Chapter 7

Our city is in a state of panic. But we assure our citizens that the government is doing everything they can to protect each and every one of you. We are calling out our heroes, police, swat to step up because it’s our sworn duty to protect our citizens.


“Pffft… easy for him to say, he probably has a chopper ready to take him out of here the moment his speech ended.” Sunny chided about the city mayor doing his address.

"How could that be? I thought Agent Yang already bomb the place..."

"Well he did, but i think the only ones who died were the ones close to him... The only way to kill them is to either by blowing them up or chopping their heads off. And so those that were away from him, were probably able to survive unscathed."


Yoona immediately picked up the look of desperation in Yuri’s face. Yoona thought it was the look of confusion; that Yuri was now threading at the idea of going out to save the world.

“Don’t even think about it, Yul…” Yoona immediately warned Yuri.

But Yuri has no intentions of ever leaving her. It was just the thought of helplessness that is lingering in Yuri. How long can they do this to stay alive?

“Yoong… I…”

Yoona looks up, seeing everybody giving her sympathetic looks. She must look pathetic right now, but she’s at the point where she doesn’t give a damn.

“Yoona…” Tiffany tries to reach out for her friend, but Yoona just steps back.

Yoona knew that Tiffany was just trying to make her feel better. But nothing can seem to calm her right now, that she felt she was left with no choice but to walk away…

“Excuse me…”

“Yoong?”

Yuri follows Yoona to the bedroom, shutting the door behind her. She walks closer to the trembling girl before wrapping Yoona in a protective embrace.

“What’s wrong?”

Yoona looks helplessly at Yuri, biting her quivering lips to stop them from trembling. Yuri gently touches Yoona’s cheek before tenderly brushing their lips together. The kiss was gentle and soothing, enough to calm Yoona slowly.

“I’m just scared Yul…”

Yuri pulls Yoona closer to her as she hears the fear in her darling’s voice…

“I’m scared that you would have to go out there… And that you’re going to hurt yourself or worse… that you…”

Yoona’s words trailed off, afraid that the moment she says it out loud, that the chances of it happening would become higher.

“Shhh… shhhh…” Yuri tries to calm the shivering girl in her arms… “I won’t…”

“This is what I’m scared of Yul” Yoona’s voice continue to quake at every word she said. “That I’m just going to wake up and not see you ever again. The thought of you being out there in danger… Of them hurting you… the chance that you might… might… end up like Agent Yang… You’re still here but that thought it already killing me.”

“Yoong…” Yuri leans her forehead against Yoona “I know it looks hopeless right now, baby, but I’ll do whatever I can to not make that happen.”

“Tell me you will stay… tell me…”

“I’ll never leave you.”

Seohyun swallows a huge lump in as she watches from the window the what-was once a quaint neighborhood now thrown into full chaos. People frantically throwing their belongings in their vehicles, dragging their hesitant and confused children to the cars, and leaving the place they called home in search of a safe refuge.

“Seo…”

Seohyun turns and even if her Tiffany unnie was smiling at her, still she could see the worry, or even something more than that in those crescent eyes.

“It looks terrible right now but were going to survive this, just like how we survived the hospital…” Tiffany tries to stay calm, hiding her own hesitation.

“Shouldn’t we leave?” Seohyun suggested

“That’s not a good idea…”

Sunny steps in front of everyone.

“I know right now it might look hopeless, but we can’t go out there without a destination or a plan in mind. In here we have supplies to last us probably a month. As long as we keep ourselves guarded, we can protect ourselves.”

“Detective?”

The girls all turns and sees Yuri clutching Yoona’s hand as they walk in the living room to join the girls.

“Doctor Lee is right. Right now, we have no idea where the zombies are. We know they are there but we don’t know where they are going to appear. Let’s start planning right now while they are not close yet.”

Yuri looks at Sunny, asking if she could continue and Sunny nods in approval.

“We should have someone on top, keeping watch of our vicinity. I think Hyo would make the perfect choice. She is efficient in sniping. The rest of us prepare the stuff. Doc? What do you need us to do?”

