Taeyeon's POV

“Taeyeon! Taeyeon! Wake up! You’re late. We have to get to our photo shoot in an hour!” I can hear you, I just don’t want to respond to you. Now what is she doing? Is she bouncing on the bed?

“Sunny-eh, I’m getting’ sea sick, don’ shake the bed like that.” I flick my hands towards her telling her to go away.

“No! You have to hurry up! C’mon, it’s 7:30!” Sunny’s really persistant, I’m glad to have her as a… wait 7:30?! In an instant, I shot out of bed ninja style and ran into the bathroom to have Yuri push me out.

“Taeyeon, there’s some omelette here for you!” Tiffany called out from the kitchen. “Sooyoung ate a bit of yours.” She gave Shikshin a stare, she didn’t stare back, she just kept attacking the food with .

I slouched over tired and dragged her feet towards the kitchen to eat. “Thanks Tiff.” As I was about to grab the plate, Yuri exited out of the bathroom, great now’s my chance. I ignored the plate and ran towards the bathroom.

“What’s the big rush Taeyeon-ah!” Tiffany wondered but I didn’t answer. “You’ve got plenty of time.” It’s not that I don’t have enough time, I just really had to go. “Tete! Sooyoung’s eating your, nevermind, she already did.” Thanks for keeping it away from her Tiffany.

I came out of the bathroom when I was finish and Sunny greeted me a friendly good morning. “Goodmorning Taeyeon-ah.” She handed me a cup of hot, steaming tea.

That’s so sweet of you Sunny, “thank you Sunny-ah.” She reached out her arm, handing me the cup and I took it. I breathed in the steam from the tea, closed my eyes and smiled. “Thank you,” I looked into her eyes and gently poked her nose. Soonkyu scrunched her nose and rubbed it with her fist. Oh sunny, why do you have to be so aegyo, I just want to be with you and share all the cute memories together.

I drank my tea and quickly got dressed. I didn’t need to worry about hair and makeup too much because there will be people to do it for me when we get there, but I made a decent effort to make myself presentable for the public to look at.

So it was about ten minutes before we are scheduled to head to the cars. “We’re doing a photo shoot for the new phone right?” Seohyun asked.

“Yeah, I’ve heard that we have a live wallpaper on it. It’s a bit creepy to have our virtual selves to be on someone’s phone.” Jessica just sits back almost half asleep.

“Fans love having wallpapers and posters of us on around the place.” Yoona replied, “It kind of makes me blush to see people have interest in us.”

“Come on guys, we’re there to promote the new phone, not the wallpaper that comes with it.” I said jokingly. “Look, manager-oppa’s here.”

Manager-oppa came through the door and gave instructions to go out and in the cars. So that’s what we did. From there, the drivers took us to our destination.

The girls are in hair and makeup with each person having their own stylist. “Hey Sun, I want to stand next to you in the photo shoot.” I said to her as she was sitting in the chair next to me.

She gave a side smile and nodded slightly. I love it when I’m next to Sunny during photo shoots, she makes me feel comfortable and helps me loosen up. But I’m not going to tell her that. “Thanks, you’re height next to me makes me feels much taller.” Sunny’s jaw dropped down and she couldn’t help but laugh and slap my arm. I’m only joking Sunny, but yes that is quite true.

The director of the photo shoot came into the dressing room. “Okay ladies! Time to head out. I want you all to line up from Shortest to Tallest.” Sunny’s in front, and I’m right behind her, everyone behind me had quickly gotten into their order and we all headed out. I grabbed her shoulder and made train noises. Sunny and I haven’t had a picture of just us taken professionally in a long time. It’s rare that we get a chance to have just us two, it’s usually group shots or solo shots.

The director told us that he wanted the solo shots done first, and he wanted us to do some cute actions. One by one we all posed and became aegyo for the camera. Some crew members gave Sunny some props such as flowers and a handful of petals. She was so good at using her props and she looked so cute doing it. I couldn’t help but blush. Hyoyeon, who was behind me, covered my eyes. “Byuntaeng!” I quickly pulled away from her hands and shyly shook my head, like I was a scared little kid who got into trouble. She just looked at me weirdly and smiled. “You are a byuntae aren’t you!” I knew she was joking but at the same time, I didn’t want to admit I have feelings for Sunny.

“Aniyo! She’s just really cute, don’t you agree? How am I to compete with her? Otteoke,” I kind of panicked, smooth Taeyeon, real smooth.

Hyoyeon spun me around and pushed me, “C’mon, Byuntaeng, you’re up.” I almost tripped from her pushing me, it was my turn and director-oppa gave me the cue to make cute poses and then told me to use the props given. The actions that we do with the props will end up as what will be the live wallpaper for the phone.

I was given a couple of things to work with but each time, the director told me it felt a bit forced. I looked to my right, at Sunny, Sunny looked back at me and held up a finger telling me to wait. She scavenged through the pile of props and found a mic and came up to me and handed it to me. “Director-oppa, I think Taeyeon looks and feels the most comfortable when she sings.” She gave me two thumbs up and ran back to the side. Did she really say that? Does she really think I look my best when I sing? Sunny’s comment gave me the happiness I needed to successfully create a perfect live wallpaper.

I walked towards Sunny and couldn’t help myself but give her a hug. “Thank you for looking out for me, Sunny bunny.”

“No problem, Taengoo.” Our arms fit into each other’s perfectly. Right at that moment, I felt very safe with her, she was my romeo. I played the hug off by doing a little side to side dance with her, so that anyone watching us didn’t think anything other than just friends. Trust me, if we were alone, I could hold on for as long as I can. Sunny and I watched on the sidelines while the other seven members did their part. I thought everyone did very cute and playful actions, but you cannot deny that Sunny is the Queen of aegyo.

