“Minseok….!”

I continued walking.

“Kim Minseok!” the voice sounded more urgent this time. But I continued walking out onto the road.

“KIM MINSEOK!” the once calm voice shrieked.

I turned around ready to face the person who spoke that name.

I could see a dark shadow, getting bigger quickly, as if it was running towards me.

It was dark, I remember that much. It was raining, and it was September. Is September a month? I could see a bright light, tears and rain clouded my vision, but the light was too bright to miss.

There was a loud noise; I didn’t know what it was.  There was a sudden pain in my legs as they crumpled from underneath me. My vision turned blurry and then everything went black. A muffled voice came closer, panting they spoke the same name I had heard before. “Minseok…” Then everything went quiet.