Sunny sees everyone’s attention focus on her, except for Hyomin whose full focus seems to be somewhere else.

“The first floor will now be out of the question. In case we have an attack, the higher we are the harder it is for them to reach us. So, when we finish moving everything upstairs and boarding everything, we have to end up destroying the stairs. We will have to start moving everything upstairs, medical supplies, weapons, food… We don’t know how long the electricity and water supply is going to last, so it would be better to have all the tubs filled with water.”

“Ok… Detective Choi and Kwon you two are in charge of barricading our doors and windows. I already got the boards in the garage. All you girls need to do is nail them to the doors and windows. The rest of us start moving the supply upstairs.”

“Hey…” Yuri pulls Yoona closer, tucking the girl’s hair behind her ear “It will be ok…”

Yoona nods lifelessly and to ease Yoona’s fears Yuri pulls her close, whispering her promise before she seals it with a kiss..

“Why do you think Doc Lee chose us to do this dude? Do we look like men to her? Or maybe because were tall and we appear macho?”

Sooyoung continue to hit Yuri with her queries, but she stops when she sees Yuri ing her polo shirt.

“W-what are you doing?”

“I’m hot…” Yuri whined, setting her polo shirt by the couch before she picks up her nail gun. Sooyoung face scrunches up as she looks at Yuri in that tight black razorback top. What is Yuri trying to do make everybody drool over her?

“Ah…”

The two girls turned and saw Yoona by the stairs carrying a box, her eyes obviously running all over Yuri’s lustful curves.

And Yoona quickly look down in embarrassment after she realized she got caught. She couldn’t understand why, she obviously saw Yuri less clothed than this, yet she couldn’t help but still lust over the girl.

“Oh Yoona… you need help?”

Yuri until now still remains clueless to Yoona’s certain “needs”.

“Help her?!” Sooyoung says in dismay “You’re going to leave me here? What if the zombies starts trampling on the door?! Could you live with the thought that your bestfriend died because you are trying to get it on?”

“I’m not trying to get it on…” Yuri frowns at Sooyoung “I’ll be quick Soo… I promise…”

Yuri hurriedly skips to Yoona’s side, taking the box away from Yoona’s hands.

“It’s ok, babe… I could carry this, silly…”

But of course the gentleman that Yuri is will never let her baby work.

“I’ll be back quick Soo…”

“Pfffftttt…” Sooyoung grunts as she continues to board down the windows.

Sunny walks around checking as Tiffany and Seohyun are stacking up the boxes with medical supplies and canned food. But even if she looks like she was focus on the girls, her eyes trailed Hyomin who went to another side of the home.

Sunny should just wait by the door and listen in. She did that when they were first dating but now she knows it was better to ask.

“Who are you on the phone with?”

Sunny’s question sounded innocent enough, but it’s the tone of her voice that reveals all her doubts and suspicions.

“It’s not Eunjung isn’t it?” Sunny didn’t even gave Hyomin the time to answer.

“Sunny… I need you to understand how grave our situation is…”

“Yes I know that” Sunny bites back “What do you think I’m doing right now? Were getting everything ready”

“I know that. But none of these girls are trained to handle situations right here. Eun- I mean Agent Ham, she has been part of this team that has been dealing with special cases like this.”

“What do you think your ex lover can do to help?”

“Look Sunny, if we could have the chance to escape here unscathed and unharmed wouldn’t you do it?”

“Well… why don’t you tell your savior to protect somebody else, cause me and the girls could survive this just fine.”

Hyomin could only growl in frustration “You don’t get it, do you? Were not properly equipped to stay here for more than a week. The world is going into chaos right now, it’s not only zombies who need to watch out for, people are much worse. Please Sunny… I need you to understand, we are not ready for this.”

“Hmmp… Who on Earth is?”

“You want it here?”

Yoona nods as Yuri places the box on the floor.

“What?” Yoona quickly looks away to hide her blush…

“What? I’m not doing anything…” Yuri says teasingly but she knows what was causing the blush in her girl’s face.

