“Whatever elmo. Annyeong!” Seohyun wave at him as she rode her big bike, kicking it to life and the motor roared angrily, she sped off in a fast speed that she quickly disappeared, the darkness eating her whole.

“Ne!” the civilian saluted as they scattered into their assigned places.

“Let’s see if you can go out of here alive” Lee Dong Wook smirked while looking at his sharp knife with LDW engraved at the bottom of the knife.

“One, Two, Three, Four… Hmmm. They’ve been expecting someone” she was at the dark side of the abandoned building, crouching at the bush near the entrance.

“Let’s see” she studied the four guards, two of them were patrolling while the other two were guarding the entrance.

“I need to pee!!” one of the guys said

“Nado!”

“Aish! you two!”

“We’ll be quick hyung! Promise!”
“Ahrasseo Ahrasseo! Palli!”

“Ne!”

“I’ll be the one to patrol first, you stay here. Just shoot once if you see an intruder ahrasseo?”

“Ne hyung!”

One of the two guys started walking around the building, while the other one plugged his earphones in both ears, bobbing his head up and down enjoyably

Slowly, she crawled at the ground, aiming to go at the back of the building, making sure that the patrolling guard won’t see her. Luckily, she saw a back door with a red storage sign written in red bold letters. Slowly, she opened it and saw an endless hallway. She looked around first before stepping inside.

Her heart almost stopped when she heard a familiar voice that sent chills down her spine

“AAAAH!” her system became alarmed, whips and groans echoed through the hallway, torturing her every step she takes.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAH!” she flinched as she heard the skin hitting sound

“Is that all you can get?” said the man with a deep voice

“I told you. You can do anything with me, but don’t you even dare lay your filthy hands off her!”

“Ohhhh! Sweet!” said the man sarcastically

You pabo! She was mentally hitting him in the back of her mind

“You said it yourself, here we go”

“AAAAAAAAAH!”

BLAG!

She almost ran to the room upon hearing the loud thud sound right after the whip was painfully touched his skin

She shook her head to shake of the tension she’s feeling. Slowly, she pulled out her gun.

“Do it one more time and I’ll blow your head off!” she said, glaring at the man who was torturing the blooded man that was now sprawled on the cold cement floor

“Hello there lady” the man smiled at her maliciously

“Put it down” she drawled

“What? My jeans? Ok” the man was about to unbuckle his belt when she shot the gun few centimeters from him that made the man froze

“Kneel! Put your hands at your back!” she shouted. The man obeyed her within few seconds

Yonghwa who was on the verge of being unconscious was looking at Seohyun worriedly

“Oh no babe. Don’t look at me like that when I’m the one who’s supposed to look at you like that” she grinned at him while he tried to smile back but failed to move a muscle in his face for it was stinging quite bad

“Hi” he whispered huskily

“Hi yourself” she rolled her eyes and snorted

“Oh wow. You look more stunning that the last time I saw you” said a masculine voice that appeared beside her out of the blue

“Hi sweety, miss me?” the man put his arms at her small back and was about to pull her closer, but she was fast enough to move to Yonghwa’s side

“Hello to you too Lee Dong Wook” she smirked as she saw his eyes look at her with pure lust

“Come to me sweety, I’ve missed playing with you”

She heard the man beside her growl, when she looked at him, he was glaring at her and back to the man whom she was talking to

“For work purposes” she shortly explained but Yong stubbornly turned his gaze away from her

“Tss.choding!” she playfully glared at him before kneeling down at his level, she grabbed him at the back of his neck and pulled him for a deep searing kiss

But they abruptly stopped when out of a sudden, they heard a gunshot

“You’re an eyesore” Lee Dong Wook said, glaring at them

“Stop being jealous” she smirked evilly. She intertwined her hands with Yong, squeezing it tight as if telling him that everything will be alright

 “I need your help babe” she whispered, while distracting Lee Dong Wook. “At the end of the alley beside this abandoned building, there’s a van waiting, go there and tell them to go to the Agency fast. Go and look for Minhyuk And tell him 02-11-10”

“What does it mean?”

“Just tell him that, he’ll understand.”

“I won’t leave you!”

“You won’t. you’re gonna help me”

“Let’s go together”

“Pabo! How? Go first and run as fast as you can! Ahrasseo?”

“You can’t do this Seo Joo Hyun”

“You can do it Jung Yong Hwa. I trust in you”

“Hyun!”

“Yong. When I say run, run fast and don’t ever look back. Okay? I need you to go there and help me. There’s another van just beside this building that’ll back me up once you go out of here so you need not to worry yonghwa-yah”

“Yah! You-“ he pinched the bridge of his nose “How can you show some aegyo infront of other man?!”

