For a long..long time we hadn't gone out anywhere. Kris was always busy with work and Ronica managing

the kids. So suddenly they all decided to go out shopping.

Kris and Ronica quickly made alist of things that they had to buy and the rest was totally dependant on their

eyes. Something that the kids had learnt from Ronica was to buy things in an instant. They saw, they liked it

and immediately bought it, without giving a second thought whether they needed it or not. Well, Ronica was

like this previously, before their marriage.

Heading to the Hyundai mall, they entered the super-market to buy their necessities first, the things they had

made a list of. Ronica and Kris took a trolly of their own and Meilin immediately took a trolly for herself to

play with. Both the kids wanted to put Meifin in their trolly so that they could go around the place with her

but Kris strictly denied it. Meilin teared up slightly but then they wnet their own ways. Kris being tall, could

keep an eye on them, while Ronica bought the stuff they needed.

Ronica's for buscuits had not died yet, pregnant or not, hungry or not, she always had time and place in

her tummy for biscuits and cookies. She bought 5 different sorts biscuits.

"Not so many...!! No..!!" Kris strictly told Ronica, taking out the packets himself out of the trolly.

"Pwetty please...I love them. I want it please...!!"

"Stop acting childish. Even Meilin doesn't ask for candies like that."

"Have you ever seen her ask for something? Keep your mouth shut then. And take them, specially this one."

Ronica took a packet of cream cookies with chocolate filling inside, her all time favorite.

They bought Ramyeon, some putting-in-the mouth toys for Meifin, since she was teething. She chose the toys

herself, laying her hands on the color she liked.

Kris was amazed at her choice at the age of just 7 months. She chose beautiful colors for herself, choiciest of

all.

Ronica went and chose some exotic veggies and some condiments to cook them.

"Are you planning to try some new recipes? Why buy all of this? Dingxiang won't even eat them."

"Why don't you say that YOU won't eat them? Dingixian always eats what I cook for him."

"But still...."

"Stop arguing Kris. I am going to cook something new tomorrow and so going to have it."

"Fine...!!" He gave up. He actually could never win to Ronica. She knew him way better than himself.

Meilin and Dingxiang had done their own shopping, filling their trolly with whatever came to their hands and

whatever they could reach. Kris checked their trolly. There were a packet full of toffees, chips, instant

ramyeon (something both had taken interest in eating lately), some useless soft toys and this and that.

Kris took the trolly and emptied everything, leaving only a packet of chips. Dingxiang did pout but did not

complain. Meilin burst into tears immediately. She was about to wail loudly when Kris took her outside just in

time. Ronica stood in line for the payment.

"Stop crying." Kris scolded her.

"I want the chips and the candies....uunnngngng...and..and the toys...!!"

"I bought a packet no..now keep shut. If you make noise again, I will leave you hear and go away. You want

that?"

"You are very bad...very bad...!! I won't talk to you." Meilin told her father and ran inside.

"Do whatever you want."

Now this was actually irritating. She was otherwise a calm girl but she threw tantrums, they went overboard.

Kris was standing outside waiting for Ronica to come out and once again Meilin came out, standing there and

wailing. Ronica too must have scolded her.

When they came out, he took the bags from Ronica. Meilin refused to talk to any of us. Dingxiang went and

held her hands. They just walked ahead of us. Meilin from time to time muffled something in his ears and they

had their share of laughter, where the parents were not allowed.

Meifin started wailing slowly. She was hungry. So was the rest of the members. It was time for a small

evening snack. They bought some ice-cream, each having their own favorite and since Kris had upset Meilin,

he bought them a lolipop each. He bought one for himself too. Mefin had been given a bottle of milk to drink.

After their ice-creams were over, they went to the clothes corner. Winter was soon going to set in in Seoul.

The trees had alreayd started shedding their leaves and all the famous clothing stores had started their Fall

Winter collection already. Ronica had decided this time that she would not buy everything new fr Meifin,

since Meilin's clothes were there, but then the collections in the mall were so irrestable that she could not

help.

First thing she did was to choose a jacket for herself, a fluffy green one. She wore it and looked at herself in

the mirror. It looked lovely. Kris bought a new blazer and some new shirts. He needed them for the office

meetings, and stuff.

"See....couple jackets. Lets buy a pair."

"No Ronica please...I beg you." Kris disliked couple stuff. He felt them to be show-offs and useless. "We

aren't dating. We are married, we don't need stuff like this. It's so....cheezy."

"Fine, I won't buy them. We can buy one for the kids though. They will look cute together, wearing the same

color."

"Yup..that's better."

Both asked for some couple jackets for the kids. They chose the red color for themselves. Ronica bought the

pair for them. Now they shifted to Meifin. Placing her on the table, Ronica looked through a pile of clothes,

but she didn't like any.

"They ain't nice...!!"

Kris helped her out by choosing some nice dresses for Meifin. Ronica loved it how he chose the perfect

clothes for everyone. His choice was the best. He chose the best things in a short time and right now he did

the same.

"Cool...!! we shopped for everyone."

"Appa...there....we want to go there....!!" Dingxiang was pointing at the gaming arcade. Kris could never

resist that.

"Sure...why not? Ronica let's go....!!" Without even taking her permission, she dragged her along, with Meifin

in her laps. Both Kris and Dingxiang were video games freaks while Meilin and Ronica liked Bolwing, they

loved bowling. Although Meilin was too small but she still wore shoes and tried to play with her mom.

They were busy fighting and killing each other, whereas Meilin and Ronica played five rounds of bowling.

And the good thing was whenever Ronica hit the pins, some characters popped up on the TV screen and

Meifin squeeled and clapped. Seemed like the 3 girls were enjoying themselves.

It was soon time for dinner. Heading to an Italian restuarant, they ordered some creamy pasta for themselves

and Meilin. Dingxiang liked spaghetti more so they bought him that. Meifin onto her bottle of milk as

usual, finishing the drink this time.

In the end while heading out of the mall, they checked once whether they had taken everything with them or

not, the groceries, toys and clothes. Lastly, Ronica's eyes fell on a jewelry store and a lovely set of necklace

was on sale. Without even thinking once, she went inside and bought that set.

The day ended well, all dead tired. As soon as the family reached home, they went of to sleep immediately

after changing.