“Stop looking at me like that…” Yoona whines cutely trying to make Yuri look away.

But Yuri didnt listen and instead stood up, walked closer to the other girl until they were toe to toe. Yuri tries to peer in Yoona’s blushing face but Yoona kept on gazing down to avoid Yuri’s teasing stare.

Kekekekeke…

Yuri chuckles lightly knowing she has a little bit of edge this time against the doctor. She playfully closes the door, before returning to Yoona. She closes every inch gap and playfully nibbles on Yoona’s lips. Yoona chuckles softly and wraps her arms around Yuri’s neck. Yuri runs her hands down Yoona’s thighs, carrying the doe eyed girl to sit in the desk.

Their lips met again in a sweet kiss, but this time Yoona's hand was playfully leading Yuri to her jean button.

“OHHHH Nice…”

Yuri turns and sees Hyoyeon peeking out from the window and nodding approvingly as she looks at the two.

“Go on…. Go on…” Hyoyeon tells the girls. “Just pretend that I’m not here…”

Seeing Hyoyeon hang out the window was enough to quench any heat between Yuri and Yoona.

Who would have thought that a girl with an ax would look so ravishing?

The girls tries to look away but Yuri looks so good destroying the staircase, it would be a pain not to look. Jessica quickly pull out a camera phone and starts videoing Yuri.

“What are you doing?” Yoona asks.

But Jessica already planned for a comeback to Yoona’s question.

“Don’t worry doc, being a journalist I couldn’t just let a story like this go. You’re the star of my documentary, Detective Kwon… If I survive this zombie apocalypse this documentary is my offer to the world.”

Yuri looks up worriedly and by the annoyed look in Yoona’s face, she has every right to be worried.

“You know what your offer to the world is?” Taeyeon points out “When we are going to get chased by those zombies, you lay down on the ground and sacrifice yourself so we could escape…”

“Then, I’ll be taking you with me….”

Taeyeon smirks goofily “You can’t live without me, huh?”

“Just hush!” Jessica growls before she starts videoing… “What the?”

Jessica couldn’t believe how her shot was being destroyed when the midget kept stepping in front of the camera.

Jessica swerves her camera to the right, Taeyeon move to the right too…

Jessica grunts angrily and moves to the left, Taeyeon moves along with her.

Jessica tried again and again and again but that midget is obviously trying to annoy her.

“You are doing it on purpose!”

Tiffany steps in before the two starts a heated argument.

“Please… let’s stop this…”

“Why are we destroying the staircase again?”

“So, just in case the zombies attack us, they would have a hard time getting to us.”

“Excuse me?”

The girls turn to Tiffany who was raising her hand like a school girl in class.

“If I could suggest, you know, so that we the doctors won’t be such a burden to our brave police officers, how about if you train us a bit on how to protect ourselves just so we would know what to do when that situation comes?”

Yuri immediately found it so weird why everyone just turned to look at her.

“Ummm… I think that’s a good idea, me, Soo and Hyoyeon could teach you girls some basics.”

“I want Yuri to teach me!” Taeyeon raises her hand and hurriedly take the first dibs on the hot detective…

And Sooyoung and Hyoyeon watches as every girl runs to Yuri so she could teach them.

Hyomin just shakes her head when even Sunny has to push Tiffany out of the way to get to Yuri.

Seohyun was about to go over to Yuri too, but Hyoyeon grab on to the girl.

“Don’t go over there… someone’s about to explode already…” Hyoyeon whispers warningly…

Hyoyeon, Sooyoung and Seohyun slowly turns to the other side and Yoona was standing there in the corner, her face is too red that she looks like her head is about to blow off her neck.

“Oh c’mon you lil squirt!” Jessica says impatiently… “How hard is it to shoot a gun?”

“I’m sorry my little fingers are too delicate to do something as rough as this… I wish I have the same manly hands as you so I could… ACCCCKKKKK”

Taeyeon looks like she has to learn how to survive Jessica more than the zombies as Jessica starts choking the life out of her.

