Apologies

I pointed to the direction of Jongin's room and prayed he would hear her out; from her sitting here and crying in front of me to explaining everything she could I knew Victoria was there and hopefully Jongin knew and saw that too.   Victoria POV   “Jongin?”   “What do you want?”    “To apologize and explain~”   “No need I heard everything” I paused as he walked towards me and shut the door, leaning into my face; his eyes contrasting with the light of the night.       “But what I don’t understand is how you messed with me like that and then threatened me~” “You see, it is only because my maker~” “Yeah, yeah he would let you go if I was brought in and no one would get hurt right? But wrong now he is going to harm my family and I~” “I can’t explain how stupid I was for believing in such a evil creature; allowing~” Jongin leaned in closer to my face , his chest brushing mine; causing me to hold my breathe. “Allowing myself to be slowly turned into something I am not~” “You are really there?”      His eyes a hunter green now fading to brown...     “Victoria?” “Yes, it’s me. I told you I wasn’t gone, and that~” “But how, when you were changed, you had a deadly look in your eyes and~” “I was never going to harm you; I love~”     He leaned in and placed his forehead on mine, causing me to hiccup in my breathing. This Jongin was a total contrast from the other one; I noticed he was defensive because of what I was and not who I was.     “Are you for real? The same girl I helped all those years ago? The one who I care about?” “Yes, I never left Jongin; I only did those things earlier because I wanted to be set free from my maker and come find you.”     He slid a hand on my lower back and the other to the nape of my neck...     “What are you doing?” “Watching your thoughts” he closed his eyes, his head against mine.     Jongin POV     Her thoughts are so pure, her heart may not be beating and she wants it to; she is still there Victoria is here right now. I do love her, I couldn’t kill her even if I tried and to know that I don’t have too anymore and that she is good company, I want to love her the way I have been dreaming for years now. She’s back!     I opened my eyes and saw her looking at me, her large red eyes brown now and her soft pale skin shinning in the night light. Beautiful she has always been to me, but after earlier today she seemed so different.  I thought for a moment is this a skin crawler in the shape of Victoria here to torment me or was it her. Indeed it was Victoria, her thoughts told me the truth about what was happening and that she really loved me and only me. They showed me that she wasn’t going to harm any of us; that it was just a way to anger me into tracking her down and being caught up with her maker who is out for my blood, or anyone else in my family. I stood there holding the nape of her neck and waist, forehead to forehead. Thinking what should I do, kiss her or make her prove herself worthy of being in my family. So I chose.     “Jongin? are you~”     Her soft lips tasted like honey; just like when she drank her tea every morning. Her skin smelt of peaches a distant memory of her favorite fruit that she ate all the time.
