All were staring at Kris. He was acting like a baby right now. And then the whole group burst out laughing.

 

"Hyung....stop acting like a child. We are sorry we did all this. Now go upstairs and change and come down fast.

We are hungry hyung." Tao whinned.

 

"We are sorry that we had been like this with you today. Seriously sorry."

 

Kris did not say anything more. He did a mehrong to everyone and then ran upstairs to change. Meifin and

Dingxiang brought the cards they had made themselves. All were waiting patiently for Kris to come down..

 

When Kris came down, Ronica was mesmerized and so were his friends. He was looking so freaking handsome.

He was wearing formals, and looked the most handsome and charming person in the whole world.

 

"Woah...Ronica...he is looking so handsome. Great choice with the clothes."

 

"Thanks." Ronica took pride in her choice. She was the one who had bought the dress specially for his birthday.

 

"Okay...so everyone....let's start the party."

 

Everyone gathered around the centre and once again, the birthday song was sung for him. Kris cut the cake and the

first bite was given to Ronica, then to Meifin and Dingxiang. The kids then gave their cards to their beloved father.

 

"Happy birthday dad...!!" Dingxiang said.

 

"Happy birthday daddy." Meifin gave a huge smile and gave her card.

 

"Thank you...!! Now a kiss on my cheeks both of you." Both of them went to either side of him and gave him a

peck each.

 

The food and drinks were already served. All of them sat down together and started their long gossip. They were all

meeting after a long time together.

 

Ronica was near the serving table, serving drinks to everyone. As soon as Baekhyun had finished eating, she called

him for help.

 

"Baekhyun...help me please. Serve the drinks to your friends no..!!"

 

"Sure...!!" He ran to her and took the tray. After giving all his friends a drink each, he came back to her. Ronica was

making more drinks. Baekhyun went and stood beside her bringing and making drinks with her.

 

"So...how are you and hows your new member?"

 

"Both of us are fine."

 

"Kris is taking good care of you na....or should I scold him?"

 

"Dare you even touch him. He is the best hubby I ever got."

 

"He is a ert forever...and you too. My goodness...I still am amazed ho you two are so similar."

 

"We are a match made in heaven...see...our little happy family."

 

"Little...ohh please...don't call your family little."

 

Ronica hit him on his shoulder and then both of them started laughing.

 

Kris was busy with his friends, but still he had seen the two laughing and giggling together. Immediately he got

jealous. He gulped down his drink in a go and went to her.

"I need a drink...Baekhyun...make me one please. Ronica....Kyungsoo needs more noodles. Go and give him na."

He told them.

 

Ronica was about to go when Baekhyun held her hand and stopped her.

 

"I am going, you make the drink for him. You shouldn't be moving about much." And Baekhyun went away. Kris

saw that.

 

"Here is your drink and this is the last one. You ain't having more."

 

"Why....what's wrong with more drinks? You are enjoying with Baekhyun....have a good time with him." He took his

drink, made a face and left.

 

Ronica knew that scornful expression. He was jealous of Baekhyun once again and as always. Baekhyun came

back again.

 

"Ronica...what's wrong...?? Any problem?"

 

"He is jealous again." Ronica told him.

 

"Uff...as usual. When does he not get jealous? Fine...I am going to have a chat with them. You don't overwork

yourself."

 

Four hours of partying was soon over. All had enjoyed themselves thoroughly and so had Kris. The kids were

already tired so they had already gone to sleep. Soon the whole thing was wrapped up.

 

Ronica was changing her dress when Kris entered. Wordlessly, he started opening his coat.

 

"Did you like the arrangement? I had planned everything you know. Avie also helped me alot. How was it?"

 

"It was nice." That's the only thing he said.

 

"Kirs..what's wrong?"

 

"Nothing. Nothing's wrong. What will be wrong?"

 

"You are still jealous of Baekhyun...isn't it?"

 

"No..not at all...who told you?"

 

"Kris...we are best friends...and then he is your friend too. He was just helping me."

 

"Did I say anything? I did not. Then?"

 

"We are married for 6 years Kris. I think you should, by now be casual about it"

 

"He was too close to you." That's what he said the next moment. "He shouldn't have come to you in the first place.

He knows that I get jealous."

 

"Who knew you would get jealous till now? You were busy, with your friends and others. He just came to help. It's

high time you understand." Ronica told him calmly.

 

"Okay....fine. I shouldn't have got jealous. But next time, you will not get anywhere around him, promise me that."

 

"What's gotten into you Kris? So childish. You are behaving like a love-sick teenager. Okay, I promise, I will not go

around Baekhyun, and if I go near him, you will be with me."

 

"That's like my girl. What was that long speech for?" He came closer to Ronica and gave her a warm kiss on her

lips. "Now where is my gift?"

 

"Your gift...?? Wait." She went to the cupboard and brought out a box. "Here. Open it."

 

"This...?? Okay."

 

Kris opened the box. It was a pendant, a diamond wing pendant.

 

"Waahh...it's beautiful. And the second piece?"

 

"I will wear it." Ronica said with a smile. "Let me put it for you."

 

Kris turned around and helped Kris wear the necklace. Then he put the necklace in Ronica's neck. Both of them

looked at the mirror.

 

"Lovely." Kris exclaimed. The diamonds shone beautifully in the light. " This is the best birthday I ever had."

 

Both went to bed. Ronica's back ache had started once again. She could not sleep.

 

"Ronica...are you fine?"

 

"My back Kris. I can't sleep."

 

"Wait...let me help you." He got up and brought some warm water for her to put it on her back. Putting his arm

under her head, making her comfortable.

 

Kris then ran his hands over her belly. He got up and put is ear on her tummy.

 

"Baby...my little girl...appa is waiting for you to come to this world. Come fast.:" And he kissed her tummy.

Kris slowly her tummy, and she soon drifted of to sleep. He too went off to sleep, hugging Ronica.

This is the pendant that I gifted to Kris in the fic. I freaking love the pendant. When he was wearing it, instead of him, I was looking at the pendant. It was really beautifully.