Yuri have been trying to look for Yoona but she was nowhere in the room. She have been wanting to go and look for the girl but everyone just seems to crowd on her that moment.

“Oh c’mon you guys…” Hyoyeon says “It’s time for a break…”

Yuri hurriedly steps out of the room to look for the girl.

“Yoong?”

Yuri is starting to worry when she couldn’t find Yoona anywhere in the house.

“Yoong…” Yuri says sweetly when she finally saw the girl arranging the supplies along with Hyomin. Yoona saw Yuri, but tries to ignore the girl and kept her focus on the canned meat in her hand.

Hyomin immediately picked up the tension, quickly stood up, not wanting to do anything with the love quarrel.

“Yoona… I’ll go over and check on Sunny…”

“Ok unnie…”

Hyomin got out of there as quick as she could…

“I could help…” Yuri offers… “What can I do?”

“It’s ok Yuri…” Yoona says flatly.

Yuri quickly gulps when she heard what Yoona called her. She knows what being called Yuri means, it means she’s in trouble.

“You’re probably TIRED, from helping those other GIRLS…”

“Well no, they’re quite fast learners…”

“I bet they are…” Yoona says with a hint of sarcasm before standing up with the bags.

“I could take that…” Yuri quickly offers.

“No… thanks…” Yoona yanks the bag away “I could take care of this myself… but maybe the other girls need help. Why don’t you go over there?”

And poor Yuri was left wondering what she needs to do as she watches Yoona walk out the room.

The whole entire night, the girls could feel the tension as Yoona have completely ignored Yuri during dinner time. Yoona stood up first after dinner, leaving a wondering Yuri…

“Oh wow this looks like a sleepover…”

The girls couldn’t agree more as they look at the bedroom floor filled with mats and blankets…

Jessica sees Yoona scooting two mats together… And Yuri smiles in relief, maybe Yoona have forgiven her.

Hmmm… this is my chance to sleep near Yuri…

Jessica giggles sneakily at her plan…

She was about to take over the mat next to Yoonyul’s when a midget just bounce out of nowhere and took over.

“My mat…” Taeyeon says with authority…

It was HER again trying to ruin everything, but Jessica wasn’t going to argue with her and starts searching for another…

But there was no another…

It was Yuri, Yoona, Taeyeon extra space and then the other side has Tiffany, Seohyun, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung while other in the corner, Sunny is next to Hyomin.

She was left with no choice…

Jessica was eyeing her prize watching guard by the window sill. Kwon Yuri just looks so hot even if she’s just standing there, watching out the window.

“What the?”

Jessica growls lightly as she feels someone embrace her.

“Ummm… so fluffy…” Taeyeon mutters in her sleep. “OW!”

Taeyeon holds on to her stomach as Jessica just er punch her.

“What is wrong with you?” Taeyeon growls at Jessica.

“Who you calling fluffy, short stuff?”

“Oh… I… I didn’t know I was holding you…”

Yuri turns her head towards the arguing girls on the mats.

“Don’t mind us Yul…” Taeyeon waves her off “Were just chatting here…”

“Oh okay… don’t be too loud. You’ll wake up Yoona…”

“Ok…” Jessica chuckles while continue to gawk shamelessly at Yuri.

“Pffft.”

“Yul…” Sooyoung nudges Yuri… “It’s my shift now… go join your girl in bed…”

Yuri sighs worriedly…

“She’s still mad at me…”

“Oh c’mon… you’re like a human cheeseball, she can’t stay that mad at you for a long time…”

“I hope so… Gosh… I hope so…”

Yoona was about to step out of the bathroom when she sees Yuri standing there by the doorway…

“Sorry…” Yuri has her head hanging low and Yoona could obviously sense that Yuri was feeling guilty.

But Yoona quickly look away from those sad puppy eyes, before she could kiss the girl in forgiveness.

“Yeah ok…” Yoona says blankly obviously still upset over it.

Yoona couldn’t help but giggle as she sees the mortal enemies Taeyeon and Jessica ending up sleeping together with their arms and limbs intertwined together.

