It's been a while
A happy Jaejoong was preparing a lovely breakfast to take to his lover that was still sleeping in his room. As he opened the door to his room he could hear Yunho’s loud, booming voice.
“What do you mean I have to go back home now? There’s no way I’m going anywhere! There’s still a lot to do here!” He growled angrily to the phone in his hands.
A pause.
“But why the hell do I have to return now? Why don’t you explain it to me?”
Another pause.
Jaejoong could hear the screaming coming from the other side of the phone. “Alright. Fine. You win. I’ll go back but I hope it won’t take long! Tch, yeah yeah, whatever! Bye!” Yunho was clearly mad. His face was a slight red color. He couldn’t believe it. He had to go back, NOW? He didn’t want to leave Jaejoong. He wanted to stay right where he was.
“Yunnie, what happened?” said a soft voice from the door. Yunho turned around and saw Jaejoong standing by the door way with a worried look on his beautiful face.
“Oh baby, you were there! I didn’t see you there.” Yunho’s anger slowly calmed, after seeing his precious boyfriend.
Jaejoong walked in sat down next to Yunho on the soft bed.
The raven haired man gazed on the handsome face and his cheek gently, “Are you ok? You look so nervous!” He stated.
Yunho sighed,“It’s my father, Jaejoong.”
“What did he want, Yunnie?”
The other man turned his head away from him and looked down to his feet on the floor, “He wants me to go back home!”
“Why? Did something happen?” Jaejoong was starting to get worried.
“I don’t know. He just said that I had to get back. He didn’t explain anything to me!”
“Maybe it’s something important.”
“I know, I’m angry because he didn’t say squat to me! I wasn’t able to deny him. I’ll have to go back.” Jaejoong could tell that Yunho wasn’t very happy at the moment.
“When are you going?”
“Today. He booked my flight already. It’s tonight.”
Jaejoong couldn’t help but feel upset. He didn’t want Yunho to go, He had a bad feeling about this. He knew something wasn’t right. But he couldn’t be selfish and ask Yunho to stay. Yunho had his family to attend to and right now they needed him more than himself.
“Maybe it’s better if you start packing…” Jaejoong spoke quietly.
“You’re right, I’ll pack.” Yunho then cupped those lovely cheeks into his hands and made Jaejoong face him, “But then after that we will spend the rest of the day together!” He wanted to enjoy the last day he has with his beloved boyfriend before he leaves and God only knows when he’ll come back.
They planned to go out and eat something at a good restaurant. And After that they were supposed to go to an amusement park. But after Yunho had packed everything with Jaejoong’s help of course, they weren’t able to leave the apartment. They spent the rest of their day, in bed, whispering good byes, sweet nothings and shared passionate kisses like it was the last time they would ever see one another.
Some time before they went to the airport, Yunho and Jaejoong went to Yoochun’s house. Yunho wanted to bid goodbye to his friend before he returns back to his homeland.
And Yoochun couldn’t help but repeat the question that was in Yunho and Jaejoong heads, “But why the hell do you have to go now? You still have a lot of work to do here!”
“I know!” Yunho sighed, “But that god damn old man wouldn’t tell me anything! He just said that I had to go back right now!”
“Well, I hope that whatever business your father wants with you better not take long! You have to come back, man!” Yoochun demanded, patting his best friend on the back, “If you don’t, I’ll go over there, hunt you down, and bring you back myself!” He threatened jokingly.
“Don’t worry, of course I’ll come back! I don’t think I can survive very long without my baby by my side and you know very well that I can’t live without my Jaejoong!” Yunho said with a huge smile plastered on his handsome face while looking at a very embarrassed Jaejoong.
After the talk with Yoochun, it was time to take Yunho to the airport. Jaejoong couldn’t help but start crying when they got there. Yunho embraced him.
“Come on baby, don’t cry! I don’t want my last memory with you crying like this. I won’t be gone for long. I’ll come right back to you, I swear.” Yunho too was feeling broken-hearted. It was harder then he thought to say goodbye to his lover. He started to choke in tears himself but he held them back.
“I know, Yunnie. But I can’t help it! I don’t want you to go.” Jaejoong cried, burying his face deeper to his chest, clutching tighter onto the shirt.
“I don’t want to go either, but I have to! Just wait for me Jae, I’ll come as soon as I can!” He assured him, the silky black hair of his boyfriend, trying to sooth him.
And finally they said their last goodbyes and gave each other one final kiss.
Jaejoong was unsure and felt insecure about this situation. As he saw Yunho disappear through the airport gates, the feeling that this would be the last time he would see his Yunnie, was very strong.
What he didn’t know was…
His heart was telling him the truth.
