Chapter 9: Hook and Wendy

---At the Resort---

EXO had already finished all their chores and they are now chilling by the pool. Kai and Krystal have been inseparable since Krystal revealed she was Tink. Kai, although he was near her, doubted her. He didn’t smile often with her because he thought that there were many holes in her story. Baekhyun went to see you, only to find an empty room being cleaned out by the housemaid.

“Wait, isn’t there someone in this room?” Baekhyun asks the maid.

“No sir. She left early this morning while all of you were down at the gardens cleaning up,” she answers then bows and leaves to clean again. Baekhyun goes down to EXO, disappointed and worried about you not being there.

“Where’s Han Chae-ssi?” Chen asks.

“She left early. Did any of you see her leave?” Baekhyun asks.

“Han Chae left early?” Kai asks, suddenly interested in the topic of conversation.

“Yea…” Baekhyun keeps his eyes on his phone while he answers Kai.

“Why? Is she okay? Did something bad happen to her? Was she sick? Where is she now?” Kai bombards Baekhyun with questions.

Baekhyun and Kyrstal eye Kai with suspicion.

“Why are you so curious?” Baekhyun interrogates Kai.

“Yea. Why are you so giddy to know everything about her?” Krystal joins in.

“I’m just…Worried! That’s all. She did stay at the resort with us, so I was just wondering if the resort fed her something that wasn’t good for her or something,” Kai makes something up to cover his show of concern for you. Kai gets up to go to the restroom.

Baekhyun goes up to Krystal and sits next to her.

“What do you want?” Krystal asks bossily.

“An explanation. You’re not Tinkerbell, so how did you know about it?” Baekhyun catches Krystal off guard by asking her his question.

“Wh-what are you talking about? I am Tink. You wouldn’t know anything,” Krystal takes a sip of her drink nervously.

“I would know because I know who Tink is. Who Tink really is,” Baekhyun glares at her.

“Fine! What do you want me to do? Tell Kai? Like that’s gonna happen,” Krystal slams her drink on the table.

“No. Don’t tell him. I want you to keep it up. I like Han Chae-ssi and Kai is the only thing keeping her from being mine,” Baekhyun takes the drink that Krystal put down and drinks from it. He leaves her in awe of what she just heard.

Krystal raises an eyebrow and smiles, “Alright then.” Kai comes back from the restroom. Thinking he was going to her, Krystal smiles and waves her hand, but he just went straight to the pool to play with his friends. Krystal coughs, puts on her sunglasses and sits back.

---EXO went back home later that day. The next day you guys have school---
