YUNHO'S POV

I sighed.  I feel so... caged.  I need to get out.  I want to breathe. All these fame and issues are slowly suffocating me.  Everywhere I go, there's someone keeping an eye on me.  I wish there's some place nearby that I could go without anybody really noticing me.  But where?

I flopped down on my bed.  A province?  I think it'll be too...bland and boring.  Outside of Korea, where?  Japan?  Nope, even with my disguise on, there would be somebody who'd recognize me.  Malaysia?  Indonesia?  Singapore?  Thailand?  Nope.  Hmm.. I need a country that's nearby and where I'm not famous.

I let my eyes wander on the display shelf full of gifts that fans had given or sent to me.  My eyes landed on the miniature jeepney and I smiled.  Why didn't I think of it sooner?

I immediately called my manager. 

Me: Managernim, I finally decided what i'm gonna do for the meantime.  I'll be having a vacation.  I'm going to Manila.

He: WHAT?  Why??

M:  I need to unwind.  Besides, there's no schedule for us now, right?  I can do whatever I want.

H:  But is flying to another country really necessary?  Why can't you just unwind here?!

M:  And where?

H: ....

M:  See?  Now don't worry about me.  I can take care of myself.  People there hardly know me so I'm safe.  Also don't worry about my lodging.  I'll handle it.

H:  *sigh*  Okay.  But always try to update me about your whereabouts, arasso?

M:  Neh.  Thanks, managernim.  I promise I'll be as good as new when I come back here.

H:  Alright.  Take care of yourself. Behave, alright? Bye!

M:  Yes. Bye!

Now that's done... I stood up and opened my laptop to book a ticket for Manila.  3 days from now, I'll be free.  After booking my flight, I hurriedly wrote an email to a friend I met there about 3 years ago while we did a CF for Ramodo, telling her I'd be coming to her country. 

We kept in contact even after we left Manila.  Unfortunately, I've been so busy the past months that we lost contact.  I do hope this is still her email address.  I clicked 'SEND' and crossed my fingers.  I yawned and looked at the clock.  I didn't realize it's already 1am.

Oh well, I guess I'll just read her reply tomorrow, if there is one. 

I went back to bed and smiled.  Somehow, the thought of seeing her again lightened up my mood.
