Kaiko Meets Kyuhyun!

Making Up For Lost Memories..

Alexander

“When’s Sohee-chan getting back?” Kaiko asked for the seventh time. I looked up from the TV and couldn’t help but smile at her. She was so… so… well, CUTE! She sat in one of the chairs with her feet pulled up so she could rest her sketchbook there, but was leaned back and had her legs pulled so close it looked like her doe-like eyes were peering over the top of her sketchbook.

“I’m not sure. We’ve stopped bothering to ask whenever she’s out with Kyuhyun,” Eli answered, rolling his eyes.

I heard the spite in the way he said Kyuhyun’s name and frowned. I’ll admit that I didn’t like Kyuhyun dating Sohee. Sohee was like a baby sister to me, and the fact that she’d been having such a tough time lately made me feel like going Big-Brother on anything that hurt her. However, she was happy, and that was enough for me. I don’t see why that couldn’t be enough for Eli…

Kaiko shrugged one shoulder and looked back down to her sketchpad, her shoulders hunched forward and eyes focused on the paper. She looked completely focused on what she was drawing. She occasionally reached towards a pencil case that was balanced on the armrest and exchanged whatever pencil she was using for another, not even looking to see what color she’d grabbed. I wondered how she did that and then noticed that her pencil case was organized neatly based on the rainbow. I was torn between being impressed that she’d organized her pencil case and had memorized the order of the colors, or weirded out by that same thing.

I couldn’t help but stare at the way she focused so intently on her art. Since I sometimes had the urge to randomly take pictures, my camera was always within arm’s reach. Without looking, I reached over and slowly picked up my camera, pointing the lens at Kaiko. She was so intently focused on her drawing, she didn’t even notice me preparing to take her picture. I knew that my camera made a loud clicking sound whenever it took a picture – loud enough to make someone unsuspecting of a photo jump in surprise – and I didn’t want to startle her and risk ruining her drawing.

When she reached over to switch out her pencils, I quickly snapped the photo. As I expected, she jumped in surprise and looked up at me in shock. “Xander-kun, what are you doing?” She asked, frowning.

“I couldn’t resist!” I told her, smiling. “You just look so cute when you’re focusing on your art!”

“Nani?” Her expression was blank in confusion and she tilted her head to the side a little bit. Quickly, I snapped a photo of her confused look.

I stood up and walked over to her, leaning down next to her and flipping through the photos on my camera so that I could show her the two pictures I just took. “I like taking pictures of you,” I told her. “You always look so cute!”

She lifted her head to look up at me, her eyes wide and doe-like. Slowly, a twinkle formed in her eye, along with a cute smile on her pink lips and a pleased blush on her cheeks. “Arigatou, Alexander-kun,” she told me. Quickly, before I missed the moment, I took a picture of her face.

Kyuhyun

My leg was bouncing up and down as we approached U-Kiss’ dorm. Sohee snickered and put her hand on my leg. “Chill the out, Kyuby,” she told me with a smirk. “Trust me; Kaiko’s going to like you.”

“But how do you KNOW?” I whined, wrapping one arm around her shoulders and pulling her close.

A knowing smirk graced her beautiful face. “We used to have fangirl arguments over you.”

“…Seriously?” I was in disbelief. Fangirl arguments?

Sohee nodded, snickering at my disbelief. “Yeah. We used to jokingly argue that whichever one of us that met you first got first dibs on you.”

“…Dibs?” Okay, I was confused. Sohee, being Sohee, only laughed at my hopeless confusion.

“Don’t worry about it, Kyuby. I’m sure everything will work out fine.”

“I hope you’re right,” I told her, nervously undoing my seatbelt once the van stopped in front of the dorm.

Eli

I rolled my eyes in disgust at Alexander’s shameless flirting with Kaiko. Of course, I was also tempted to laugh, because the girl seemed completely oblivious that Alexander was flirting with her. It was probably a Japanese-thing or something…

I heard a knock on the door and grinned. Sohee was back! I really, really, REALLY hoped that Kaiko didn’t like Kyuhyun; if she didn’t then that means she would scare him away, and Sohee would be all mine! MUWAHAHAHAHA!!

“Eli, what are you doing?” Kibum looked at me like I was a retard. I froze and realized that while I had been thinking, I had starting rubbing my hands together evilly and giggling like a madman.

“Um…” I was cut off by more banging on the door and Sohee’s yelling outside.

“s, let us in!”

Kevin scrambled to open the door, squealing, “Sohee!” as soon as he did and swept her into a hug.

“Kevin, put me down!” She laughed. “Kyuhyun needs to meet Kaiko!” Kaiko heard her name and hurried past me, her eyes wide with curiosity – OH MY GOD, SHE’S SO ADORABLE!!

I heard a fraction of a squeal sound and hurried around the corner, alarmed by the noise.

Kaiko

I heard Sohee-chan knocking and stood up slowly as Kevin-kun lunged to his feet so that he could open the door. Again, I heard Sohee-chan yell something at Kevin-kun – and I heard my name. I jumped up and hurried out of the room, stopping dead in my tracks in shock when I saw HIM.

Cho Kyuhyun.  Oh my dear sweet lord above, he’s even ier in person! Sohee-chan is so LUUUUUUUUUCKYYYYYYYYYYY...

Without realizing it, as soon as I saw him I almost let out a fangirl squeal. However, I stopped myself after a fraction of a second, slapping my hands over my mouth. I could feel my face heating up as he smiled at me and said something in Korean, bowing to me.

“He said it’s nice to meet you,” Kevin-kun translated.

I had to keep my lips pinched together so that I wouldn’t shriek like the fangirl that I was. I turned and bowed to him. “It’s nice to meet you, too,” I said, trying not to choke on my words. Kevin-kun turned and translated what I said for Kyuhyun, who smiled and then took my hand, shaking it. I immediately broke down into a dorky, fangirl giggle-fit.

After I had been giggling uncontrollably for about a minute, I suddenly realized: This was Sohee-chan’s BOYFRIEND. I immediately sobered up, clearing my throat. I smiled at him and bowed again, trying to redo my first impression. “I’m sorry about that,” I said, nodding at the freaked out expression he wore that mirrored everybody else’s. “I swear it won’t happen again,” I smiled sheepishly at Kevin-kun, expecting him to translate.

Instead, he swept me into another hug, gushing about how adorable I was.
