Laying spread eagle on my bed, I brushed my hand over my eyes before once again looking up at the calendar.

December 17

Placing my hands back over my eyes, I closed them for a few seconds taking a deep breath willing my self to accept it.

It's ok Kyungsoo, its just like walking in the dark....forever.

Releasing a sigh, I slowly opened my eyes once more and instead of seeing darkness I saw the familiar desk, the familiar strewn books, and the familiar messy calendar with that stupid mocking date- December 17.

I don't get it, insn't today the day?

I shook my head.

Wait a second if I could still see that was a good sign right?

I pushed the pillow over my face groaning.

No, don't get too excited Kyungsoo. It's going to come.... it's enevitable.

Kicking my legs out, I shoved the pillow off my face my eyes focusing straight ahead at the ceiling. Looking up a wave of mixed feelings entered my mind as the all too familiar poster sat there mocking me. For a moment it seemed to come to life as the trees swayed peacefully in the wind and the water crashed soothingly onto the beach, making gentle ripples in the sand. I could picture the wind whisp around me, my nose and lungs filling with fresh air. I could picture the coolness resonating from the sand as my toes dug beneath and my fingers the surface the sand slipping through like a snake slithering through the forest. I could picture my eyes taking in the amazing view that fell in front of me as the sun began to rise signaling a new day, a new beginning.

A new beginning.

I sighed reality slowly starting to sink back in as once again I closed my eyes letting my arm once again drape across my forehead. I didn't know how long I just laid there in my bed, but it must of been awhile since my mother would come ever so often to ask me something or bring food.

"Honey if it truly is your last day shouldn't you do something?...or I don't know, be hanging out with someone?"

I sighed turning so that my back was facing her. Staring at the blank wall the pack filled my mind and I couldn't help but feel gloomy.

"Everyone's busy ma-" I mumbled and all I got in return was

"You never know." before I heard footsteps and the sound of the door shutting.

Resting once again I felt myself fall into a light slumber and before I knew it once again I heard footsteps making their way towards my door.

"Mom, I said I'm fine- I swear!"

No answer.

Tilting my head and furrowing my eyebrows, I slowly turned looking to find the door open but the room empty.

Huh?

"Mom...?"

I crept towards the edge of the bed, but before I made it something jumped up with a screech.

"BOO!!" "AHHH!!!"

I screeched along with it, my hands involuntary going up making my body involuntary go down and before I knew it I was off the bed, my face meeting the wood. My heart beating a thousand times a minute, I could hear laughter and looked up to find the goofy giant with that creepy smile. Before I could catch my breath though, another figured walked into the room wacking Chanyeol on the back of the head.

"Yah! Where trying to surprise him not kill him!"

Chanyeol rubbed his head,

"What? I did surprise him Baek."

Baekhyun only shook his head as another two figures appeared through the door, coming over to pick me up.

"D.O you alright dude?"

I looked up meeting Suho's eyes and nodded slowly still trying to catch my breath.

"Lets get you up."

I turned seeing Sehun on his other side and they slowly lifted helping me off the floor. While getting up, I noticed movement through my peripheral and was confused when the two were roaming around my room grabbing things and throwing them in a bag.

"Um..Channie, Baek, what-what are you guys doing?"

Chanyeol picked up a simple top and threw it at me. Sliding it off my face, I was hit with another piece of clothing, this time shorts, and I looked to Beak who held a cheeky grin,

"Sorry-"

Staring in confusion Chanyeol looked at me,

"You are supposed to put it on D.O."

I shook my head,

"...why?"

"Cause were going out of course, duh-"

Before I had time to think about it, I felt myself being stripped and before I could blink more then twice I was already dressed and was being shoved out the room being dragged downstairs.

"Wait, what about my mom?"

Upon the word mom, my mother popped out from the kitchen holding a bag handing it to Suho.

"Here you go sweety."

"Thanks Mrs. Do."

I blinked in shock and my mother just smiled as I was dragged to the front door,

"I told you sweety you never know."

I turned my head over my shoulder as Baekhyun shuffled around looking for something,

"Wait you knew?"

She just smiled and next thing I knew I was outside and down the porch now standing in front of a van. Finally I felt my arms be let free, but I couldn't move my body stuck to the pavement and my eyes glued on the view in front of me. Looking from the casual sandals, to the golden tan calves, to those tight perfect thighs which were although covered by shorts was nicely outlined, to a loosly hung tank top which showed off those perfectly sculpted arms making me curious as to what the back look, to that long glistening neck, and that jaw line I could never forget. I swallowed and lifted my eyes slowly going over those perfectly plump lips, up his perfectly fit nose, up to those saultry eyes which were sadly covered by sun glasses.

