Minho comes back with a tray in his hands. I rest my back against the head board of his bed and he places the tray on my lap. He sits in front of me. 

"Eat up" he said 

"What were you doing there last night?" 

"My friend had a party. I saw you come and then . . . I watched you" 

"That's really creepy" 

"I know . . . but if I hadn't . . . maybe you'd be waking up in a stranger's bed right now" he pointed out

I nodded," Good point" I took a bite on the French toast

He smiled, "What were doing there?you don't usually go to bars" he asked

"I was upset last night"

He raised a brow, "Why?"

"It's . . . about this new guy"

He inhaled sharply, "The same guy who . . ." he trailed off

I nodded

"Continue" he said 

"It's nothing" I said and drank my hot chocolate 

"Min Ri, you were drunk last night because of that guy and you expect me to believe that that was nothing?" he points 

I sigh, "I broke up with him . . . "

His face lightens up, "Really?!" he asked 

"Yes" 

He smiles, "So, have you realized that I'm the only one good for you?" he jokes 

"Minho" 

"Okay! So, why break up with him? 

"Long story" I say 

"Let me guess . . .you caught him kissing another woman?" he asked 

I shook my head

"Hmmm . . . he made pass at you?"

"He's not a ert" 

"Hmmm . . . he's gay?" 

I shake my head

"I give up" 

"He's ex came back to life . . ." 

He fell silent 

"I know . . ."

"What did he say?" he asked 

"He said he loves me" 

He nodded, "So . . . have you talked to him about it?" 

"His ex and I met up" 

His eyes widened, "Really?" 

I nodded, "She told me to back off or else . . . " 

"Or else what?" 

"His job would be on the line" 

He raises a brow, "What do you mean?" 

"Mr. Cho . . . he's . . . the . . ." I trailed off 

Minho's face hardens and his jaw clenches, "Mr. Cho? Our Economics teacher?!" he asked 

I nodded, "Yes"

"I knew it! There was something else with his stare! I knew it!! I should get him fired!"

"Please don't" I beg
 

He ran his fingers through his hair, "Min Ri . . . what the hell is the matter with you!?" 

"I . . . I love him" 

He looks at me, "So, I need to be an Economics teacher for you to love me again?" he asked 

"Minho . . ." I whispered his name, "That's not it . . ."

"Then, what!? Min Ri, I've loved you since our Sophomore year and all of a sudden you replace me with some teacher!? What the hell is wrong with you?!" he shouted 

My head throbbed, "Please don't shout . . . my head hurts" he plead 

I sighs, "So . . . what are you going to do?" he asked

I breathed in, "I'm going to Washington" I spoke

"You're what?!"

"I'm going to . . . concentrate and study there. I'll be forgetting everything that happened" I said

"I'll come with you" he said

"No! I need this time alone" I spoke

"I don't care . . .I'll be there for you, Min Ri. Even if you push me away" he said

"You're not coming"

"You can't stop me"

I sigh . . .

The next morning, Minho and I filed our permission of transfer to the treasurer’s office. As we waited for the confirmation letter, the girls and boys were staring at us. I raised a brow at Minho.

“They know we broke up” he smiled

“Oh . . .”

Then, a group of teachers passed by. Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Heechul passed and they looked at me. Minho looked at them then, at me.

“I’ve met his family” I said

He nodded, “So . . . what’s his family like?”

“That’s none of your business” I smile at him

“Min Ri” Leeteuk approaches me

“Hey” I smiled

“What are you doing here?” he asked

“I’m waiting for something” I smiled

He nodded, “Well, don’t be late for class, okay?” he reminded

I nodded, “Ne”

The treasurer pops up behind the window and hands up the transfer letters. Minho and I take it and we head to our first class which was Trigonometry. Minho and I sat next to each other and the girls looked at us. Minho smirked.

“I missed this” he spoke

I raised a brow, “What, seeing other girls get jealous over me?”

“No. Having you next to me” he spoke

I smiled

Trigo class was a mess. Minho and I had our eyebrows raised and our mouths hung open. We were such a mess and the lesson was a headache. Good thing it ended soon or else we’d be exploding anytime. Minho and I headed to the cafeteria, since we didn’t have another class until about two hours later. As we took a seat by the empty table, I saw Min Ra and Ryeowook walking together with food in their hands. She smiling up at him and he smiled down at her. She looked . . . happy. I smiled and when she saw me, she winked.

“Min Ri” someone called me

I turned and saw Min Hee, Taemin, Onew, and Jonghyun. No Key this time, “Yes?”

“Wow! You two are together again?” Onew asked, sitting across me

I shake my head, “No”

“You’re leaving?!” Min Hee asked

I raised a brow, “How did you know?”

“I passed by the treasurer’s office this morning and when I entered, I saw your transfer slip being faxed to the head master’s office” she explained

“Oh . . . well . . . yes . . . I’m leaving” I say

“I’m coming with her” Minho says

Their eye widened, “You’re leaving too!?” they asked in unison

Minho nodded

They looked at each other then back at us, “You guys are getting married” Min Hee spoke

“We’re not. We’re going to study in Washington” I cleared out

They looked at each other again and Min Hee took a hold of my wrist, “Come with me”

We sat silent at first but then she spoke, “Why are you doing this?” she asked

I shrugged, “For my peace of mind”

“What about Kyuhyun?”

“What about him?”

“Does he know?”

I shake my head

“Will you tell him?”

I shake my head

“Okay . . . when are you leaving?” she asked

“Tomorrow night” I said

“That fast!?”

I nodded

“I think it wouldn’t be fair for Kyuhyun . . .” she said

“I know . . . I’m actually debating on whether I should tell him or not”

“Tell him”

“Can you do that for me?”

Her eyes widened, “No way! We’re not even close!”

“Please! I beg you”

“Write down a letter then I’ll give it to him” she demanded

I nodded, “Thanks” then, I remembered something, “Min Hee”

“Yes?”

“I’ve been dating Kyuhyun for some time now and . . . I found out that . . .” I trailed off

“Found out what?”

“Donghae likes you”

She laughs, “Funny! Don’t do that I might believe you!” she was still laughing

I looked at her seriously, “I’m not joking”

“Min Ri, stop it” she was serious now

“Okay . . . If you don’t believe me . . .” I shrugged

“Are you serious?” she asked

I looked at her, “Ask him” I smiled

She smiled, “I . . . I have to go!” she ran, giggling to herself

I smiled as I watched her. She looked so happy and she blushed at the thought. I will miss this girl. I will her and her attitude that intimidates a lot of people. I will miss her.
