Compromise
KidnappedHoya his lips, fiddling with his fingers. Dongwoo stood next to him, a bag in his hands. He gave Hoya a weak smile, grabbing his hand.
"Okay guys, we'll cover you all from all sides, so you just need to grab Sunggyu and evacuate the area." The officer explained, passing Hoya the keys to the bulletproofed car.
The two nodded and they entered the car, both taking a deep breath.
"For Sunggyu hyung."

Soon, they were in front of the warehouse that they were to get Sunggyu. Hoya and Dongwoo got out, Dongwoo still holding the bag.
They saw five men standing inside. One man, the leader, gestured for two of the men to frisk them.
They nodded when they were done, stepping back. The leader smiled, looking at the bag.
"The money?" he asked.
Hoya scanned the group for Sunggyu and his gaze hardened when he didn't see him. He stopped Dongwoo from giving the man the money.
"Where's Sunggyu hyung? I want to see him alive." Hoya growled. The leader chuckled, waving his hand. Two more men came up, pulling a bloody Sunggyu with them.
His hair was matted with blood, and more caked his face. His clothes were dirty and he was sickly pale. A blindfold covered his eyes and ropes bound his thin wrists, one finger just a bloody stub. The man gestured for the money.
Hoya nodded, letting Dongwoo toss them the money. The men shoved Sunggyu forward, letting Hoya catching him. He gently removed the bloody ropes scraping Sunggyu's raw wrists and took of the blindfold.
Horror overcame Hoya's face when he looked at Sunggyu's eyes. A cloudy film covered them and Sunggyu looked around blankly. Fresh blood oozed down Sunggyu's face when he moved, an old wound opening.
"Howon? Where are you?" Sunggyu asked, looking around with his blind eyes. Hoya turned to the men, fury in his eyes.
"What the hell did you do to him?" Hoya screamed.
The leader laughed.
"Well, he wouldn't shut up, crying and whimpering, so we had to use some of our... resources to knock him out."
Dongwoo pulled Hoya back.
"Don't do it." he whispered. Hoya gritted his teeth, turning away from the men to guide Sunggyu to the car, Dongwoo following.

The officer's eyes widened when he saw the leader of the group pull out a gun. He ran out of his hiding place, knocking the leader over. But the shot rang out, along with a pained shout and a scream.
"Hyung!"
"Plan compromised! Shots have been fired! Protect the citizens!" the officer shouted.
