I wake up back in my bed with a pounding headache. “Ugh...” I rub my forehead trying to remember what happened. “What the heck happened to me last night?” I say, a familiar chocolate taste in my mouth.

Taemin runs into the room and closes the door behind him. “Zara, are you ok?”

“Taemin, what are you doing here?” I ask.

“Key and Minho told me you got attacked yesterday. Are you ok?”

I try to sit up, but that just makes my head hurt more. I just shake my head, still holding my head.

“Should I go get you something? Water?” he asks, now sitting next to me.

I shake my head, still trying to figure out what happened. “Taemin...”

“Yes.”

“...did you buy me some chocolate?”

He stays silent.

“Taemin?”

“Zara, did the chocolate come in a black box?” he asks, urgently.

“...”

“Zara!”

“I don’t remember. But what does that have to do with anything?”

He stays silent, thinking to himself as he nibbles his bottom lip.

I slowly sit up. “Taemin?”

He keeps thinking.

“Taemin?”

“Taemin, where did you go last night?” I blurt out, suddenly remembering that part.

He turns to me, looking as if he was caught doing something. “M-me?”

I nod.

“...places...”

“At night?”

“...”

I sigh and look at him in the eyes. “Taemin, if you’re cheating on me-”

“I’m not,” he says, grabbing my hands.

“Then what? Why won’t you tell me where you go?”

He continues to nibble on his lip.

“Taemin...”

He sighs and turns to me again. “I’m really not supposed to tell you, but I’m starting to get worried about you.”

“Worried? Why?” I ask, confused. I’m the worried one. Where do you go?!

“Please, Zara. Don’t follow me again.”

As he says that, last night flashes and I remember that as well. Now, I just can’t remember what happens after we turn the corner. “Why not?”

“Please, Zara. It’s for your safety. I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to you,” he says, now, my hair.

“But what’s gonna happen if I don’t?” I ask, now getting a bit scared.

“Please, Zara,” he says, with pleading eyes.

“You promise me you’re not putting yourself in danger?”

He nods. “I promise.”

For some reason, I have a feeling he’s lying. So I just nod and slide back down to my pillow. “When are you leaving again?”

“I have to go soon.”

I sigh. “Do you know when you’re coming back?”

He stays silent, so I have a feeling he shook his head.

“Fine, Taemin. I won’t follow you anymore.”

He leans in and kisses my forehead, giving me a light squeeze.

“But Taemin? What about that chocolate?”

I hear silence and turning around, I see he’s left. Sighing I close my eyes and try to fall back to sleep.
