The second day of school was like hell to me. I was never used to the feeling that Minho wasn’t by my side but, I guess my pride won over me. Good thing English my first class and I was with Min Hee and Kimberly. As I entered the classroom, I saw Min Hee and Kimberly sitting near the window and they were talking to each other.

“Hey” I greeted weakly                              

They stared at me, “What the hell happened to you last night?” Min Hee asked

“What?”

“We were calling you last night” Kim spoke

“My phone died last night”

“How are you and Minho?” Kim asked

“Yeah. He called us up last night. He told us you walked out on him” Min Hee added

“Look, I’m tired. Can we talk about that later?” I said and they kept quiet

A few minutes later, the English teacher walked in and Min Hee flashed her smirk. He placed his things on his desk and started writing on the white board.

“Lee Donghae ... I wonder how he’s related to Henry” Min Hee murmured

“He’s related to Henry?

“Not biologically, though” Kim said

“So, how is her related to Henry?” I asked

“Foster family. All fifteen of them were adopted by this super rich couple who couldn’t bear a child” Min Hee snorted

“Fifteen??” I asked

She nodded, “Siwon, Donghae, Yesung, Heechul, Shindong, Ryeowook, Henry, Leeteuk, Zhou Mi, Kibum, Hangeng, Eunhyuk, Kangin, Sungmin and there was another guy ... I forgot his name”

“Kyuhyun” Donghae stood in front of us, “Am I disturbing you?” he asked

“No, Seonsengnim. I’m sorry” Min Hee apologized and I bowed too

“As I was saying, I’m Lee Donghae. I’m 26 years old and I hope we can all get along well. English is a very easy subject if you listen and do what you’re told” Donghae continued

“He’s so cute” Min Hee whispered

“Actually, all of them are” I added

The class went on and the students, especially Min Hee, were happy with his teaching skills. He was actually good with it and he can handle us well. Four more subjects passed by and finally it was recess. We head down to the cafeteria and took a vacant table. I was in no position to eat, especially with my fight with Minho last night.

“Good morning, ladies!” Taemin greeted us

“Hey” We all greeted in unison

“Where’s Minho?” Key asked and took a seat across me

“I don’t know” I rolled my eyes

“Wow! This is a first. Well, for your information, he’s not with us either” Jonghyun said

“Well, did anybody call him?” Kim asked

The boys looked at each other like they didn’t think of the idea. I rolled my eyes and took out my phone. I dialled his number and after three rings, he answered.

“Babe?”

“Where are you?” I asked

“I’m at home. I’m fixing my things”

“Where are you going?” My eyes widened

“We’re leaving for Japan, remember?” he laughed, “Besides, my class doesn’t start for another two hours” he added

“Okay. Well, come to school today, okay? I need to talk to you” I said

“Yes, babe. I love you” he whispered

“I love you too” I said and disconnected the call

“You made up already?” Min Hee asked as she popped a spoon full of potato salad in

“Not yet” I answered

“Where is he?” Taemin asked

“He’s packing his things for our trip to Japan”

“Japan!?” they asked in unison

“Yup”

“He’s taking you to Japan?” Kim asked

I nodded

“Damn your boyfriend is rich!” Key added

I smiled

After recess, four more subjects passed and damn was I sleepy the whole time. I couldn’t help not shut my eyes. Good thing lunch came after Home Eco and Minho was standing outside my classroom. He held out his hand and I gladly took it. We went to the cafeteria and took a vacant table for two. He took out a heart-shaped container and opened it. Sushi and Teriyaki was laid inside the container. He took out another container and it contained chocolates all the way from Switzerland.

“Sorry” he pouted

“I’ve never seen you pout before” I teased

“Babe, I’m really sorry. I didn’t want to go to that stupid fashion show but a really big project was on the line. I needed to agree with it” Minho pleaded

“I understand. I was angry because it was all so sudden. I wasn’t angry because you were leaving to see you mom’s show. I was angry because I was surprised. Plus, the fact you’d be staying there for four months and maybe more was a shock to me” I explained

“I’m sorry ...” he looked down

“I understand. Now, we need to talk about your stay in New York. I don’t want to see your face on T.V holding another woman’s waist, you got that?”

He chuckled, “Is that what you’re worried about? Me, cheating on you?”

“Yes. To be frank”

“Babe, I wouldn’t dare” He smiled

“Anyway, you have to text me every day, okay? E-mail me when necessary. Call me if possible. Do you understand?”I asked

He nodded, “Oh my Min Ri what would I do without you?” he tucked a strand of hair behind me ear

“Pssh” I rolled my eyes at him and he laughed

After lunch, Minho and I headed to our Eco class. We took our previous seat near the teacher’s table and we waited for the teacher.

“Hey, Min Ri!” Jae Hee greeted

“Hey!”

“Is it true?” she asked

“What is?” I asked

“Minho’s taking you to Japan this weekend?”

“Yes” Minho answered

“Oh great! I just heard that the faculty is planning an advanced trip to Japan this week”

“The Senior batch will go to Japan this week?” Minho asked

“Yes.”

“Why?” I asked

“Well, since the Seniors are concentrating on Japanese history this year, they thought to give the students an experience to their culture” Jae Hee explained

“Oh. Well, then, are we joining them?”I asked Minho

“Well, yeah. If that’s okay with you?” he asked and I nodded

“Okay class, take your seats and I will be announcing something” Mr. Cho walked in and the students quickly rushed to their seats

The class fell silent as he just stood there in front of us. Gazing and observing us, “Okay. As you all know, your major topic in History class this year is Japan. The faculty thought of a good way for you to learn about their history and culture. I will be handing out letters for your parents and please hand this to them immediately when you get home.” He started passing out the letters

As some received the letters, they screamed, “Oh yeah!!!!! Two weeks in Japan!!!!” Hae Seong shouted

“Yey!!! Japanese spa!” Jae Hee cheered

“This is awesome!” Hyun Jae cheered

“Okay class, just a reminder, this is an exposure trip for the whole batch. This trip should help you in studying Japanese history. This is not a vacation trip” Mr. Cho reminded

“Sir?” I raised my hand

“Yes?”

“Will ALL the teachers be attending? Including you?” I asked

“Yea, Mr. Cho? Will you be coming with us?” Jae Hee asked

Mr. Cho smiled, “Yes. All of us will go since your safety is in our hands. We’re required to go”

And there, he received giggles and murmurs from all the girls in our class. We were excited for this trip. This happened once before, during our freshman year. We never imagined this would happen again.

“So class, starting tomorrow, you could start packing and go and have your passports renewed if needed. There will be no classes for the Seniors from tomorrow up until Thursday so that you can prepare and go shopping for clothes” Mr. Cho announced