Yoona kneels down and uncovers her mat, but just as she was about to lay down, she sees three paper roses.

She didn’t need to know who it’s from, she knows it perfectly…

“I’m sorry…”

But before Yoona could react, she felt Yuri’s arms wrap around her waist…

“I’m sorry, baby…” Yuri nuzzles on Yoona’s neck.

“Why three?”

“Ummm… It’s I’m so sorry…”

“Oh…” Yoona says blankly… “I thought it meant the other three words…” Yoona shrugs “I guess I’m wrong…”

“What? It does… It does…” Yuri nods her head hard… “I love you…” Yuri mumbles softly… “Only you. I love only you…” Yuri says like a child begging for love…

Yoona looks away to avoid showing her amused smile…

“Ok… I forgive you…” Yoona says, but in a hard to get tone.

Yuri presses a soft kiss on Yoona’s neck before pulling Yoona down to the mat with her.

“YUL!” Yoona almost screams out before she stops herself. She smacks the girl cuddling in her arms. “Stop… you’ll wake them up…”

Yuri looks up at the girl, pressing her forehead against Yoona’s.

“Please don’t ever be mad at me…” Yuri blinks those puppy eyes…

“I can’t promise you that…”

“Please?” Yuri nuzzles, tickling Yoona in the process…

“Fine…” Yoona quickly swats Yuri’s hand away before she could wake up the others.

“You forgive me?”

Yoona nods…

The way Yuri is looking right at her felt like its taking away Yoona’s strength to breathe. She was helpless against Yuri’s stare that’s why she ended up looking away.

But Yuri tilts Yoona’s chin to look up to her and just the sight of those doe eyes made Yuri fall hard again.

She presses a soft kiss on Yoona’s forehead, trailing down to her lashes. They shared a sweet smile, as Yuri nuzzle her nose with Yoona’s.

They giggle softly until Yuri finally drew closer, laying her lips softly on the lips of the girl she loves. And as they linger longer in each other’s lips, Yoona could feel Yuri wrapping her arms around Yoona’s waist as she press every inch closer.

Yoona knew she could finally sleep, knowing she was wraps in Yuri’s arms.

A bit of fighting was healthy, and she hates to admit it but it felt good being wooed by the girl you love.

Yuri was walking back to the bedroom when she heard someone typing inside one of the other rooms.

“Doc?”

Sunny turns away from her laptop and saw the ravishing beauty standing by the doorway.

“Oh detective… what can I help you with?”

“No… ummm… I just got out of bathroom… Ummm…”

Sunny waited for Yuri to continue…

“You want to ask something detective?”

“Ahhh yes…” Yuri walks closer, taking the swivel chair across Sunny.

“Ummm… Yoona said that you know more about what is happening than what all of us now.. Do you have like any idea who might have started this?”

“I used to have a list…. But me and Hyomin already went through most of the names, but all or most of it ended up in dead ends. Let me see if its still here…”

Sunny went through her file cabinet and pulled out a folder.

“This is the list I have…” She hands the folder to Yuri “Being in the force you might have some clue or more idea of their crimes. So, it might help if you look at it again.”

There were around 24 names as Yuri skimmed the list. Some names were familiar, others she have never heard off but two names felt as if its clenching .

“Jang Geun Suk? Agent Yang mentioned to me that name.”

“Yes… he’s the prime suspect, problem is he just disappeared.”

“Went out of the country?”

“We put out a BOLO out to all our international allies just in case they have a clue, but so far we didn’t get any response.”

“Could he? Could he be dead?”

“Dead or hiding very well.”

“P-park Leeteuk? H-how could he be involved in this?”

“You know him?” Sunny raised her brow in surprise “Oh, how could I forgot? It was your team who finally caught him…”

But Park Leeteuk was somebody more than that, he was so much more. He was the monster in Yuri’s dreams.

Yuri staggered almost lifelessly to the mat, dropping to her knees as she lays down beside Yoona. And just like it was automatic, Yoona even if she was still asleep, instantly nuzzle closer in Yuri’s chest, mumbling softly in her dreams.

