Kris was going to come home late, like really late. Ronica had loads og work to do. Kris' parents would be coming

to visit them soon and the house had to be cleaned and arranged. They had a big house with so many members and

taking care of that was huge too.

The guest room had to be opened and cleaned, the curtains needed a wash, more dishes had to be taken out, etc

etc. When the kids were at school she worked, putting Meilin to drink milk or putting her to sleep so that she didn't

disturb much.

That day too, Ronica was working and since he told he would be late, he vouched to bring his kids home and do

some shopping for their dinner also. Ronica also sent him a list via text of all the things she needed. She continued

cleaning and patiently waiting for her husband to come home.

It was 6 in the evening, almost time for her kids and Kris to come home. Meilin was somehow very cranky today.

Due to her teething, she was drooling all over the place, while chewing onto her toys. She had a dull pain throughout

in , and because of that would stay irritated. Meilin loved it when her mom was patting her and cuddling

her, but as soon Ronica would leave her and go, she started wailing.

Ronica was sitting there with Meilin, cuddling her and tickling her, but her mind was somewhere else. Half an hour

was over but they weren't home yet. She was still waiting.

"He might be stuck up somewhere." She thought, to calm herself down. "He has to buy loads of stuff again. It must

be taking time."

She sat there with Meilin, trying her best to distract herself. In the beginning, she put on some loud music, it helped

her for sometime, but then she started worrying again.

"It's best to work. I better do that." Ronica told herself and got back cleaning and dusting the showpieces when the

phone rang.

"Yobosaeyo, Kris...where are you..what is taking you so much time?"

"Yobosaeyo...hmm...ma'am, it's Dingxiang's and Meifin's teacher speaking. They are alone at school and no one has

come to take them home yet."

"Whaat...?? But their father was going to take them...?? I am so sorry ma'am. I will be coming right away." She kept

the phone. Kris hadn't gone to take the children, where in the world was he? Ronica dialled Kris' number but his

phone was switched off. She tried numerous times but the same thing.

She dressed quickly and the next thing she did was call Baekhyun and take Meilin to Kyungsoo's house.

"Baekhyun-ah...did Kris leave for work yet...or is he still in office?"

"He left long back. He was going to be late today..yes. But then he left at 5:30 as much as I remember..?? Why, isn't

he home yet...??"

"No..Kris did not come home yet, neither has he gone to the kids. They are still in school."

"Where is Meilin then...and where are you going?"

"I am going to school to take them and I left Meilin at Kyungsoo's house. Baekhyun, please can you come and take

care of Meilin? She is very cranky right now."

"Yaa..sure...don't worry. I am heading to your house right now. And I am also looking for Kris, just keep me and

others informed."

Ronica took her car left for school immediately. She took the kids from school and started calling on Kris' number

again. This time her call was received.

"Kris...where the heck are you? You did not take the kids....

"Ahh...yobosaeyo...may I know who are you speaking?"

"I am his wife? Who are you and where is Kris?" She asked the uknown voice who had taken the call.

"Hmm...well...your husband here has met with an accident. We are taking him to the hospital right now. His phone's

battery had come off and therefore we could not inform you. Right now we are heading to Seoul Hospital."

sorry for the angst, but the story was becoming too fluffy so.....

And in school I wrote a fanfic in my exam for composition and the main character was Kris...heehee...!! hope the teacher does not become angry and she likes my story just like you guys and gives me good marks...!!
