"Omma...!!" Dingxiang came running to Ronica just after coming from school.

 

"What happened?" Ronica turned around, making him sit on the table.

 

"Omma...teacher told us to make a chart for the weekend. See..." Ronica took the diary from her son's hand and

read the details aloud.

 

"Class Project- Make a chart titled "MY FAMILY." Put pictures of your family members and write something about

them."

 

"Okay..!! So this is your project. Fine. We will make it tomorrow. Now go and do your homework, omma will

come and check."

 

Without wasting much time, Ronica immediately texted Kris who was out grocery-shopping.

 

"Bring a chart paper, glue, glitters, paints and whatever you think is required to make a chart."

 

Kris did as told. He brought whatever he thought was needed to make a chart nice and beautiful. He bought paints,

sketch pens, glitters, scissors, extra tape and whatever deemed fit to him. He was about to go home with the things

when it suddenly struck him...

 

"..I forgot the chart paper."

 

 

Kris stood there and frantically rang the door-bell. What was taking Ronica so much time to open the door?

 

"Ufff...can't you wait? I was coming."

 

"So many things, how could I wait? I brought things for the chart. What do you need them for?" Kris asked, placing

the other groceries on the table.

 

"Dingxiang's weekend project. His teacher told them to make a family chart."

 

"Waahh..sounds interesting."

 

"We need pictures too. We have individual pictures right...?" Ronica asked him.

 

"Hmm..must be there somewhere, where can it go?" Kris said, while placing the things on the table.

 

"Stupid, we need to look for them then. Arrange the stuff. I am in the room looking for the pictures." Opening the

apron she went up to their room.

 

When she opened the room, it was a mess. Ronica had no idea when Meilin had woken up, all the clothes on the

bed was thrown down and she was crawling towards the dressing table, just about to drop the perfume bottles to

the floor...

 

"Meilin....bad girl..stop there." Ronica ran towards her and in the process fell down on the floor, hurting her hand.

But thankfully Meilin had stopped.

 

"Naughty girl..can't you sit in one place?" She raised her up and put her back in her crib. Meilin was a very active

kid and what she loved was to drop things. Anything and everything that came into her hands went crashing down

to the floor.

 

"What happened?" Kris was panting. He had heard the commotion,

 

"Nothing, I fell...!!" Ronica told him. She was rubbing her wrist. It was paining.

 

"Let me see." Kris took her hand in his hands.

 

"Ouch...!!" Ronica squeeled.

 

"It has swollen. Seems serious. Wait." He put some ointment and then wrapped her wrist with craape bandage.

 

"Don't move it much okay...!! I am looking for the pictures and will arrange the clothes."

 

"Okay..." She did not fuss. It was an unusual scene to see her husband actually working. She could take rest now.

Ronica went to Dingxiang to check his homework.

 

"What's wrong with yoy Meilin? See..omma got hurt because of you. Don't be so naughty okay." Kris took her into

his arms and tickled her tummy. She chuckled. He then went to work.

"Kris...bring Meiling down. She needs to be under total survelliance. What she will do in the room, no one knows."

 

"Okay...!!"

 

Ronica was setting everything up for the chart. She checked whether everything was there in front of her. The

photos, the things he brought yesterday, everything was there. Now she would begin making the chart.

 

Kris set Meilin on the sofa, whereas the others sat down on the floor, helping Ronica in making the chart.

 

"Carefull with your hand okay...!!" Kris warned her once.

 

"How shall we begin this....hmmm..." Ronica took the brown color and wrote the title and then colored it with

glitters. One by one she took the photos and put it up. On top she put the family photo which had recently taken

with Meilin in it. Then the individual members starting with Kris.

 

"Dingxiang, pass me your picture and Meifin, hold the chart paper here."

 

All got busy doing there respective jobs. Kris was sitting and painting the letters. Meilin was sitting quitely in the

beginning but then she saw the paints kept beside Kris.

 

Since all were busy no one saw her what she was doing. Taking the green colored bottle she first tried putting her

fist inside, but she couldn't put it inside. She then put her finger inside it and smeared it with paint.

 

"Where is the green color Dingxiang? Give it to me."

 

"I don't have it. appa."

 

"Where did it go then..??" He turned around and saw the bottle in Meilin's hands, smeared in green.

 

"Meilin...no...not in your mouth...!!" Kris went to take the bottle from her when she put her fingers on Kris' face.

 

"Ohh no...Meilin...!!" Kris pouted in front of her. "Just see what you did."

 

Meilin started laughing, seeing Kris like that. When he turned around, Ronica and her kids saw him.

 

"haaahaaahaa....appa....you look soo cute." Meifin squeeled.

 

"Shut up..!!" He was feeling embarrassed. Kris took the red color, took a little paint on his finger and put it on

Meilin's nose.

 

"There you go...heehee...!!" Kris looked at her and laughed.

 

But Meilin did not seem to like it. She started simpering..and then broke into tears...

 

"uhuhhhhhnnmnmmmwaaahah...!!"

 

"Kris...you made the kid cry."

 

"What...my fault again..she put paint on me first."

 

"Shut up and finish the writing, then it will be over." Ronica took Meilin in her laps and took her to the kitchen.

Taking a tissue, she wiped her nose and her fingers...

 

"Always being naughty..."

 

Taking more tissues, she headed to the drawing room where the rest of them were there.

 

"Kris...here."

 

"What...??" He looked up. Ronica went and wiped his cheek with the tissue. Meilin wanted to do it too. She gave a

tissue to her and she too wiped Kris' cheek.

 

"Heehehee.." she chuckled. Kris rubbed his nose with her.

 

Putting her back on the sofa, they gave the last touches to the family chart. It was done with everyone's help. And

even Meilin participated today. In the end, Kris smeared some paint on her nads and she placed it on the empty

spaces of the chart filling it up.

 

The chart looked lovely and it was done.

Sorry guys...I have my exams from tomorrow. So I am not updating any of my fics right now. I don't know when will I update my fics next...so please wait patiently for a while...for this and for all my fics...!!!
