Kim Joon Myun

As soon as I walked into the company, everyone bowed to me. I am used to it and just walked into my father’s office. I’ve heard a ridiculous command from him by the phone.

*Knock Knock*

“Come in.” I heard my father’s voice.

“You are going to make Eun Byul to be my assistant. I don’t agree.” I say as soon as I step in the office.

“Why are you so loud? Sit down!” My father says.

“Oppa!” Eun Byul calls. I didn’t realize that Eun Byul is in that office.

“You are here too.” I said, still standing.

“I can do well, Oppa! Believe me, ok?” She is doing that *buing buing* again! I am enough of that ageyo from Se Hun.

“Do you think you can do your job very well with THAT?” I scold.

“Joon Myun, I said ‘Sit down’.” My father says again. This time, I sit down next to Eun Byul to face my father.

Eun Byul is my sister. She is the daughter of my step-mother and my father. But things between she and I are pretty well.

 She likes to play with me since we were young and I have no reason to ignore her presence. So I get along with her very well except she is too CLINGY towards me.

“Joon Myun, she’s your sister. Be nice to her.” My father said.

I didn’t say anything back to my father.

“Appa, Joon Myun Oppa is really nice to me. He loves me. Right, Oppa?” Eun Byul said and links my hand with hers.

I saw my father is smiling at her action.

“Whatever, I am not accepting her as my secretary! I’ll choose myself one!” I say and take her hands off me and stand up.

“You can’t decline my words! I am the CEO.” My father says.

“Humph! Father, you can’t fire me because I say I will choose my own secretary. It’s against the rule!” I scoff.

“Rules are set by me. I can do whatever I want.” He says.

That’s why I hate him. He only does what he wants. So selfish. He brought a woman right after my mother’s funeral. Why can’t he wait a year? Or at least a month? Also brought a nine years old child with his new wife!

“Appa! Don’t fire him! Joon Myun Oppa, I will only work until you found your own secretary, ok?” Eun Byul says.

“Ok, dear Eun Byul. My daughter is really bright! If you can find a better secretary than Eun Byul, bring her to me. I will decide.” My father says.

I didn’t reply to them. I just step out of his office. Eun Byul is right in her own way. I can’t deny her idea because of my hate towards my father.

I’ll never be a Daddy’s son!
