At last came the pleasant rains after the hot summer. And Kris suddenly decided to take the whole family for

a small vacation.

"We are all going for a vacation." Kris revelaed while we were having dinner.

"Yaay....!!" Meifin was the first one to shout.

"Where..?" Ronica looked up and asked him. "I am not gonna go to the mountains...I warn ya."

"I know you become sick and in this condition, obviously I am not taking you there. We will be going to

Busan by car, and stop in the middle once for a break. I have already booked a pension near the beach.

Don't worry, I have made sure you both will be comfortable." Kris said, patting Ronica's tummy.

Without even telling anyone about it, he had prepared everything, from the location to the pension. When

Meifin and Dingxiang were told about it, their excitement knew no bounds. It had actually been a long time

siince all of them had gone out.

Before the kids went to sleep, Ronica packed their bags and then they packed their own bags. Kris made

sure Ronica packed her necessities. Now that her belly was quite big, she was having a little problem. Her

juices and fresh fruits had been packed separately. A lot of water had been packed. Finally they were ready

for the trip.

Next day the weather was too good. Slightly sunny with little clouds. A slight breeze made the air feel good.

It was a perfect day. Kris put all the luggage behind, taking the necessities in front, and then he adjusted the

seat for Ronica's comfort, they headed for Busan. 

The journey, although long, was fun. Meifin and Dingxiang continuously kept fighting for the toys and chips.

Meifin hated sharing and Dingxiang would take it from her only.

But Ronica kept shifting uncomfortably on her seat.

"What's wrong..??" Kris asked worried.

"Hmm..my back. It's hurting."

"Shall I adjust the seat for you? Or you want to sit at the back?"

"No..it's ok."

"Tell me. Or wait....we will soon reach the Rest Area. Bear till then ok."

Within 20 minutes of time, Kris drove into a large Rest Area near the highway. The kids immediately ran out

of the car. Kris helped Ronica get out carefully. She cringed slightly. Holding her, they enterd the restaurant.

Meifin and Dingxiang were playing with the fountain outside.

"Pabo's come inside. What are you doing there?" Kris ran outside, seating Ronica.

"Dad....careful...!!" Meifin shouted and splashed  a handful of water on him. Dingxiang followed suit.

"YAAAY....want to get a bashing? Come inside..." Kris kept running behind the children and they ran away.

After one round around the fountai, Kris caught Meifin by her waist and then Dingxiang too and picking them

up, he brought them inside.

"Sit beside mom now." He placed Meifin beside Ronica.

"You guys don't stop being naughty na..."

When it was time to place the orders Ronica as usual ordered a glass of orange juice.

"Won't you eat anything? I won't let you have only a glass of juice Ronica. A bowl of noodles also please."

"Kris...I might feel sick."

"Stop fearing and eat. We have a lot of time. After the lunch we can have a small walk. Everything will be

fine. Now eat."

The lunch arrived and thankfully the children finished their food without much fuss. Ronica ate slowly and

when lunch was over she went for a walk around the garden of the hotel. The kids chased their father again,

because he had taken their soft toy.

A lovely family Ronica had, sitting on the swing, she saw her family. When she felt better, her back ache

subsided, they decided to resume their journey.

The kids were tired by now and had dozed off behind. Ronica felt much comfortable in her seating

positionmuch more comfortable. Kris drove at peace now.

When they reached Busan, near the beach, all were too tired. Kris quitely took out the luggage and took

them inside. Ronica had woken up so she woke the kids so that they could all go inside. They were still

drowzy.

When Ronica entered the pension, she was amazed. The place was beautiful and so spacious. There was a

huge drawing room and the bedrooms were upstaris. The balcony faced the beach and the scene at that time

was mesmerizing. The sun was setting.

Kris was happy that they all loved it. They all freshened up one by one. The kids were back to their hyper

self once again, playing and throwing things here and there.

Kris was so tired that he went to sleep immediately....