"Jong In?" I asked and with that he pushed off the car,

"That took forever guys, we got to get our asses moving. Come on, up and at 'em!!"

The guys all shuffled around me shoving themselves into the van and I stood there as the boy with the fiery eyes made his way towards me wearing his wicked grin. Unable to say anything his smile cracked even further as he slowly lifted up his glasses locking his eyes to mine,

"I look that good huh?"

I nodded without thought and when he gave me that cocky grin I came out of my mini coma scoffing,

"It's...alright." shoving him slightly and walked towards the car.

He came up behind me breathing hot breath on my neck making me shiver,

"You'll like what you see later even better."

And with that he gave a small kiss behind my ear and I gave a small yelp in suprise. Turning bright red, I jumped in the van as quickly as I could.

"Oh Kyungsoo you're all red."

"Yah- I hope that idiot didn't give it away."

I buckled my belt as fast as I could and watched as he walked around the van jumping into the drivers seat and starting the car.

"You all ready to have the best time of your life?" Kai yelled looking in the rear view mirror.

The back hollered in unison,

"Yeah!!!"

He smiled at them before turning to look at me. Giving myself a second to understand all that was going on I realized that I never asked something,

"Wait where are we going?"

He just gave me that wicked smile once more, shoving his sun glasses back down to cover his eyes before turning back to the front,

"You'll see-"

And with that he pressed on the gas as we shot forward.

As we cruised, I looked out the window taking in all that I could.

Soon- soon I wouldn't be able to see any of this again.

Seeming to notice by discomfort, I felt heat on my hand and lifted my head off the window turning it to see a hand had slipped over my own. Looking up to the man of the source he gave a small smile turning towards me,

"It all work out Kyungsoo, I promise."

I nodded and felt as he slipped his fingers through mine, clasping our two hands together. Blushing, I looked down,

"What about driving?"

He just gave me that crooked smile and I swear underneath those tinted glasses he was probably winking,

"I'm an excellent driver."

Chuckling our little moment was quickly broken when we heard a yell from the back,

"Yah, not that you guys arn't sweet and all but.."

"Keep ya'll nasty to yourselves."

We both looked at each other before laughing and I felt the heat from my hands slowly slip away. Unconcously frowning, I watched as Kai lifted his hand to turn up the radio and couldn't help but smile when he brought his hand back to mine resuming position. That seemed to do the trick because for the rest of the ride we started jamming out, belting all the songs that came out on the radio.

"3.6.5~"

We all turned to Sehun who upon feeling a few glances turned looking at us-

"What? Oh so you all belt every other song but when I just go with it-"

We all just looked at him before cracking up with laughter making him turn bright red as he pouted,

"You guy's are jerks."

Chanyeol just patted his shoulder,

"It's alright, we knew you would join our side at some point."

"Yeah we know how you look at that one kid, that foreign one." Beakhyun began wiggling his eyebrows,

"Oh you mean that innocent deer one, Luhan right?" Suho added, and upon hearing his name Sehun went crimson.

"Ha see!! I knew it. And you said you were straight. Ha straight as a bent fork." Chanyeol laughed and Sehun just dugged as far as he could in the seat.

"Yah that's not funny-" He whinned,

"I swear I thought he was a girl at first."

"At first? What about after you found out he was a dude."

He just looked down shuffling his feet,

"It was too late."

And we all just continued to laugh.

Before I knew it we were already coming to a stop and before I had the chance to look up and see where we were I felt my vision go completly black as something was thrown oven my eyes.

"Yah!" I yelled and as I tried to remove whatever it was off my face I felt my hands being held.

"Don't worry Kyungsoo, trust me."

I felt the softness in Kai's voice so I slowly let my hands drop,

"I do."

And with that we all got out of the car walking. Being guided around blindly, I felt the terrain under my feet change and feeling that smooth grainy feeling that I only dreamed of I was dumbfounded.

No way, we couldn't be....

Coming to a halt, I felt the cover being untied,

"Alright Kyungsoo you ready?"

No words would come out even if I wanted them to, and as the cover was lifted over my head and my eyes were filled with bright light I lifted my hands letting my vision focus.

