CHAPTER TWO

" so what do you need sica? did you medicine ran out already?" Yuri said in a worried tone keeping her eyes on her " no is not that,  have you talk to someone about my condition, yoona maybe?" sica asked with a visible frown on her face "no! you told me not to, but why yoona?  did something happen with her?" Yuri said with clear confusion in her face as she agreed against her will to keep the secret of her condition. "Well is just that this morning-" Jessica said remembering..

FLASHBACK

"hi yoong how was your day off? Anything fun?" sica asked Yoona as the sat down by their usual table in the cafeteria " well you see i ate a lots of junk food while sitting in my couch and watch tv all day long, the usual, how about you? anything fun?" yoona sorted back at the older girl as she tasted a sip of her juice box  " well your day was far more interesting than mine i just slept all day long and talked to Krys like always" said sica with a smile in her face as she remembers the silly things she shared with her sister

They started walking to the third floor talking and laughing when suddenly yoona didn't heard sica anymore turning around to face sica she found the girl on the floor, she had passed out without an apparent reason causing yoona to freak out and pick her up taking her to the closest room and call doctor kang, a close doctor to both of them "What's wrong doctor? is she ok?!" yoona asked in panic mode.

- " yeah she is, she just probably forgot to take her medicine this morning, she should wake up soon don't worry" the doctor said looking down at the girl sleeping on the bed “Medicine? is she sick? What is wrong that she would pass out for not taking it?!" yoona asked again with much more concern in her voice "Oh you don´t know, i see you should ask her about it" he said shaking his head at the desperate girl ” please tell me i wanna help her, what is wrong?! Please tell me!!" yoona said with tears in her eyes as she assumed the worst

- “oh yoona don´t cry, you love her don't you?" he said giving the girl a hug feeling the pain of not knowing in the girl's eyes. “yes i do since the moment i met her, please i want to help her in everything i can, i don't wanna sit back when she is not okay" yoona said unable to control her emotions properly " fine i'll tell you but you have to keep the secret she doesn't want anyone to know about it ok?." he said whipping yoona's tears of her cheeks

- " yes i won’t say anything" yoona said with a soft nod keeping her expecting eyes on the doctor "ok then, you see Jessica has a tumor in her brain that is impossible to take out without causing damage, permanent loss of memory or paralysis to say the least, we are giving her painkillers but they won’t work forever you know that right? she doesn't want anyone to know because she doesn't want to be a burden to her loved ones, she wants her life to remain the same till the end" he said. Yoona couldn't hold her tears back but her eyes set on the older girl  " thank you doctor I’ll keep the secret" she said with honesty in her voice as she placed her hand on top of jessica's "ok then i got to go now, see you later" he said patting yoona's shoulder and living the room.

- "I’ll be here sica, I’ll be with you till the end, i love you" yoona said kissing sica´s forehead.

AUTHOR's POV

‘ah my head hurts where am i?’ a confused Jessica sat back against the bed rest rubbing the side of her head ‘damn it! i forgot to take my stupid pills this morning how stupid am i’ her voice comes out like a whisper thinking she was alone before turning to the door just to find Yoona  with a glass of water walking towards her " hi yoong how did i got her what happened?" she asked expressing her confusion.

- " well i would like to know that to sica, you just fainted outside of the room and i put you on the bed, are you ok?" Yoona said with clear worry in her eyes as she can stay quiet but her eyes cannot lie. "yeah i'm ok i just didn't have breakfast in the morning and i guess the smell of medicine and all just made me lose it,"  Jessica said trying to sound convinced. " ok then let’s get to work then" yoona said giving the best smile she could to give the girl the assurance she assumed she seeked .

END OF FLASHBACK

- " and since the moment we start working she was all the time asking me if i was ok, carrying everything for me, giving me food all day long, do you think she suspects something is wrong with me? “Sica asked with  a light worried expression being evident in her face "i don't think so, yoona just cares about you, you know? i think she just got surprised  when you fainted and she tried to prevent that from happening again " Yuri said pretty much convinced and trying to reassure her friend

" yeah you're probably right, I’m gonna go now I’m really tired, see you tomorrow yul," sica said before waving good bye to her best friend " see you later sica" Yuri said as she salutes at her with two fingers over her forehead watching the girl get further and further until she was completely out of her sight

" it´s getting worse sica, this is the second time in a week, what will i do without you? i should've confess to you when i had the chance to do so, now all i can do is be you´re friend, stupid yul you should've confess before tiffany maybe everything would have being different now," Yuri said while looking at the moon.
