…… Should I accept the deal?

What if they will be angry to me, especially Kibum? He will probably hate me and will not talk to me again. I can’t lose him, he’s the only one who understands me, and he’s the only one who cooks chicken for me. But this is my dream right?

*flashback*

*incoming call*

“Hello?”

“Hello, Goodevening, is this Onew from SHINee?”

“Uh, yes. May I know who this is please?”

“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t introduce myself. This is Mr. Han, Manager, at the same time an Artist recruiter.”

“It’s fine sir, oh, the famous manager in Japan. Am I right?”

“Yes, I didn’t know you know me.”

“What made you call me all of a sudden, sir?”

“I’ll go straight to it, I’m offering you a deal.”

“Okay? What is it?”

“I’m offering you a deal to be a soloist, I will be your Manager if you accept this offer.”

“I’m kind of busy right now and I don’t think I can have time for that so…” I said while rubbing the back of my neck.

“This is once in a lifetime, think about it.”

“Y-yeah, I’ll think about it.”  I said hesitantly.

“So?”

“Thank you so much for that offer but I’m afraid I may decline that, I-I mean-“I said nicely.

“If you’re going to accept this, I’ll introduce you to Japan by having your own concert.”

“Really?”

“Well, ofcourse Youngman, anything for you.”

“Well that helped me to choose quickly.”

“What about we meet with your manager and give me your answer.”

“But I’ll still think about it.”

“Okay I’ll give you time to think, I’ll contact your manager on when we’ll going to meet.”

“Thanks again for the offer.”

*Hanged up*

*End of flashback*

I think I should talk to Kibum about this. Tomorrow, I’ll talk to him.

“Ya Jinki, I’m done showering.”

“Y-yeah, I’ll go ahead.”

I showered and brushed my teeth and we slept eventually.

I can’t sleep well because of thinking too much.

“Sekyung…” Jonghyun mumbled in his sleep but I didn’t hear it all clearly.

“Arghh, my head hurts.” My head really hurts.

I’ll take medicine, I can sleep quickly if I take one.

Key’s POV

*incoming call*

“Yo key, are you free?” Nicole called just in time.

“Yea and I’m bored.”

“Let’s go shopping with Sekyung.”

“It’s the perfect weather to shop today.”

“Let’s meet at the same place, 11 sharp.”

“Okay.”

*hanged up*

Aish, there’s only 1 hour left to get ready.

I think these jeans would look good with these threefourths. I wish I’m not that late. I’m on my way out when Jinki blocked me.

“Uh, uhm Key can I talk to y-“

“Not now Jinki, I’m in hurry,”

“Oh, I’ll wait for you to get back” he said trying to hide the depression in his eyes.

“Yea-yeah.” I said not caring if I sound y.

“Bye” He said blankly

“Bye hyung.”

*At Starbucks*

“Hey, am I late?” I immediately said while sitting.

“About a minute.” Nicole said looking at her watch

“Wow you really do care about time Nicole.” I said checking my phone for texts.

“Believe me, I’ll hate you if you’re late.”

“Where’s Sekyung?” I changed the subject.

“In the restroom applying makeup probably, she came here without makeup on.”

“Hey, you’re late Key’ you know how Nicole hates it” Sekyung came out of nowhere.

“Oh, hey Sekyung. You mean I’m late with just a minute?”

“Come on guys! I just withdrawed money, let’s go shopping” Nicole splurted between us

“You came here without makeup on?” I said ignoring Nicole.

“Yeah, it’s because I took a cab. They will recognize me if I’ll where any makeup.” Sekyung replied.

“Hey guys, seriously, I’m craving for shopping.”

“Come on, let’s go.” Sekyung said grabbing our arms.

We bought some unnecessary stuffs, whenever my eyes landed in anything attractive and interesting I immediately paid for it even though I don’t need it.

“Hey Sekyung, do you know my bandmate Jonghyun?”I asked Sekyung.

“Hm? Yeah it’s your short legged friend right?”She said after taking a sip of her coffee.

“Uhuh. He likes you.” I shrugged.

“Yeah I know, who wouldn’t.” She said confidently

“Hey, how about we’ll have sleepover in my house?” Sekyung said changing the topic.

