Healing.

Nothing Can Last Forever.

Your Point of View

You wake up, your eye's crusted with gooey stuff. You sit up and rub them, when you realize you're in your room, you've never been so happy to see your small, digusting room. You're free from that chair and you feel rather excited to see your aunt and uncle, but you don't know what they'll do you. Will they yell at you for being gone for a long time? Or will they nurture your wounds, take care of you? They're so hard to read sometimes.

You put your LONG knight gown on with your LONG sleeves after you take a quick shower and walk downstairs. You hear the coffee machine beeping, signaling that the coffee's ready. You peek in the kitchen and see your aunt and uncle sitting at the kitchen table, reading the newspaper like everymorning. You quietly walk in and pour yourself a cup of coffee. Your aunt and uncle don't look at you.

"Where were you yesterday?" You aunt asked.

"NaNa, I was gonna ask her that," your Uncle said rather annoyed with your aunt NaNa. You're not sure why either.

"Danny, relax, I just asked her a question. So, Hye Rim, where were you?"

"At a friends house." You lied.

"Really? You're making friends, that's good to hear." NaNa sounded more upbeat than usual.

"Where did you get those cuts on your face?" Danny asked.

"What? These, oh. . ." You thought, "would you believe me if I said I was kidnapped by two guys, asking for you but taking me instead and cutting me everywhere saying that you owed them money?" You pretended to joke around.

"What?" NaNa asked, "Who? What did they look like? Where did they hurt you? Let me see." NaNa rushed over to you, sounding scared and worried.

"Yah! I was joking," You lied again, "I just fell down some stairs. You don't need to worry.

"Oh, Hye Rim, don't scare me like that, please!" NaNa sounded frustrated.

"Mianha," You paused for a moment, "Imo, Ajeossi, can I stay home from school today?"

"Weh?" They asked simultaneously.

"I feel sick, I was out all last night. Jebal?"

Danny sighed, "arreseo, but lock the doors and stay inside. Drink some medicine, and tomorrow, make sure to get all of your absent work from school."

"Ne, gamsahabnida." You said, bowing your head chearfully.

NaNa lightly hit you on the head and chuckled, "ye, be good. We need to get ready for work, get some sleep."

"Ne." You walked unstairs into your room and went back to sleep. You could here Danny and NaNa talking in their room.

"I don't why we were ever mean to her. I think she's growing into a real lovely young women." Danny confessed.

"If you say so," NaNa said, trying not to sound agreeable.

You couldn't help but giggle to yourself. You don't why they're changing into nice people, but you like it, and want to keep it that way. You look over at your computer and think about turning it on, but you don't. You continue to listen.

Soon after, your aunt and uncle leave and you walk out of your room and into the kitchen to make some breakfast. You decide to make some scrambled eggs with ketchup on them and some kimbap. You also heat up some water and make put a tea bag in it when it's finished. As you eat your breakfast, you hear a knock on the door. You go to open it and you see Sang Suk, holding a bag of medicine and bandages. You smile and motion him to come in. He places the bag down and waits for you to put away the food. You walk into the living room and sit down on your couch, he follows and sits down next to you.

You roll up your sleeve and Sang Suk takes off your bandages on your arm. He pours rubbing alcohol on a clean bandage and carfully places it on your arm and tapes it. The alcohol stings a little but not alot, he finished with your collar bone and your leg and starts on your face. He carfully uses a cotten swob and dabs the alcohol on your scrapes. You remember how Jung Soo sliced your cheek and forehead with that knife. You still feel the pain when Sang Suk touches it. He finishes and puts some invisible bandaids on your wounds.

"Gamsahabnida," You bowed your head.

"Cheonmaneyo," He replied.

"So, would you like something to eat?" You asked.

"Anio, I need to get going, I have an appointment with some old friends of mine, see you tomorrow." He smiles and walked out of the house. You sigh and turn on the television, finding your favorite drama, City Hunter.

Sehun's Point of View:

I was starting to worry about Hye Rim, she hasn't missed a single day of school since she got here. Now she's suddenly not comming to school, where is she? Is something wrong with her? Is she sick? Aigoo, I can't think this much on an empty stomach.

I walk into the cafeteria and buy my lunch, I sit down next to Luhan and the gang, They're playing Zero, aish, they can be such children sometimes. Well, not sometimes. All the time. But that's why I love them. So while they're giggling and snorting their brains out, I try to study for my math test tomorrow. I don't understand anything on the page, so many formulas. Such a little brain. . . I nudge for Luhan to help, but he's to concentrated in the game.

"Hyung?" I ask.

"Huh?" Luhan isn't even paying attention.

"Can you help me with the test?"

"I don't know, maybe in a few days or so. I'm not sure when they'll call me in to work again."

Like I said, not paying attention. I sigh. Maybe Kris Hyung will help me.

"Yah, Hyung," I walk over to Kris, who is studying as well.

"Ne?"

"Can you help me study?"

"Arreseo, just let me finish this question." He said, speeding through the problem.