And Yuri, poor Yuri couldn’t do anything to silence her fears. They were haunting her once again, she took Yoona in her arms, pulls her as close as she can, praying to God to finally end this nightmare.

Flashback…

“Dr. Im…”
Yoona watches the tall, handsome prosecutor pushed his way through a sea of spectators and the media to walk over to her. 

“Mr. Jung.”

“Great job out there…” The lead prosecutor flashes a thankful smile at the doctor “Your statement is the one that finally nailed Park Leeteuk inside his coffin.”

“Well I couldn’t done it without our team, and you did a great job prosecuting…”

“Thank you…” Mr. Jung tries to loosen up his tie “That’s some maniac in there and I won’t let him get away with pleading insanity, he deserves to rot in jail. Well, it’s over now… And I need a drink.”

He gives Yoona a friendly squeeze in the shoulder.

“Tell Yuri hi for me…”

He says as he was about to go…

“Speaking of the devil…” He says teasingly as he sees Yuri walks over to them. 

“Hi…” Yuri would have liked to greet Yoona with a kiss, but being in public they try to remain discreet. 

But it was obvious to everyone that there was something between the two more than two good friends. The way they were standing so close together, how Yuri’s hand is on Yoona’s arm, how Yoona was brushing the hair out of Yuri’s face and of course the way they just look at each other, it’s definitely different.

And everyone could see it, everyone…

Anyone who looks at Park Leeteuk would immediately assume he was harmless, maybe even good looking. But Kwon Yuri knows there was something sinister hidden beneath that face.

She scans through her notes to hide her nerves. It was hard not to worry at the thought of being by herself alone with this maniac. Yuri wasn’t supposed to be doing the interview but Park has personally requested for her.

“Yul?”

Yuri turns and sees Taeyeon standing beside her. The forensic expert is going to coach her on what to say to the mad man.

“Are you going to be okay?”

Yuri let out a deep breath before nodding.

“Don’t worry…were right here so nothing is going to happen to you. But remember…”

Yuri turns to Taeyeon…

“What serial killers never had was the chance for someone to listen to them. So, don’t go there and get straight to the point, let him carry you into the conversation. You would know that at every 99 percent lie he said, 1 percent of it is the truth. The more you keep him talking, the more he would reveal things.”

Yuri nods once again before letting out a nervous smile.

“And Yul?”

“Yes Doc?”

“Yoona would kill me if I let anything happen to you so be careful in there…”

Yuri was welcomed by Leeteuk’s boyish smile the moment she walks in. 

“Detective Kwon… I’m so glad you finally say yes to my invitation, I’m getting quite lonely you know…”

He says playfully, resting his cheek on his palm. Yuri felt her soul being stripped away as Leeteuk just watches her with such anticipation. And as much as Yuri wants to get out of there, she calms herself taking a seat in front of the man.

“So?”

“So?” Leeteuk teases back.

“You want to talk to me about something?”

Leeteuk let out a lovelorn sigh…

“Lately detective, I havent been able to sleep, I couldn’t eat and all I do is think of a person… I think this is what they call a crush…”

Yuri could hear Taeyeon from the earphone telling her to let him keep talking.

“A crush?”

His lips slowly curve into a sinister smile…

“She’s so beautiful my crush, tall, slender, skin so fair, red lips and those LARGE, DOE EYES.”

The look of fear in the detective’s eyes were priceless and Leeteuk was ready to ignite it some more.

“Do you know her, detective? The medical examiner who testified in my trial?”

Yuri felt like the whole world just froze around, Taeyeon’s voice in the earphone sounded more like buzzing noise, trapping her in this sick world with Leeteuk.

“Y-yeah I do…” Yuri slowly stammers.

“Isn’t she the loveliest?” Leeteuk sighs like a lovesick high school boy again “So beautiful and intelligent and FEISTY, she’s like every boy’s dream girl…”

He then let out a sick smile at Yuri.