“YAH! YOU TWO! STOP BEING LOVEYDOVEY I SAID!” Lee Dong Wook was now raging with jealousy

“Oh come on. Stop acting like a madman would you?” Seohyun stood up and slowly approached him, one of her hand was at her back, counting from 5 to 1, giving Yong his timing

When her fingers reached to, a loud bang resonated around the room, followed by a loud grunt. It happened so fast. He saw Lee Dong Wook kneeling at the floor, nursing his wounded leg.

“Damn you!!” Cried Dong Wook while glaring at her

“GO!” Shouted Seohyun who was snatching the gun from Dongwook’s grasp

He his heel and ran away from them, praying repeatedly for Hyun’s safeness.

“Follow him!” was what he last heard before he successfully ran away from the place.

But then, he wasn’t lucky enough. Continuous gun shots was heard, it was getting louder and louder. He was panting really hard,

He woke up with loud gunshots, screaming and cursing men.

“Go and get him! Before Agent Seo kill us all!” The commanding voice said

“Yes sir!” he heard footsteps, there’s lots of people in the room

His head was still spinning, his sight was still blurry. He felt himself being lifted

“Who are you??” he struggled but he’s too weak to fight them

“Stop screaming like a sissy! Damn. What did Agent Seo saw in you?? I’m better than you!” He badly wanted to punch the guy who was supporting him, if only he have the strength to.

He woke up at the back of the moving van. counting to three to ease his dizziness, but he can’t move even a bit of muscle because of his wounds

“Are we going to bring him there?”

“Yeaah, agent Seo said we need to.”

“I really don’t get it. I mean, Agent Seo seems to be too cold to love, I almost gave up on her thinking that she’s not interested in love and yet that bloody guy appeared, proving me that she already loves someone since a long time ago.”

“Yah! You have feelings for her too?!”

“Chansung hyung! No one can resist her! I mean, who on their right mind won’t get attracted to her? She’s a walking package! She has the goddess-like appearance, she’s attractive in all aspect, she’s beauty and brain, and most of all, damn, she’s freaking hot! AWW!”

“Yah! Stop that y thoughts N! You are not supposed to think of her that way! You!”

He was gritting his teeth. he badly wanted to beat the crap out of the two fanboys of her.

How can they spazz over her like a hormonal teenager?! Is she some kind of a performer to have that crazy fanboy?!

Suddenly, the van stopped at a secret place.

“Get him.” The older man instructed

“Ne chansung hyung!” He pretended to be still unconscious, he felt the door opened and suddenly, the guy who’s another maniac fanboy of her came in, pulling him off the vehicle.

 “Bring him to Minhyuk”

“Ne!”

They came in a spacious room, with few open monitor computer. Yonghwa decided to give up his acting and opened his eyes to look around.

“Oh? You are Seo Joo Hyun’s namja right?” He saw a young man wearing a white coat walking towards him. He nodded proudly. He can feel invisible daggers slowly piercing him, digging a big hole at his back. Some are whispering and snickering

“I’m Kang Min Hyuk, Seohyun’s best friend.”

“Jung Yong Hwa, Seo Joo Hyun’s long-time boyfriend” he smirked, even though his wound hurts

“tss. Show off!” he glared at her maniac fan boy named N

“Nice to meet you Yonghwa-ssi” the guy smiled at him, showing him his eyesmile

“Where’s Joohyun??” it dawned on him.

“Calm down Yonghwa-ssi. Joohyun is strong enough to-“

“SHE HAVEN’T COME BACK YET?!” his heart began to beat faster, he suddenly felt scared

“We need to go back!!” he was trashing hysterically

“We can track her!” Minhyuk said, rushing in front of the computer. He typed few codes and the red dot in the computer started to move

“MWOYA!” Minhyuk looked alarmed

“Oh boy! This ain’t good! It’s the first time I saw him this bothered” whispered N to Chansung. Yong heard it and waled closer to Minhyuk

“Yonghwa-ssi! Have you, by any chance been touched by joohyun when she saved you?!” Minhyuk was seemingly more restless as time passed by

“N-ne. waeyo?”

“Where?!”

He touched his lips “here” he heard her fanboys groaned and cursed out loud. Even though he feel scared he can’t help but to rejoice deep-inside

“Where else?!”

“WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ASKING IT?!” Chansung rage

“here” he touched his chest

“man! You’re obviously showing off!”

“SILENCE!!” Minhyuk glared at the two man who’s fuming with jealousy

“Bastard” the two cursed while glaring at Yonghwa

“anywhere else?!”

“S-should I show you? I m-mean.. I-it’s a bit awkward if I t-touch it. y-you know-“ Yonghwa coughed shyly

“WHAT THE ?!” he laughed evilly inside him after he heard the door shut loudly

“Ok. Now that you childishly won with your tactics let’s get into business. Yonghwa-ssi”

He pointed at his cheeks

“Let me see!”

Minhyuk looked at the back of his ear and saw the tracking device he gave to her awhile ago

“That stubborn woman!” he sighed “So it’s you that I traced a while ago.”

“She told me to tell you 021110”

“eh? Jinjja? Are you serious?!”

