Chapter One
I Love You
Flashback – Your POV : USA
I was waiting for almost an hour now and no one was showing up so I decided to go home, but when I was about to leave I heard my name from afar:
“ _____!!Heeeey _____!!!” I turned and I saw Micky running towards me.. I sighed.. he is my best friend.. we know each other since sixth grade, he was a new student in my class. We became friends right away because we sat beside each other and to go home, we waited for the bus together. It was the same for high school. He is now in front of me out of breath, I crossed my arms and looked at him disappointed:
“____, I’m so *breath*sooorry!! I’m reeeally late*breath*I know!!” he said gasping for breath .
“Micky? you know how much I waited?? We should’ve met an hour ago you know??” I said annoyed
“ I know, I know!! But it wasn’t my fault.. I did not hear the alarm clock so..” he said looking at the ground and playing with his foot.
“____ I’m sorry okay? This is the last time okay?? I will not do it again okaay??” he said now looking at me and smiling like an idiot knowing that I will not be angry at him for too long.
“let’s go and watch the movie!”
“It’s almost over Micky..*sigh*…”
“oooh… you really wanted to watch that movie..” he said lowering his voice making a sorry face and feeling guilty.
Well it was not the first time for Micky to be late or to not be able to catch a movie in time. I will always be disappointed at first but then he know how to make up for it. “ Then let’s go eat something!!” he said excited, I looked at him and he was smiling from ear to ear.
So I gave up being angry. Seriously, why I can’t be angry at him??stupid..
“okay, the waiting made me hungry..” I said walking first.. he grinned and reached me and we walked together.
End of flashback
Your POV: South Korea
I looked at my phone and there was no calls or new messages… -why??- I thought..-why won’t you call me or say anything? It’s already two weeks that we did not see or hear each other..-tired from thinking too much I lay down on my bed trying to stop thinking and to sleep so I closed my eyes.
Twenty minutes after my eyes were wide open –why??why won’t you let me sleep brain??can’t you stop thinking for a while?- I cover my face with a pillow.
It’s already 07:00 am when I heard the alarm. I didn’t got up and I slept some more , but all of a sudden I remembered
– !Work!- I looked at the phone and it was already 07:25 –oooh nooo!!nooo!!- so I rushed to the bathroom and washed up and went to get dressed.
It’s 07:45 –oooooh I’m sooo lateeee!!- I grabbed my purse and I rushed to the main door.. I called the elevator and waited for it.. well I’m at 12th floor and I have no intension to take the stairs in the morning even if I’m late… I went to my car and I started to drive to work when I heard the phone ringing I checked it and it was Sarah, my close friend and co- worker , she is not Korean but American ( she was the first person I became friends with in Korea). I did not answer it because I already know what she have to say
- ____!!! you are late!!- so I will not waste my time now.
At 08:15 I arrived at work there she was Sarah waiting for me.. well my desk is right beside hers so I can’t go anywhere..
“ I know, I know I’m late.. I did not get enough sleep so pleeeease could you just not say anything?” I said to her sitting down and resting my head on the desk..
“____! You’re late! AGAIN!” she said to me emphasizing the last word. ” What’s wrong with you this days ____?why won’t you tell me anything?” she said resting her head beside mine so she can face me, she looked at me with concern.
I don’t like to trouble her so I stretched myself and smiling I said “there is nothing wrong Sarah.. like I said I just didn’t get enough sleep so I’m a little tired..”
“if you say so..” she said smiling back.
“____?in my office!” said my boss.
I went in to his office and we talked about my new group. Well, I’m working in a tourist company and I’m a guide so I have to take care of a group of people, I have to organize their trip and show them the best places. I really love this job, and since I can speak English and Korean it’s an easy job.
Later I went to pick up my group at the airport and I started my tour. At lunch time we went to a restaurant and there was a TV and it was on a drama, a Park Yoochun drama to be precise. I stared at the screen and I felt how much I miss him.
