes and sleep.
