CHAPTER EIGHT

AT THE JUNGS

Front door

-“yul i’m not feeling good” Jessica said placing her head on the back of her head

-“no no no time for chickens now sica come on” Yuri said and open the door of the house

-“i’m serious yul my head hurts” Jessica said walking into the house behind Yuri

-“finally here unnie, it took you longer than usual, are you ok?” Krystal said looking worried at Jessica

-“yeah I just need to go to the bathroom, i´ll be right back” Jessica said and went up stares

-“so yul, any idea why Taeyeon had this with her?” tiffany ask showing the necklace to Yuri

-“you´ll see fany, sica will explain in a bit ok? Mean time here you go” Yuri said and gave tiffany a pink bag

-“oh my god!! It’s the pink dress I wanted from the mall? How did you knew about it?” tiffany said hugging Yuri

-“well, a friend of mine works at that store and she told me you put it on hold so I brought it for you, it’s your b*day after all” Yuri said hugging her back.

10 minutes later Krystal, Yuri and tiffany were sitting in the living room

-“hey you guys knew today was sica´s last day at the hospital?” Yuri said while eating a sandwich made by Krystal

-“nop” they both said in unison

-“the kids were really das and crying while saying goodbye to her and yoona, I honestly don´t know what are we going to do without them” Yuri said

-“oh really? Poor kids, but i’m happy that my Jessi won´t be going there anymore” tiffany said with a big smile

-“speaking of, don´t you think she is taking a little long in there? Maybe she felt asleep in there again, i´ll go and check” Krystal said and went up stares to get Jessica

Krystal knock on the bathroom door for a couple minutes but there was no response, so she tried to open the door but it was locket, she tried calling Jessica’s name and still nothing.

-“YUL UNNIE CAN YOU BRING ME THE KEYS FROM THE DINNER TABLE, I THINK UNNIE FELL SLEEP IN HERE!” Krystal scream to Yuri

-“here you go, really what´s wrong with her, and how she can sleep everywhere” Yuri said in disbelief

-“well we are a good sleeping family unnie” Krystal said opening the door

-“UNNIE!! OMO, CALL AN AMBULANCE!!” Krystal scream in panic

Jessica was lying in the floor with blood in her ears and nose, Krystal pull her up and put her on the couch while Yuri call the 911 and tiffany was froze with the scene. 10 minutes after the ambulance arrived

-“where is she? What happened?” Dr. Kang arrived with the ambulance

-“we don´t know she said her head hurt and went to the bathroom and then we find her like this” Yuri said shaking and holding on to Krystal, and tiffany still frozen

-“well lets go to the hospital now, and I will call Dr. Smith right now, i’m afraid we can´t postpone the surgery any longer” Dr. Kang said and took his cellphone out, while the paramedics took Jessica into the ambulance

-“surgery? Postpone? What are they talking about?” tiffany kept mumbling to herself

10 minutes later they arrived at the hospital the three girls were fallowing behind the Dr. till they reach the ER and couldn´t go any farther, except for Yuri because she was staff of the hospital.

-“Krys you need to call your parents now before is too late” Yuri said before diapering into ER

After 40 minutes without news Yuri finally came out with the doctor, tiffany was in shock not knowing what was going on and Krystal was crying her eyes out thinking the worse.

-“call your parents yet?” Dr. Kang ask Krystal

-“yes I did they already took a plane, they are on their way here now” Krystal said sobbing

-“what happened to unnie” Krystal asked

-“well on last exams we saw only one tumor, but know there´s more than that, we can´t know exactly how many because a few exploited already that’s why she was having a headache and blood on her nose and ears, we put her in a medical induce coma to prevent more damage but she needs surgery right now” Dr. Kang said worried

-“then what are you waiting for do it” Krystal said

-“is not that simple, Jessica’s condition is not a simple one, there is only a few surgeons in the world brave enough to do this surgery, and one of them is flying from London right now to do it, but we still need the consent to do it and blood a lot of it” Dr. Kang replied

-“take mine then” krystal sais lifting her arm

-“we need to do compatibility test first follow me please” Dr. said and krystal obey

-“what the hell is going on here yul? What tumor? What surgery are you talking about?” tiffany finally managed to say

 -“she was going to tell you today Fany, sica has a brain tumor a really hard one to take out and the surgery only gives her a 15% chance of survival, but I guess she delayed for too long and is even more complicated” Yuri said and tears start to roll down her cheeks

-“YURI!! WHERE IS SHE?” yoona ask desperate

-“what are you doing here!!” tiffany ask in an angry tone

-“Fany is not the time or place for that, ok? She is sica´s friend” Yuri said trying to calm her down and took her to the cafeteria

after a few minutes Krystal came out of the lab crying.

-“what happened krys are you ok?” yoona asked

-“unnie needs blood for the surgery and I’m not compatible, i’m not her biological sister yoong unnie!!” Krystal said and hugged yoona

-“maybe it was a mistake, she is your sister krys” yoona said trying to console the younger girl

-“we need to find downers” Dr. Kang said

-“can you test me?” yoona said standing up

-“sure lets go” he said and walk to the lab, 30 minute later yoona was being prepared for the surgery as well because she was compatible.

-“why yoong unnie could donate and I couldn´t” Krystal ask Dr. Kang

-“well sweaty biologically speaking yoona and Jessica are sisters, I don´t know how or why you didn´t know but that is not important now.” He said

A few hours passed by and finally Jessica’s parents and Dr. Smith had arrived; everything was prepared for the surgery, the doctors took Jessica to the OR and start the surgery.

IN THE OR

-“take all the blood you need even if you need to take it all, I will give her my life if that’s the only thing I can do” yoona said while looking at her now know big sister.

-“don´t be silly, you think she would be ok with that? You have a lot to talk after all of this is over.” Dr. Kang said and put yoona to sleep

-“ok Dr. Kang everything is ready, should we begin” Dr. Smith said

Hours were passing and the surgery became even worse Jessica was losing a lot of blood, and they couldn´t find the way to take the last tumor out, in a matter of seconds  Dr. Smith touched something he shouldn´t and Jessica blood pressure start dropping and her heart beat was getting weaker.

-“we are losing her, prepare the defibrillator and get ready for the worse” Dr. Smith said and toke the tumor out. Jessica´s heart stopped and for several minute they tried to bring her back doing compressions and everything they could to make her heart bit again after 10 min. of doing that the Drs. Finally came out of the OR.

The Jung’s, Yuri and tiffany were gathering outside waiting for the news

-“we did everything we could to save her” Dr. Smith said

and remember when i said that i didn´t knew f the story will end sadly or not, well im still wondering about that...