We’ve all done our solo parts so now we’re doing our group photos. Director-oppa has placed us in a planned out position. Guess what, I’m not standing next to Sunny, I don’t want to move out of my place because it’s the director’s choice to put me here. I want my Sunny bunny.

I hid away my sad feeling as we got our group photos taken. We all modelled with the phones and before you know it, we were finished. At this point, I was wishing for director-oppa to tell us to get into smaller groups or pairs, but of course he doesn’t so we all thanked the director and left to the cars waiting outside for us outside. Manager-oppa told us that we were off to grab some lunch. I sat next to Sunny in the car, I had a slightly sad look on my face as I sat quietly looking out the window.

“Taeyeon-unnie. Is everything okay?” She put her hand on my cheek and pushed it so that I’m looking at her. I smiled at her, I didn’t want to make a big deal about this. “Unnie, are you mad at me?” She sounded too cute to ignore.

“Of course not, why would I be, you saved me back there when I was having trouble with the props. Is it true when you said I looked my best when I was singing?”

Sunny put her other hand on my other cheek, now squeezing them. “Ne, unnie, you look so comfortable on stage, so I thought that you’d be your dorky, comfortable self when you had a mic as your prop. You looked really cute playing with it.” Now, I officially want to give myself to you Lee Soonkyu. No one has made me this happy in a long time. A tear escaped my right eye. ”Naww, don’t cry Taeyeon-ah. You’re gonna make me cry.” Sunny wiped the tear with her thumb and pressed her forehead against mine. I want to tell her how I feel, just want to let my feelings out.

“Byunataeng! Soonkyu! What are you doing? Don’t you think there’s a little too much intimacy between you two?” Whoops, I was so focused on Sunny that I totally forgot that Hyoyeon was in the same car.

“Ne, I thought you guys were for real just now.” Where did Jessica come from! Is this where all the short members  are?

“Hey Sica, I totally think they’re hiding something from us.” Jessica gave Hyoyeon a wink and they both stared at us, still holding onto each other. Sunny and I just sat there frozen, we didn’t know what to do, how do I play this off?

“Aniyo! Um, me and Sunny, you two are so weird, we were just playing around. We were re-enacting a scene from…”

“Titanic.” Nice save Sunny.

“You guys should keep the intimacy to a less serious extent, ok?” Sunny and I nodded and let go of each other. Now the rest of the drive is awkward, why couldn’t Sunny and I ride in our own taxi.

The car we rode in has reached the lunch destination and we’ve met up with the other members. No one said anything as if nothing happened.

“What’s for lunch manager-oppa?” asked Sooyoung.

“We’re in South Korea, there’s food everywhere. Go and get some street food.”

“Daebak! Fany! Let’s go find something to eat!” She and Tiffany skipped off together.

“I’ll get some dango. Anyone wanna join me?” Jessica said as she started walking off. Hyoyeon caught up with her, so did Yuri. Sunny and I walked off in one direction and Yoona and Seohyun went the other way.

“Do you have anything in mind that you want to eat, Taeyeon-ah?”

“Anything’s fine with me, maybe something on a stick.” We walked around for a few minutes window shopping, without the actually shopping. “Sunny, let’s get a fried hotdog each.” I bought one for me and Sunny and handed it to her. “C’mon let’s sit on the bench over there.” I said as I pointed to one right next to the food stand. Both of us ate our hotdog and talked about whatever that came into their minds.

“Unnie, remember when we first debuted? That was such a long time ago, look how far we’ve come.”

“Ne, sometimes I wish I could relive those times.” My head was filled with memories, those days when every member had black hair, and our clothes weren’t flashy. I remember how young Sunny was. She was still in school when we debuted. That kind of makes me feel a little old.

“Taeyeon-ah. Let’s make as much memories as we can. 30 years from now, I want to remember the day we got fried hotdogs together, hahaha.” Sunny hid her laugh behind the back of her hand. “30 years from now, I want us, I want all of us, the SNSD members to remain friends forever and see each other regularly.”

I can’t help but think of how sad my life would be if Sunny left me or anyone from SNSD, life wouldn’t be the same, I don’t think I can just move on when the time comes.

“Do you think that 30 years from now, it’ll be weird to have sleepovers with the members?”

“Sunny, you’re making me emotional, can we not talk about this.” I felt sadder than I was earlier, thinking about life in the future, where would I be? Where would I live and who with? I need something to cheer me up.

Sunny stood up and turned to me “I know! C’mon Tete, I know something that’ll cheer you up.” I quickly took another bit out of my hotdog and threw it away. Sunny linked arms with me and lead the way. All I could do is keep the same pace.

“Choi Danshin, where are we going?”

“Here!” She unlinked arms and shot out her arms adding jazz hands into the presentation. She took me to a photo booth. “I know you’ve wanted a picture of just the both of us, and I know this isn’t as professional as you wanted it to be, but it makes for great memories.”

I instantly became happy, Sunny bunny, you’re so thoughtful, this is one of the many things I love about you.

Both of us entered the photo booth and started taking funny and cute pictures. We then collected our pictures, we had one strip each. “Thank you for this treat, Sunny bunny. I’m going to cherish these photos forever.”

“I’m so glad I have you in my life Taeyeon-ah. We should take more photos like this.”

“Photos of just us.” I looked at the last picture on my strip. It was me giving Sunny a little peck on the cheek. I love you Sunny.
