The flight home was nothing but nervousness. I couldn't help but bite on my nails or bite my lips in order to keep me calm. There was no turning back now. I wish I really could but unfortunately, I can't.

"Min Ri!!" Min Hee ran towards me with a big hug 

"Hi!" I hugged her back 

"How are you? Your hair got longer!" she touched the ends of my hair 

"Did it? I didn't notice" I smiled at her

"Hey, Min Ri!" Onew took me in his arms and welcomed me with a big hug

"Hello!" I hugged him back

"Wow! You're even more beautiful now!" Taemin noticed 

I smiled back, "Is that so?" 

He nodded 

"Minho!!!!" the boys greeted him and attacked him with a group hug

"Hey, guys!" he greeted back 

I smiled at their really cute reunion 

Min Hee turned to me, "Hey . . . "

I looked at her, "What?"

"We have to talk . . . like right now" she spoke 

I in a breath and looked at the boys then back at her, "Okay" 

Min Hee and I decided to leave ahead of the guys and we decided to get coffee and catch up on things that we've missed for the past five and a half months that we were away from each other. Seoul was colder than I remembered it would be during December. Min Hee was different now. Longer hair, glowing skin, bangs and a more joyful smile. Taemin and Onew were leaner and taller. They all looked so different and better. I suddenly thought about Kyuhyun. Is he better? More handsome than the last time I saw him? 

"Min Ri . . . ?" Min Hee called my attention 

I looked up at her, "Yes?"

"You still have time . . ." she spoke 

I raised a brow, "What?" 

"You still have time to stop the wedding . . ." she said 

I shook my head, "I don't think I can . . . "

"Yes. You. Can." 

I looked at her, "How did you know that he was getting married?" I asked, wondering how she got that very, very personal information

She shrugged, "Donghae accidentally . . . mentioned it to me" 

I was taken aback, "Oh . . . "

She sighed, "You have two months to stop the wedding. I suggest you start today" she said 

"No"

"What?!"

"I don't want to . . . I don't want to ruin a relationship because of my selfishness"I spoke and what I said was true . . . I didn't want to act selfish again 

She shook her head, "You know what he asked me after he read the letter you gave him?" she asked 

"What?"

"He asked where you were going, where your were going to stay and who you're with . . . he filed a resignation letter to follow you wherever you were . . . but then, the tramp asked him to stay and continue his job . . . " she said

"Tramp?" I raised a brow 

"That Hee Young . . . she's a total slug! Have I mentioned to you, she brings Kyuhyun lunch? God!" she spoke in irritation

Okay. She brings him lunch, "What else?"

"She's always in school and waiting for Kyuhyun to finish his classes, she's always around him and feeding him the packed lunch she brought him, she---" "Okay . . . I get it . . ." I cut her off

"So . . . are you just going to let Kyuhyun go like that?" she crossed her arms over her chest

"I'm tired . . . let's go home" I spoke and stood up

"Ms. Lee! It's nice to see you again!!!!" my driver greeted me with a big hug

"Hey!!!! Oh my God!! I missed you!!" I hugged him back

"How was Washington, Ms.Lee?" he asked, taking my luggage in his hands

"Great!! Something to always look forward to" I smiled

"Min Ri!!!!" My mom walked towards me

"Omma!!!" I ran towards her

She hugged me, "I missed you so much!!!" she spoke

I smiled, "Same here, mom"

"Your father is waiting for you in the living room" she said

"Okay" So, we headed to the living room and I found my father, sitting on the black leather couch and he smiled at me 

"Darling!" my father stood up and hugged me 

"Appa!" I hugged him

"I missed you so much!" he spoke

I smiled and a tear left my eye, "I missed you too" I sniffed

My mom smiled and touched my hair, "You looks so beautiful, honey" my mom noticed my transformation

"Thanks. Catherine did this" I smiled

"Your American friend?" my dad asked

"Yes"

"Well, she's really good with the make-over" my mom smiled

My parents and I did a lot of catching up with each other. They talked about what happened when I was gone and I talked about what happened to me when I was away. My parents surprisingly bought a dog. My dad said he was getting bored with work so, he decided to have someone to play with. My mom, on the other hand, took cooking lessons while she had a little convention located in Italy. My mom, doesn't cook and it was a big thing for me to see her hold a pan. I was really happy for them. Everyone around me had something new to show me. They had something new in their lives and they looked so happy with it.

"Honey, I think you should take a rest. You had a really, really long flight" my mom spoke

I nodded, "We'll talk more later, okay?" I smiled at went up to my room

I was about to open it when a though stopped me. Would Kyuhyun be here, standing, inside my room and then he would look up and smile at me? Would he be here to welcome me in his arms and kiss me? Would he be here to tell me that he doesn't love Hee Young and he'd tell me he wants to marry me? Would he be here to listen to all my stories, goo or bad, when I spent five and a half months in Washington? Would he be here to tell me he missed me?

I in a breath and opened my door. I was dismayed. There was no one there. The smell of my room was the same but the sheets were changed and my study table was fixed, even my room looked better while I was away. I placed my bag on my bed and took out my phone, checking if anyone left me a message.

"Shall we celebrate your return? Min Hee sent me a text

"Sure!"

"Drinks on me . . . Seven at StarBar?"