“I’m free tomorrow, so, I think that’s a good idea.” I replied.

“Yeah let’s have sleepover in your house! You have your own house and it’s big, so, that wouldn’t be a problem to me.” Nicole added.

Onew’s POV

I’m going to talk to Key now.

“Uh, uhm Key can I talk to y-“

“Not now Jinki, I’m in hurry,” He cutted my sentence.

“Oh, I’ll wait for you to get back “I said trying to hide the depression in my eyes.

“Yea-yeah.” He said in a y tone.

“Bye” I said blankly.

“Bye hyung.”

I have more time to think about how to say it, I admit that I completely don’t know how to say it to Kibum, especially that he knows that I badly want to be a soloist before we were SHINee members. I don’t know how he will react to this. Let’s just pray so that it won’t be a negative one. What took him so long? I think I’ll just sleep while waiting for him.

 Key’s POV

I agreed to have sleepover with Sekyung, Nicole and some of our friends including Woohyun and Jinwoon. I arrived at the dorm to grab some pajamas and a few snacks, when I reached at my room I saw Onew sleeping, his dubu looking face peacefully asleep while hugging my favorite fluffy pillow. I kind of felt bad for ignoring him this morning, what was he going to talk about with me? Maybe it’s about that call. I’ll talk to him tomorrow.

“Hey hyung, where are you going?”

“We’re having sleepover in Sekyung’s house.”

“Again?” Taemin asked annoyingly

“Yes Taemin.” I said tapping his arm.

Woohyun gave me a ride on our way to Sekyung’s house.

“Hey Kibum, uh, uhm how are you doing these days?”Woohyun started a conversation.

“Pretty good actually, how ‘bout you?” I answered.

“Uh, yeah, I’m fine I think.” He said awkwardly.

“Hey, why are we talking about useless stuffs? And why are you being awkwardly awkward?”

“Uh, nothing.”He said blushing.

“I don’t know you anymore Woohyun.” I said annoyingly

We arrived at Sekyung’s house that watched 3 movies after we decided to sleep.

“OH COME ON! Not now, please.”

“Woah, what’s the problem Key?” Jinwoon said shocked.

“. I left my phone in the dorm.”

“Dude, it’s just a phone, you can get it tomorrow.” Sekyung demanded.

“Just a phone? JUST A PHONE? I can’t even sleep without it!” I said panicking.

“Calm down Key, calm down, it’s just a phone.” Woohyun calmed me down.

“Arghh, just, just don’t mind me, go to sleep.” I said so they wouldn’t think I’m weird.

“You sure?” Woohyun reassured.

“Yeah…” I said hesitantly.

OHMYGOSH WHAT SHOULD I DO? WHAT IF IT RAINS AND I CAN’T PUT ON MY HEADPHONES AND ALL I CAN HEAR IS THOSE STUPID THUNDERS AND I CAN’T EVEN CALL ONEW OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH I’LL SLEEP FASTER SO THAT I CAN’T HEAR IT PLEASE GOD LET ME SLEEP EARLY PLEASE.

Thank God you answered my prayers, I slept eventually.

“Key, it’s morning already, wake uuup.” Nicole woke me up childishly.

“Oh, uh, did it rain last night?”

“No, why’d you ask?”

“N-nothing.”

We ate breakfast which Jinwoon and I cooked. Then we said our goodbyes to each others and I headed back to the dorm.

“Kibum hyung! Did you eat breakfast already?”

“Yeah, I ate at Sekyung’s house.” I barked Sekyung’s name in Jonghyun’s ears.

“You better be thankful I slept long, or else I don’t think you can walk right now.” Jonghyun said while chewing his sandwich.

“you.”

“Bring it.”

“You should be thankful Onew hyung was there, if he wasn’t I think you’re kneeling in front of me now.” I copied his words.

“Speaking of Onew hyung, where is he? I haven’t seen him this morning.” Jonghyun asked Taemin. We all looked at Taemin eating his pancake.

“What?!” He said annoyed.

“He asked where Onew hyung is.” Minho cleared.

“Aish! Why should I know everything?!”

“It’s because you’re awake all night playing videogames?

“GAH! Just… GAAH!” He said not completely clenching his fists, while we’re still staring at him weirdly.
