My in laws decided to postpone their arrival till Meilin's first birthday. Kris recovered properly too. It was time for

us to celebrate Meilin's Doljanchi.

Early in the morning we heard the door-bell. I got up to open the door. Kris' whole family was there. His father,

mother and elder sister. They had brought all the traditional stuff that was required for the celebration. In the

afternoon the rest of his friends and would arrive and then we would start with the main event.

Meilin had grown up and changed alot in the year. She was now a little more chubbier and fairer, like her father. She

had lovely hair, which was rare in year old babies.

"Aigoo, she looks exactly like Ronica, her eyes and cheeks are the same. But she got Kris' colour, nice, fair and

snowy." And she pressed Meilin's cheeks.

Meilin enjoyed the company of the new members in the house and was being an extremely good girl. She became

instantly close to her grandmother and aunt but she started crying when his father took her in his lap.

Ronica and her mother-in-law with his sister immediately changed and went to the kitchen to make rice cakes and

seaweed soup. Kris sat down cutting the fruits for the occasion. The best thing was that it was a weekend and all

were free.

Meilin was elated and extremely jumpy. Even Meifin and Dingxiang were very excited. Dingxiang wore a cute t-shirt

and trousers and Meifin wore a beautiful frock. Kris' mother had brought the hanbok, a white and pink one. It was

the best I had ever seen. The house was then cleaned and soon it was time for us to dress up and prepare

everything.

One by one the guests started coming. Avie and Chanyeol came with their year and 7 month old twins. Meilin was

put between them, all together. They immediately started playing with all the toys. Then came Kyungsoo, Jongdae

and Jongin. Yixing, Junmyeon and Minseok were next to come. Luhan, Sehun and Tao came together.  At last

Ronica's best friend Baekhyun entered with his ever so pretty girlfriend, Angel. She was officially introduced to

everyone in the party as Baekhyun's fiance. They would be getting married in 3 moths time and today he invited all

of them.

All the members then sat down and Meilin was placed in front of the table, where we had kept 4 things, a book, a

money bag, a mike, some soil and a fruit bowl. All were anticipitating would she would choose.

"I am sure she will choose the mike. She will be a singer. I am 100% sure." Kris said.

"I hope she chooses money. Let her have all the wealth in the world."

"Meilin-ah...choose the book. It's the best..." Baekhyun shouted.

Her little eyes scanned every object nicely and then...she kept her hands on the money bag.

"There you go...I know my daughter best...!! May Go bless you with all the world in the world." Ronica took Meilin

in her lap and kissed her.

"I think she chose that for it's looks. Out of all the things there, this looks the most colorful..." Kris was using his

logic.

"The book is the most colorful thing there...if she went for looks, it had to be the book." Ronica said. "You lost

no...now keep your mouth shut and help me with the guests."

"Nopes...wait...!!" Jongdae creeped up behind us. "It's time for the family photo....!!!"

Ronica and Kris came together for the first picture with Meilin. They hugged her and then gave a peck on her

cheek. Next all of them sat down and Meifin and Dingxiang joined them all. All the kids had individual pictures with

Meilin. The whole family of 5 then came together and took a picture.

Meilin then was given her cute pororo birthday cake to cut. First looked at the cake carefully, looking at it from all

angles. Ronica was standing there holding her hand, ready to cut it, when she took her other hand punched it

staright into Pororo's left eye.

All burst out laughing. That was the cutest thing she did that day.

Then all of them gave their gifts to Meilin. She loved them all. Then the cake was served only to the kids. Angel and

Avie joined Ronica and rest of the female members to work. The men were served with the rice-cakes and the sea

weed soup. And a piece and a bowl had been given to Meilin to eat. Kris fed her the sea-weed soup which she

kind-off hated.

Ain't this cute....??? This is what Meilin will wear in her Doljanchi....!!!

his G6 performance in CHINA SMTOWN CONCERT....!!!

We are like crying a bucket of tears and very upset, because China is just beside India and they are having a concert there. And we are sitting here, just spazzing. :'( :'( Wonders when kpop will come to India....!!!!