I waited for a minute or so and he turned to me, "so what do you need help with?"

"Everything." I complained.

Kris chuckled, "Okay, let me see."

I handed Kris the papers and he explained everything on there, step by step, and giving me problems to work on. I still didn't understand half of the stuff on there, but this was a start. I really need to start paying attention in class more than goofing off with Luhan. As I worked on my problems, I started to think about Hye Rim. I still don't understand why she didn't come today. Should I text her and see if she's okay, or walk over to her place? Before I know it, I'm drawing Hye Rim on my math papers, and Kris notices.

"Hey, is that your girlfriend?"

"Huh?" I say confused, looking down at the paper, then quickly hiding it under my arms, "no, and she's NOT my girlfriend! Hyung, stop teasing me."

"Weh?" He snatches the paper out from under me and I'm fighting to get it back, "hey, guys. Look, Sehun drew his girlfriend Hye Rim. Not bad, I didn't know you could draw, Sehun."

"Hajima! Give it back!" I shout and attempt to grab it from him.

Kai grabs it from him, "woah, Sehun, why didn't you tell us you could draw? I would've been asking you to do my art projects other than D.O. who does a really crappy job at it anyways."

"Hey!" D.O shouted, offended.

"What? It's true," Kai teased, cracking up from the look on D.O's face.

"I don't want to do your assignments," I snapped bitterly. I was furious with them.

Kai's face was a little shocked, he's never seen me this mad before, "Yah, Dongsang, I was only teasing, I didn't mean to upset you."

"Well you did," I yelled, snatching the papers from his hands and storming off. I have no idea where I'm heading, so I guess I'll go over to Hye Rim's and see what's going on with her.

I knock on her door and wait five seconds before opening it and letting myself in, which was a stupid idea. When I opened the door, Hye Rim was looking at me like I was crazy, I'm sorry about that, but I just have a habit of making myself at home. I realise that she has bandages on her cheek, and her forehead. Plus, she's not wearing her usual outfits, like skrits and shortsleeve blouses. She's wearing a rather large hoody, and sweat pants. Her hair in up in a bun and wearing a wide black headband. I almost said she looked like Natelie Portman when she's not doing anything.

"Anyeong," I greet, I should have just said "Hi" because my voice squealed when I said that.

"Hi, um. . . What are you doing here?" She asked, a little frightened.

"I, um. . . Well, I just wanted to drop by, see how you're doing. I haven't seen you at school for the past few days, just wanted to make sure you were alright."

"Yeah, I'm fine. So you can leave now. I don't want you to miss any more school hours." She's pushing me out the door.

I try to stall, "Are you okay? What happened to your cheek? And your forehead?"

"Huh?" She stops pushing, "oh, these? It's nothing, I just fell down some stairs. No big deal."

"Are you alright? Did you hurt yourself anywhere else? Or just your face?"

"No, yeah. Just my face, well. You better go. I wasn't feeling well today, and I don't want to get you sick. So bye- bye!" She pushed me out the door and slammed the door in my face, I heard the door lock.

"I just wanted to hang out with you," I pouted to myself. I hit myself on the head and turned around. Heading back to school.

Your Point of View:

Sehun was the last person you wanted to see today, you didn't want him to see your wounds. He is the worst at timing. You was probably going to go to school tomorrow, couldn't he just wait untill then? He asked where you got my scrapes, You're such a bad liar, but you don't think he noticed anything. Maybe he's just really bad at reading people's faces. You like him, you hate to admit it, but you like him. You just can't let him fall for you, no one has every liked you. You need to stop hanging around Sehun, it's for the best. All you got to do is avoid him, don't talk to him during class, and don't let him sit by you during lunch. And, don't let him walk you home after school.

You wake up the next morning and look at your face wounds in the bathroom. they seem fine, just a litle scartch now. Your lower body, is a different story, they hurt like crazy. You decide to take a quick shower and get dressed. You really hate your school uniform. But it has black leggings, so that will hide your thigh wound. You slip your clothes on as carfully as possible. You walk downstairs and grab your backpack, which is sitting by the front door and walk outside. You make yourway down to he nearest corner corner store and buy a coffee with hazelnut cream and stroll to school, taking your time.

When you open the door to your classroom, Sehun walks over to you.

"You feeling better?" He asked.

"Peachy." You joked.

"I got you something," He saids, bringing a present out from behinf his back.

"You really shouldn't have, really." You sounded kind of excited, but you remembered what you though of yesterday. You clear your throat and open the present. You didn't expect what you saw inside the box, it was a cute little panda bear with your name sewed onto the stomach in litle blue. You blushed. Sehun was smiling like a dork. You look up at him and your smile slowly fades.

"I-" You stammar, "I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to give this back," There's no way I'm gonna fall for him again, "I'm not good at excepting presents."

Sehun frowned, "Wae? Really, keep it."

"No, really. I don't need this."

"But-" He started.