"No way."

I stared amazed with my mouth hanging open as I took in the trees swaying unanamously in the wind, the water crashing soothingly against the shore, and the fresh salty air. Looking down, I saw the gold glittering sand and bent down, feeling a rush as it slipped through my fingers easily. All of it was so surreal.

"I'm- I'm..we're actually at the beach. The beach."

I gave them my famous owl eyes and Chanyeol came up to me putting me into a head lock,

"Yep I know right. Mr. Kim over there told us that you've always wanted to come."

"So now we are here." Baekhyun finished his sentence.

I looked at them as they all stood there, their faces stoic and I couldn't help but feel a tear slip down my cheek,

"Oh Kyungsoo-"

I shook my head,

"I'm just so-I'm so happy. I never thought this would happen. I swear- I love you guys."

"We love you too man."

"Yeah you are apart of our pack man."

"You are are brother."

We all came together with a group hug, and we don't know how long we stood like that until a couple of girls passed by whispering,

"Are they-?"

"Why is it always the hot ones?"

Chanyeol just brought up his head,

"Yep super gay!"

The girls yelped in embarrasment and as they scurried away we all just laughed. Baekhyun hit him in the chest,

"Yah! You don't have to say it like that."

The giant just shrugged,

"So, besides they'll leave us alone then."

No one could argue with that, and we all seperated puting our own oasis together. Laying out the towels and putting up the umbrella and chairs we began to prepare ourselves. Getting sunscreen out, I watched amazed as Chanyeol just stripped off his shirt flinging it to the side and running towards the water.

"Yah! you idiot you need sunscreen!" Beakhyun yelled after him.

He just turned around sticking out his tongue before turning back around jumping into the water.

"That idiot is so going to burn." Sehun shook his head.

"Yeah and I'm the one who's going to hear him complaining." Beakhyun sighed.

Putting suncreen on myself, we helped each other with our backs and putting on the last finishing touches I felt a shadow loom over me. Looking up, it felt like the tan goddess was the wolf and I white as snow was the lamb.

"You done Kyungie?" He asked ever so innocently and I looked up at him gaurded,

"Ye-yes wh-why?"

Feeling myself lifted off the ground I yelped and being help princess style he just stared down at me running forward.

"You know I love you babe."

"What?" I was confused by the sudden comment.

"You know I love you right babe?"

I nodded at the odd question,

"Yeah wh-"

Before I could answer, I felt myself flying in the air and next thing I knew I was looked aorund seeing seaweed instead of land. Coming up from air, I breathed in as much as I could looking all around.

Were did that jerk go?

Looking for the culprit, I felt something grab my leg and I screamed out in horror.

Oh god!!

"Please don't take me, I'm already screwed. Take the giant instead he has more meat."

Flailing around screaming, something came up right beside me covering my mouth,

"Yah! Don't be so loud, someone will think your dying."

My heart thumping a mile a minute I locked eyes with those familiar fiery ones and seeing me calm down he slowly said,

"No more screaming ok."

I nodded, and when he dropped his arm from my mouth I hit him in the chest,

"You're such a you know that."

He only laughed,

"It's not funny I really thought I was going to die."

Turning he only wrapped his arms around me, pushing himself flush against me. Now I would be lying if I said the feel of his abs against my back didn't cloud my mind any further or his hot breath on my neck didn't make my spin shiver.

"I wouldn't let anything happen to you princess."

I frowned,

"I don't like that nick name."

He kissed my neck,

"But it fits you so well. My princess."

I tried to shove away from him, but well hell he was a lot stronger so it was futile and I couldn't stay mad at him for long since his kisses started to wonder to my jaw making my mind go fuzzy.

"Kai."

"Hm." He mummered making my skin vibrate,

"You can't."

He only continued wrapping his arm tighter around me,

"Can't what?"

Closing my eyes for a second I tried my best to stay rational,

"Jong In. Not now please."

He sighed backing away and we just looked at each other. I gave him a knowing look and suddenly we both were splashed. We both turned to the source which of course was none other then the goofy giant and soon it turned into a water battle, the others quickly joining in. After a couple hours we all dragged ourselves back onto the sand exhaused. Trecking over to our towels we dropped pooped out.

"Well I think that was the longest water fight in history."

"You could say that again."

"Well I think that was-"

We heard a humph and turned to see Baekhyun drop a bag onto Chanyeol,

"He was being sarcastic dummy."