"Sure! I missed that!" I sent the text to her

I took my charger out of the my bag and plugged in my phone. I glanced at my clock and I only have less than two hours to prepare for the thing tonight. I took my luggage and opened it, taking out a nice pair of dark blue jeans and a black v-neck shirt and my favorite pair of Converse. I entered my bathroom and it looked almost the same except for the smell of vanilla mixed with chocolate. I smiled at the new scent that lingered through my nose. I took off my clothes and jumped in the shower. I washed myself with warm water and shampooed my hair with my favorite pink rose scented shampoo and cleaned my body with caramel flavoured shower gel. I rinsed myself and then I went to the sink. I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked good. Less dark circles in my eyes, longer hair, glowing face? I think. I smiled at myself and washed my face, brushed my teeth and hair. I wore my underwear and then my clothes. I stepped out of the bathroom and again, I was dismayed to not see Kyuhyun sitting on my bed. I shook off the idea and placed my towel on my bed. I laid on my bed, hoping I could sleep it off and thankfully, I did but it wasn't as comfortable than the usual.  

""Min Ri?" someone knocked on my door

My eyes opened and I glaced at my bedside clock to see that it was already eight in the evening. I stood up and opened it, "Min Hee" I smiled

"Ready?" she asked

I nodded, "Yeah, give me a moment" I took my bag and my fully charged phone and took my brush and brushed  my hair. I went back to the door and smiled at Min Hee, "Let's go" 

We headed to the car that was driven by Taemin, "Hello, ladies" he greeted as we rode the car 

"Nice ride" I complimented 

"Thanks. Worked hard for it" Taemin started driving off 

"Yeah right" Min Hee snorted, "You asked your father to buys this car" she spoke 

"I worked hard asking him to buy me this car" Taemin reasoned out 

I laughed, "Where's Minho, Onew, Jonghyun and Key?" I looked for the boys

"Key's in Taiwan right now and Onew, Minho and Jonghyun are already at StarBar" Taemin spoke

I nodded, "What's Key doing in Taiwan?" I asked

Min Hee looked at Taemin, "He's . . . taking a vacation"

"Oh . . ."

We arrived at StarBar and the place was packed with people. Taemin, Min Hee and I took a seat by the bar and ordered five bottles of Soju. We started drinking and then Minho and Jonghyun saw us and they approached us. I gave a bottle of Soju to Minho and he gladly took it and chugged it down.

"One more?" I asked over the loud music

"Sure" he spoke

I ordered three more and we clinked our bottles, "Cheers to coming home!!" I shouted

"Cheers!!!" they said in unison and we chugged down our drinks

I felt the need to pee after four bottles of Soju, "I'll be right back, okay?" I told Min Hee

"Where are you going?" she asked, shouting

"Bathroom. Nature calls" I smiled and she nodded

I walked towards the bathroom and I took a vacant cubicle and I did my business. After I was done, I washed my hands and retouched my lips with lip clour. I brushed my hair and fixed my jeans. I walked out and as I was walking back, I bumped into someone.

I bowed immediately, "Mianhae" I looked up

He was smiling down at me, "Hello"

My eyes widened at the figure I was staring at right now, “” I whispered

He raised a brow, “Ms. Lee, language please” he smirked

“What are you doing here?” I asked

He smiled, “I should be asking you the same thing . . .” he pulled my wrist towards the back door of the bar and we went outside. It was really ,really cold but he made everything hotter. His hair was shorter and he got thinner, not lean, but thin. He looked like he wasn’t eating at all. His jaw was more visible and his eye bore anger and confusion all at the same time.

“Kyu . . .” I whispered

“Shut up” he ordered

He pushed me against the wall and his lips made contact with mine. He was harsh and I’ve never seen him like this before. It was painful yet, satisfying. He harshly bit my lip and I immediately opened. His tongue every corner of my mouth and on my tongue. My arms s around his neck and my legs wrapped around his waist. My fingers pulled on his hair and his kissed went down to my neck, roughly biting on my flesh.

“You don’t know how much I missed you” he whispered by my ear and he the shell

I bit my lower lip, “Kyuhyun . . . “

His fingers un-tucked my shirt and his hand found my soft flesh. He trailed it up the cups of my bra and he touched my s. I closed my eyes with pleasure I was feeling. He kissed me again and trailed his kisses down my collar bone, on them and biting from time to time.

“Stop . . . “ I whispered weakly

“You left me . . . “ he kissed my neck

“Please . . . stop . . . “I was now begging, “You’re getting married” I spoke

He pulled away from kissing my neck, “How did you know?”

He unwrapped my legs from his waist and he put my down, “I . . . I have to go” I spoke

He chuckled, “Go. That’s what you’re good at. Running away” he spoke

“Kyu . . .”

“Why did you go?” he looked angry

I in a breath, “For my peace of mind”

“Your peace of mind? Did you ever think about how I would react?!” he asked

“I’m sorry . . .”

He  shook his head, “Sorry?”

“Please . . . Kyuhyun . . . She was about to ruin my life. Think of the things she could’ve done to me if I stayed . . .” I spoke

“I could’ve protected you”

“What if there were days that you weren’t around to save and protect me? How would that work huh?” I swallowed

He took my face in his hands, connecting our foreheads, “Don’t leave me again . . . please”

My heart stopped at his plea . . .    

"Kyu . . . "

"Promise me . . . "