“Or every girls… I have a little secret”

He curls his finger, motioning Yuri to move closer to her. Yuri hesitated for a bit, but in the end, stood up from her seat to lean closer.

Once Yuri was closer enough, Leeteuk whispered in a breathy voice.

“I dream of doing things to her every night, making her scream, just poun-”

“That’s enough…” Yuri says, gritting her teeth in fury. 
“Why? Don’t tell me you’re getting jealous, detective?”

Yuri remains quiet trying to even out her deep breaths. She could hear Taeyeon telling her to calm down…
“Because I could do things to her that you could never do…”
Yuri could feel her composure slowly slipping from her. She knows she has to get out that room. She has to, before she tries and hurt the man.

“I have nothing more to say to you…”

“But I have so many things to share…” Leeteuk pouts disappointingly “Don’t you want to serve justice? To those poor, poor girls?”

“You don’t know anything because you’re not the dollmaker.”

“I’m not?” Leeteuk teased

“The dollmaker has always been so meticulous, he couldn’t just let something like skin underneath the victim’s fingernail catch him. You know what you are, Mr. Park? You are nothing more but a copycat killer, trying to take fame for something you didn’t do”

“Bravo…”

Leeteuk starts clapping slowly, mocking Yuri even more.

“I have been wondering who could finally solve that puzzle… I should have known that a fine woman like Dr. Im has such good taste.”

Yuri was about to grab him, but was able to catch herself.

“You better shut your mouth before I shut it for you.” 

“Or what? Huh? I’m already in jail what harm can I do to her, right?” 

“I will kill you myself.”

“Maybe I’m not really the real dollmaker, but who cares about that, right? As long as you put someone in jail, make yourself look good in front of the public.”

“Just one more secret left, detective…”

“I don’t want to hear it.”

“C’mon don’t you? I’m sure you are just itching to know what it is…”

Even if Yuri was walking out, Leeteuk kept on talking…

“I just want you to know, that me and the dollmaker we have the same taste.”

Seeing that he finally caught Yuri’s attention, Leeteuk continued to mess with Yuri’s head.

“so, it’s not me who you need to watch over because trust me, the outside world is a very, very dangerous place especially for such a pretty girl like Dr. Im. And you know what my friend said about her?”

Yuri was now trembling in both fear and anger, she clench her fist tightly, trying to control herself.

“He said that Dr. Im is a screamer.”

Leeteuk grimace diabolically as he saw the rage in the beautiful detective’s eyes.

“So, tell me Detective, is that true?”

What happen next came so quick, that nobody was able to react.

And right in front of them, Yuri have grabbed a fistful of Leeteuk’s hair, smashing his head into the table. 

“STOP HER! STOP HER!” Taeyeon yells out to Daesung in panic.
The girl in that room wasn’t the gentle and sweet Yuri that she knows, it was different. It was the side of Yuri, that people hardly see…

Yuri yanks her gun out of her holster and pressing its muzzle on Leeteuk’s cheek.

“Who is he?” Yuri growls “Tell me who is he?”

And underneath the bloody mess, Leeteuk still has the audacity to smile, knowing that he won against the detective.

“I will never tell…”

Yuri quickly bolted off the mat, heart beat racing and breathe out of sync after waking up from that nightmare.

“Hey… hey…” Yoona sits up beside Yuri, cupping her lover’s face. “It’s ok, it’s just a dream… Shhh…”

Yoona coos softly, trying to calm her agitated lover.

“It’s ok baby, it’s ok…”

Yoona felt so helpless as she sees the look in Yuri’s eyes, they look so scared almost like a child being haunted by monsters.

“Yoong…” Yuri mumbles, burying herself in Yoona’s embrace.

Yoona starts cradling Yuri in her arms, humming comforting words to calm Yuri…

Yoona was holding on to her lover so tenderly, that Yuri found it so easy to slowly let go.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

The sound of a loud explosion had instantly brought all those fears back.

“Yul… I’m sorry for ruining your yoonyul moment here but I think we have a problem…”

Yuri kisses Yoona in the lips before standing up from the mat. She picks up her gun, clicking it as she walks to the window.