Rubbing his stomach we all relaxed for awhile before our silence was quickly interrrupted.

"Was that your stomach?"

"Yah! I'm hungry."

"Me too."

Soon chirpes of I'm hungry filled the air and Suho just sighed dragging a bag in the middle of the group,

"You guys know that Mrs. Do packed us food right."

They all just looked at each other like 'oh' laughing,

"Thats right..haha I almost forgot."

"You mean you did forget."

I looked at the bag and thought about my mom earlier,

"Did my mom know about this?"

"Kinda, we sprung it upon her last time we were at your house and she agreed with it."

"Yeah, your mom said she would even pack food for us."

"Dude not to sound weird but I think I love your mom..."

"Well her cooking."

I just rolled my eyes as we began to upack the food laying it out in front of us. Grabbing stuff out of the bag Chanyeol chirped with happiness,

"She even packed us utensils."

I smiled,

"Thats my mom for ya, very thorough."

"Woop Woop."

And with that for that we began eating. Laughing, eating, and playing games, soon time was taking its toll and we looked up seeing the sky slowly darken.

"Wow, it's already almost sunset."

"I can't believe it, I'm so excited."

Turning we heard laughter, and we watched as Baekhyun just stared at Chanyeol in amazement,

"Channie...I think you're sunburnt."

He just shook his head,

"Nah, I think I would know if I was- AHH"

Baekhyun slapped his back and we watched in amazement as his back went white to red.

"I told you to put on sunscreen you idiot."

Chanyeol only gasped forward whinning,

", that hurts man, don't do that it hurts."

I swear at that moment Baek spotted horns becasue for the next half and hour he just continually hit Chanyeol leaving spots all over him. Though as bad as we felt for Chanyeol, he did deserve it, and soon we were unable to hold in our laughter letting it out uncontrollably. Suho, grabbing our attention pointed towards the ocean,

"You guys the sun is about to set."

Sitting there, I looked up in amazement and for a second my head began to ring. I clutched my eye in pain gritting my teeth together.

Not again.

Willing it to go away, I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to find the one boy who manage to make any pain go away next to me with a worried look plastered across his face.

"Kyungsoo you alright?"

"I'm fine." I lied and he squeezed my shoulder,

"You may not think I notice, but I know when your lying and I definitly know when you're in pain. Don't think I haven't notice that you have been clutching your head a few times today."

I looked up at him in shock,

"You've noticed?"

Again pain shot through me and I felt myself double over. Quickly arms wrapped around me and I felt somehow at comfort through the pain.

"I know today's the day. We all do."

I looked around and watched as the guys looked past the ocean as the sun started to come down, one by one they turned and smiled at me and I knew it.

"We are all here for you Kyungsoo. You are not alone."

I looked away embarrased, but Kai gently grabbed me, draggin my chin so I was once again facing him.

"I love you Kyungsoo. I always have and always will."

Leaning in, I closed my eyes as he kissed me ever so softly on the forehead. He then tilted my head upward and soon he brought his lips down to mine meeting them in the most heartfelt kiss I could imagine. Slowly breaking away, I leaned back taking in the boy I loved once more. Bringing up my hand I placed it against his checks and watched as he snuggled into it, his eyes closing softly before opening to meet mine.

Taking a breath I smiled,

"I'll never forget the way your perfect casual hair looks, even when its messy.

I'll never forget the way your eyebrows curl up when your confused or when your plotting something.

I'll never forget those bedroom eyes and the way they seem to capture my soul every time you look at me taking my breath away.

I'll never forget your perfect nose and how it seems to fit with mine like a puzzle piece when where up close.

I'll never forget those saultry plump lips which can devour mine one minute and yet be so gentle the next.

I'll never forget that godly sculpted jaw line that calls my name asking for kisses the same as your neck.

Kai I might not be able to see after tonight, but I will never, never forget the way you look in my mind.

You will always be my Jong Jong, my boy with the fiery eyes."

Taking him all in one last time he leaned in kissing me once more.

"Guys the sun its setting."

We turned slowly and entertwining our hands I looked up as the sun cascaded against the water, the yellows and reds and oranges mixing with the greens and blues. It was an unforgetable sight. The way the sun seemed to meet the ocean seeming as if it were coming to an end, but it wasn't it was joining, it was becoming one. Somehow it knew it wasn't the end and that soon it would have a new beginning.

A new beginning.

I felt tears of joy slide down my cheeks.