“yes. She told me that”

“follow me then.”

They reached a room where the number 021110 was carved at the door

“here” Minhyuk gave him the key

Yonghwa inserted it to the keyhole, once it was clicked minhyuk stepped backward

“I’ll leave you for a while Yonghwa-ssi.”

“Thanks Minhyuk-ssi”

But just before he entered the room, Minhyuk called him again

“Trust in her Yonghwa-ssi. She knows what she’s doing” but before he asked furthermore, Minhyuk signaled him to come in.

What welcomes him inside was their big picture at the head of the bed. Seohyun was sitting leisurely at his lap, their hands entwined, and they were kissing.

He moved closer to examine it, thinking that he’s just imagining things

They shot it years ago, when they were still together. It was one of the happiest days of their life.

“Seo Joo Hyun” he caressed her picture, looking at it longingly

He walked to her desk and THE unforgettable red box, once he opened it, a tear escaped his eyes.

=Flashback=

It was a year after she left him. He was walking mindlessly at the crowded street where they used to always stroll every afternoon          

He keeps on walking, without knowing where to go. It’s been a year yet he can’t even move on, everyday, memories of her haunted him. Just like that, ever since the day she left him, he died. His heart died… He felt exhausted, dead tired, soulless, that day she leave, she took his heart with her.

He keeps on reminiscing, oblivious to where he is

He stopped on his tracks as he heard the familiar sound of the rusty swing they used to play with.

“Seo Joo Hyun” there she was, facing her back on him, looking at the distance, sighing every now and then.

“Seo Joo Hyun” his tears escaped uncontrollably

He was too afraid that she might disappear. He rushed to where she is and hugged her from behind

“Seo Joo Hyun! It’s really you!” his voice broke, his body shaking

“Oh God. I thought I would never see you again.”

“Yong” he heard her sweet soft voice he missed so damn much

Her hands traveled to his arms to his hands, thinking that she’ll hold it. But his heart broke as he felt her untangled his arms that was hugging her securely

“Yong” he saw tears cascaded down her face

He gave her a red box

“here! I knew I’ll find you here” he smiled to his heart’s content. Trying so hard to ease the pain that was slowly and deeply piercing his heart.

“Yong”

“Open it! Palli! Palli!” his tears falling continuously, he was wiping it, preventing it not to fall anymore. He was trying his hardest to smile, albeit his cheeks hurt

She sighed. lowering her gaze as she slowly opened the box

“Marry me” he knelt at the ground, looking up at her “I’ll help you with everything. Share your pain. Please. Marry me Seo Joo Hyun. I can’t live without you.” He doesn’t care if he’s begging for her to say yes, he doesn’t care about his pride, his ego, his dignity,

“Yong, stand up. Please” her voice croaked

“Wae? Wae are you crying? I know you’re touched. say yes oh? Say yes baby, please. Just please” his legs was wobbly, his lips shaking

“Mian Yong.” She was biting her lips “Please stand up!”

He stood up, but won’t release her in his arms

“Let go of me Yong”

“Why are you doing this?” he felt helpless

“I’m sorry”

“Atleast keep this with you.” He reached for her hands and shoved the box to her open hands. “Keep this with you, if you keep this, It means I still have a chance on you, we still have a chance to be together, if not now, then in the future.”

“I’m sorry Yong”

“STOP SAYING SORRY WILL YOU?! I’M SCARED! EVERYTIME YOU SAY THAT, I CAN’T HELP BUT TO THINK THAT YOU’LL KICK ME OUT OF YOUR LIFE IN ANY MINUTE!”

She reached for his hands and gave him back the box

“Be happy.” She smiled at him “Be happy without me.”

“THIS IS BULL HYUN! HOW CAN I BE HAPPY IF MY HAPPINESS IS YOU!? ONLY YOU SEO JOO HYUN! ONLY YOU!”

“You’ll find another girl who’s better than me”

“No.If it’s not you, then I rather choose living ALONE.”

He his heel.  he bit his lower lip hard that he can taste a faint of blood.

Don’t cry Jung Yong Hwa!

He walked without looking back at her, he walked passed a garbage can and threw the red box, forgetting it. Forgetting the worst rejection he received.

“From now on, don’t look for me. We’re done”

He closed his eyes tightly as he heard her say it.

“I was about to walk out of here with a tiny piece of unbroken heart left, but it seems like I’m walking out without unbroken pieces left. You’re heartless Seo Joo Hyun. Yet, I still love you.”

=END OF FLASHBACK=

“She kept it” he said shakily, he can’t stop himself from smiling

It gave him strength. he stood up and ran, wanting to go back for her.

“What the hell??!” he keeps on twisting the knob but it won’t open. It’s locked outside

“Somebody open this door!!” he keeps on banging the door but nobody is answering

“Minhyuk-ssi! Open this door! Chansung! N!”

“I’m sorry Yonghwa-ssi. But please, trust her”
