It's been a while
Lady Mitsuki's Note: I'm sorry for not updating sooner. Between exams and computer problems I totally forgot to do it >.< I'm sorry for both readers and author!
After a few days, Jaejoong was able to return home. He was nervous because it would the first time he would take care of the baby by himself, but soon he realized that he could handle it. And he was lucky too. Moonbin was a very calm baby, he would only cry when he was hungry or needed to change the diaper.
Today, while the baby was asleep, Jaejoong started to prepare dinner. Siwon was coming to join Jaejoong. It became a habit, Siwon would come to Jaejoong’s house or Jaejoong would go to his house to have dinner together. They liked each other’s company.
Siwon was like a father to his beloved son, he even changes the baby’s diapers at times too. Jaejoong was glad that his son would have a father figure around him. The baby boy also grew attached to the other man as well.
The bell rang and when Jaejoong opened the door the first thing he heard was, “Where’s Binnie?”
Jaejoong couldn’t help but laugh at that, “And I’m not worth to say hello to?”
“Oh, mian, Jae! Ahnyeong!” He said cheekily, “So where’s Moonbin? Is he asleep?” Siwon asked.
Jaejoong laughed harder, “Yes, he is asleep! You know, he needs to sleep in order to grow up a healthy boy, don’t you?” He said, disappointing Siwon.
“Yeah I know, but I don’t get to hold him every day!” “Are you kidding me? You see Moonbin ALL THE DAYS OF THE WEEK! And you hold him even when he is sleeping soundly!” said Jaejoong, placing his hands on his hips like how a mother would do while scolding her child or husband.
“I know I know, you’re right! But I love that kid so much!”.
Jaejoong could help but start to tear up. Siwon was so good to them. He didn’t know how to thank the other man. He wouldn’t know how to repay him. But at times like these he couldn’t stop himself from wondering if Yunho would be like Siwon to his baby. A loving father. Would he love Moonbin as much as the other man does? Would he help Jaejoong taking care of the child? Would he come back from work eager to see his little baby, and hold him in his arms?
Maybe he would… But Jaejoong would never get replies for his questions.
“Oh Jae, mian hae! I made you cry again didn’t I?.” Siwon felt guilty when he saw the hurtful expression of Jaejoong.
“Gwenchana yo, it’s not your fault. Actually, I should be thanking you for taking so good care of me and Moonbin for all this time.”
“You don’t have to thank me! You’re like a little brother to me, you know that. And I love Moonbin like a son! I just regret that I can’t make you forget that jerk that abandoned you. He doesn’t deserve your tears, Jaejoong!” Siwon embraced the crying man. He wished he could do more for his friend, but how could he ask Jaejoong to forget Yunho when he himself couldn’t forget Heechul?
The pain Jaejoong was feeling was shared by him. That’s why they understand each other so well and became such good friends.
While Jaejoong and Siwon shared this sad moment, at a house in South Korea a man felt a strong pain in his chest. He remembered the one that stole his heart and couldn’t help but to let a few tears escape his eyes.
“Yunho-ah. Could you check on Chinhwa for me?” Heechul called from the kitchen.
The man quickly cleaned his eyes and went upstairs where the baby’s room was located. The baby was sleeping profoundly. Yunho stared at the little baby boy. He wondered how would it be like if he and Jaejoong had a child together. He could imagine Jaejoong holding the baby in his arms, singing softly to the child while he himself is in the baby’s room watching the two loves of his life in such a private and beautiful moment. Unfortunately this was only imagination, there was no Jaejoong and there was no baby…
A cry was heard in the house-- little Chinhwa woke up. Yunho came back to reality and took the little baby from his crib. “Hello, my beautiful baby! You must be hungry! Let’s go to Umma so that he can give you the milk you love so much” with the baby boy in his arms he went to the kitchen. “Umma! Someone woke up and is really really hungry!” He announced to the pretty man.
“I can see that!” Heechul smiled. He walked over to Yunho and the baby, “Come here my angel. Umma has something good for you!” Gently, he took Chinhwa in his own arms.
“Do you remember my friend Yoochun?” Yunho asked Heechul.
“The one that lives in America? Dae, I remember him” Heechul replied.
“In a few months he will come back to Korea. He is thinking in opening a restaurant here.” Yunho told Heechul.
“Chong mal yo? That’s great!” Heechul said.
Yoochun had told Yunho that he was tired of the American life. He missed his home in Korea. When Yunho asked about the diner and the employees and most importantly, Junsu, Yoochun said that they were all moving to Korea, they too missed home. Yunho was happy to have is best friend back but he knew that it would bring back memories of the one he wanted to forget.
Back in Jaejoong’s home, Siwon was telling the good news to Jaejoong. “Well the company is doing great and I think that my presence here won’t be needed for long! I think in a few months I’ll go back home to Korea!” Siwon said excitedly.
Korea brought him bad memories but he couldn’t deny that he missed his homeland and was dying to return.
“You’re leaving then?” The raven haired man looked down. He didn’t want Siwon to leave.
“Jae… I kind of have a proposal to make you…” The other man paused.
“I want you and Moonbin to move with me to Korea!”
Jaejoong looked up, surprised.
“Boh? Chong mal?”
“You see, I think we work great together and I want you to come with me and help me with my company there! What do you say Jae? Is it alright with you?”
“I… I accept!” Jaejoong answered. He himself missed Korea. Besides he wanted to show his baby boy his roots, he wanted Moonbin to grow hope in the calm environment that only Korea could provide. And it was not like he would find Yunho… Korea was a big country, he wouldn’t be that easy anyhow.
But faith is attached to him in strings.