She moves the curtains slightly before carefully peeking outside; making sure that whatever was behind all the chaos wouldn’t notice the movement.

“WHOOOHHHOOOOO!!!!!

Some idiot was right there in the middle of the street, dancing like a madman as he sees his Molotov cocktail burned down a parked car.

Yuri watches carefully as a group of thugs drive down the streets in their motorcycles, revving up their engines while shooting their guns in the dark sky.

But it wasn’t just that which worried Yuri, because dangling along at the back of the motorcycles were those groaning corpses, leaving a dark ooze trail as they get drag on the streets.

“How sick can some people be?”

The men walks to the house across from them. Taeyeon growls as she sees one of the men kick the door into splinters before he and some of his men marched in, cackling like some maniacs.

The girls couldn’t see what was happening but judging by the screams and gun shots, they knew it was a tragedy.

They saw the men walked out of the house, carrying out some gadgets while dragging along with them a price… A helpless teenage girl begging to be spared…

“We are going to be next…” Yuri says grimly to everyone…

And as much as they don’t want to believe that, they know that what Yuri said was true. And they saw the look in Yuri’s eyes, no matter how hard she tries to hide it there was obvious fear in it.

All the preparation they did, the protective measures they do, it’s now worthless…

There were monsters everywhere, striking fear to whoever crosses their path…

And they are close to being victims once again…

One of the men were staring everywhere when he spots the dark, two storey house across the street. A vile smile has spread in his lips as he spotted their next target.

Yuri took a grip of the window pane, feeling helpless as she sees the men walking over to their house. Their home which they tried to protect is once again put in danger.

“Yul?”

Yuri looks up and sees the faces of the girls all filled with as much, maybe even more fear than she has. But the moment she sees Yoona’s face, she quickly shakes every fear in her. She need to think, need to make the right decision if she wants to protect Yoona.

“What are we going to do?”

Yuri takes a deep breath, before pulling back the slide to her handgun.

“Don’t worry, I’ll handle them…”

In a maximum State Prison…

“Hey… who’s in there?”

The heavily tattooed man yells at the staggering man coming towards him. He took out his shiv and smirks…

“You don’t know who you’re messing with…” He threatens, following through his threat by jamming his shiv into the man’s abdomen.

He jammed his shiv into the abdomen, smirking amusingly until he heard the man groaning.. He looks up, panic and confused at the situation that he’s in to.

“W-what?! OH! Trying to be a tough guy, huh?!” He stabs his shiv again but this time…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

It was him who ended up yelling out as the man just sink his teeth into his neck, ripping the flesh out of his body. The rest of his gang members starts stumbling backwards, helpless as they watch their leader being ripped alive.

UUUUUUUUUAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

It must have been karma on how these men who ripped the humanity and dignity from their victims are now fearing for their own lives.

They watch helplessly as out of the shadows of the prison, more and more of those monsters are appearing.

The men have now ended up as victims in this vicious cycle.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

It was like music to Leeteuk’s ears as he listens to those hardcore criminals screaming for their lives. He looks out from his cell, smiling amusingly as he watches those monsters tearing the flesh from these defenseless men.

“Were you waiting for a long time?”

Leeteuk lips curve into a devious smile as he saw the beautiful woman standing by his cell.

“That uniform suit you…”

The woman just scoffs as she was clad in a prison guard uniform.

“I have to fit in, you know…”

“With your beauty, it’s hard not to stand out…”

Leeteuk commented before smiling, now that he thinks about it. There’s another beauty he is ready to devour once he escape this hell.

She shakes the key in front of his cell before releasing him.

“Let me enjoy this show a bit…”

Leeteuk smiles as from his second floor cell, he could see the nightmarish horror that those men are now facing.

The woman turns around and smirks as the zombie continue to devour their preys.

“You think it’s fun here… wait til you see what is happening outside…”

Leeteuk turns towards his partner and his smile could never be more frightening…

“I can’t wait…”
