(Taemin's P.O.V)

I quickly plopped down on my bed when I got inside my room. This afternoon sure is bad, I cried out myself out to Onew-hyung & Minho-hyung. I can't help but feel bad, the memory still give me the fear that I felt that time.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

[Flashback: 7 years ago]

"Onew-hyung!" I pranced happily towards the four boys waiting impatiently at our neighborhood children’s park.

“Taemin-ah!” Key hyung rushed to me and pulled me into a headlock. “Why are you late little boy? We’ve been worried!...”

I smiled at him and squirmed my way out of the headlock. “I met one of my classmate, I even brought her here so you can meet her.” They only noticed the girl I’m with when I told them.

“Anyong..” My girl classmate and best girl friend greeted my hyungs shyly. “Park Junghye imnida. Nice to meet you.”

“Anyong, Kibum imnida, just call me Key-oppa!” Key-hyung happily shook Junghye’s hand. “By the way, that tall alien looking boy is Choi Minho.” That earned Key a smack on the head from Onew-hyung and Minho-hyung.

I laughed at them. “I’m Lee Jinki, calling me ‘Onew’ is just fine.” He smiled at Junghye warmly. “Don’t be too close with Key, he’s weird.”

We all laughed at what Onew-hyung said, while Key-hyung just crossed his arms on his chest and pouted.

“Hello!~ I’m Kim Jonghyun~ Nice to meet you” Jonghyun-hyung grinned widely at Junghye as he hug Key at his back. Jonghyun-hyung likes to have skinships with Key-hyung too often, they are the most close among us.

“We’re are will be going today?” I asked curiously as I smiled brightly at them. “Junghye, you’ll come with us right?” I gave her my puppy-dog eyes.

“W-well…” She paused when I gave her another please-please-come-with-us look.”Hmm.. Ok, Min-oppa!~”

“Yay!~” I hugged her tightly and I jumped up and down. “A couple should always be together neh?”

Junghye bit her lower lip and nodded shyly.

“Eh?! You’re a couple?!” Key-hyung panicked and squirmed out of Jonghyun’s hug to go in front of me and Junghye. “You too are still young!”

Junghye and I chuckled happily. “We know that hyung.” I showed them my bracelet and Junghye’s identical one. “but, we promised each other once we’re old enough we’ll be a couple.”

The hyungs chuckled. “Good children!” Key pulled me and junghye in a hug. “The both of you will be my children!~”

“They’re our children!~” Jonghyun joined the hugged but Key broke it off quickly.

“Yay~ group hug!” Onew hugged the four of us again, making Minho join too.

[end of flashback]

I grabbed my hand phone on the pocket of my jeans and answered the call.

“yoboseyo?”

“yoboseyo Oppa…”

I was struck mute, my heart pounding like a dryer full of wet sneakers as an awful-familiar feeling from my childhood settled over me. But I tried my hardest to remind myself I’m not the child Taemin before. I don’t want to keep running away from the past. I managed to answer calmly, “Junghye-ah..”

“Oppa… Ahm.. nothing.. bye…” I was surprised when she hung up the phone. What is wrong with her?

I sighed and tried to forget the call. I stood up from my bed and opened up my computer. Upon opening my messenger, Key-hyung pm-ed me.

MinKey<3: hmm…I just want to know if you’re just fine… I’ve been worried about you these past few days.

DancingMushr0om: umm.. sure =))

MinKey<3: ok, but don’t forget about tomorrow

I sighed again, I picked up my backpack on the floor and got my notebooks.

I should really know how to fix things up without worrying everybody..
