The rooftop had a beautiful balconey with a roof that lay beyond and it had not even a token railing to stop an accidental plunge. Taking another glance at it, you realised that the roof was not bare concrete. It had been paved with dark grey tiles that glimmered silver under the sun's rays. The tiles were beautiful and unquestionably expensive. Leaving your purse on the table, you walked carefully to the nearest edge of the tiles and looked down...

Exhilaration raced through you at the incredible sight of angels flying in and out of the Tower. They seemed almost close to touch, the temptation of their powerful wings as if a siren song asking you to reach out and touch them.

"Careful." The word was soft, the tone amused.

You were not surprised as you felt the push of wind engendered by his near silent landing. "Would they catch me if i fell?" you asked, still captivated by the angels.

"If they were in the mood for it." He came to stand behind you, arms laid beside yours, as if he was embracing you from behind.

His wings filled your peripheral vision and you turned around to face him. Blue eyes met yours as he looked at you.

You could sense that he was angry in a way or another as his eyes were freaking glowing blue. "Stop with the glowing thing," you muttered softly.

He retreated and his eyes lost the glow as he sat down on one of the chairs. Perfection.. totally perfect. He took up a cup and sipped from it, looking as cool