"I said no," You snapped back and handed the panda back. You walked over to your seat and took your backpack off. You feel really bad for yelling at Sehun. but it's for the best. Right?

The teacher walks in and you pay attention to the lecture she has in store today. You try not to look at Sehun, you keep your eyes locked on the teacher. Copying down everything she says. You ran out of paper by the end of class. When the bell rings, you walk straight passed Sehun and quickly walk to your locker, then to the cafeteria. You grab your lunch box and walked to the school garden. It's nice and quiet there, and theres no Sehun to see. You pull out a book and start reading. You pick up your salad and start munching on that along with some carrots. You try to concentrate, but all you can think about is how you rejected his present.

Sehun's Point of View

I was crushed when Hye Rim rejected my present, she seemed so happy about it when I gave it to her. Then her expression changed just like that. Does she not like me or something? Am I pushing this whole "Friend-ship" thing? Or is she just having mood swings? Is it that time of the month again?

I don't feel like eating so I give my food to Tao, who doesn't protest. He already finished his third helping when I gave him mine.

"Yah, Sehun, what's wrong? You're not eating?" Luhan asked you.

"Mm? Oh, I'm fine." You waited several moments, "Hyung?"

"Neh?" He replied.

"I gave Hye Rim a present and she gave it back, why would she do that?"

Luhan smiled gently at me, "What do you think?"

"I don't know, does she not like me or something?

"Sehun, have you seen Hye Rim act shy a lot? Or walk by herself a lot?"

"Neh, but what's this have to do with my present?"

"Pabo," Luhan called me, "she's probably never had anyone care about her before, she's not use to it, or having a friend like you. When you gave her that present, I think she rejected it because she didn't know how to handle that kind of situation. That or she really just doesn't like you," Luhan joked.

"That's not funny," You laughed, "if she really isn't use to this kind of stuff, or me, how do I make her feel comfortable?"

"Ask Kai, he's a ladies man, he'll know what to do."

I nodded, I watched as Tao got up and picked his tray up and went back for more food. How much stuff can he put away?

I watched Hye Rim walking in from the school garden, she looked at me staring at her and quickly looked away and started walking to her locker. I didn't bother running after her, I'll give her time before she's ready to accept my friendship.

The day ended too quickly, everyone ran out of the class room but I stoof put where I was sitting. . . I stayed there for about five minutes then I turned and saw Hye Rim looking at me from her seat. I cleared my throat and grabbed my backpack, I ran out of the room but before I did, I tripped over a chair, I turned to look at Hye Rim, she was holding back a laugh, I couldn't help but smile, then I ran out of the room and the gang outside by the entrance. Kris was dropped off first, then Xuimin, Tao, Suho, D.O., then Chen, It was just me, Kai, Luhan, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, and Lay. Lay, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun were in front of Luhan, Kai, and I, and I told Luhan to go join them, he nodded and I turned to Kai.

"Hyung?" I asked.

"Neh?" He replied.

"How do you make a girl feel comfortable around you? Enough for her to become your friend and accept gifts that you give her?"

"Oh, you talking about Hye Rim? Yeah, Luhan already told me about what happened today. to !"

"Kai!"

"Just kidding, anyways, what you need to do is ask her questions, not everyday every minute kind of thing, just occasionally maybe 5 questions every couple of days. And really listen to what she says, don't start thinking about what Luhan is doing and space out on something important."

"Arraseo, is that it?" I ask.

"Yeah, oh, and don't forget to not get too close to her, stay at least two feet away from her, and don't get too excited when you drink bubble tea around her. She'll think you're weird."

"Hyung, I can't control my bubble tea moments!"

"Well try,"Kai urged.

Kai had gone home, so did everyone else except me, I just dropped Luhan off and decided to the park, it was nice outside and I needed to buy some bubble tea from the store along the way.

When I got my tea and was at the parl, I started walking on the track, my bubble tea was have way full and it started to get dark outside, and a little cold. I pulled my jacket out from my backpack and zipped it up, I finished have way through the park when I saw Hye Rim sitting on a bench in front of me, I slightly smiled, excited to see her. But I didn't know if I should walk up to her or walk passed her.

Hye Rim looks over at you when you sit down at the bench, she grabbs her purse and starts walking away, I get up and start following her, but I kept my distance. I don't think she knows. I want to giver her my jacket, but I don't want to make her feel awkward. Now it was really started to get cold, I could see my breath, and all hye Rim had on was athink longsleeve shirt and a long skirt on, I felt so bad.

Your Point of View:

You can tell that Sehun is following you, you know he's just looking out for you, but it feels awkward, and it is really cold outside. Your wounds are hurting like crazy, even though you're wearing long clothes, the don't help, they're too thin. You need a jacket, you start to feel dizzy, and you feel your stomach getting wet, you reach over and touch it with your hand, you cringe. You revieled your hand which had blood on it. You look at your shirt, it was stained with blood, very red, very wet. You're legs get really heavy and they start to wobble. The next thing you know, you're on the ground about ready to pass out as you hear Sehun's voice calling your name.
