“Again?” he responds.
“Ye.” I kiss him goodbye before as I walk away. “Ohh, I almost forgot. I’ll be working night shifts these next few days.”
**Cling Cling**
“Annyeonghaseyo, how may I—” I tilt forward to bow before realizing who actually walks in. “Go away.” I fix my posture before I could fully greet him.
“How could you talk to a customer like that??”
“Okay.” I look him in the eye. “If you’re not going to buy anything please leave~” I sweetly say as I give him a cutesy baby face.
“With a face like that? I’ll definitely buy something!” He runs to a refrigerator.
Pabo. I couldn’t tell if that was sarcasm or if he really meant it… Sarcasm I presume?
“How much?” A small cart of milk lays on the counter.
“$1.54” What? He was a customer.
He shoves his hand in his pocket to find any change.
“Having trouble??” I joke with him.
“I—I usually have my card… No, my manager usually pays for everything…”
“Uhhg,” I sound of disgust. “How irresponsible.”
He slams money onto the counter as the coins dance on the glass.
I slam my hand on the coins, killing their joy, “Kamsamida~” I sweetly say as I retrieve the money from the counter.
Immediately after paying, he takes the milk and opens it. As I register the money into the machine, I couldn’t help but look up at him.
