(Three months later)

          Not a single message was received that day. Seems like my life has been well ever since I stopped talking to Taecyeon, however who knows he might come back again. Luckily for me it didn’t affect my grades.

It’s a new school year which means that the first thing in front of my eyes is a sea of anxious students in the corridor. Most of them were trying to see the class list and some were talking about who is which class, I was about to take a look until Khun stooped me.

“No worries, you’re in the same class with me” he smiled

“Wait.. What about..”

“Junho’s class is quite far from ours” he cut off my sentence. But Jihye is also in the same class; at least I can still ask her what I need to know about Junho. Hopefully I can still get some answers if only there was a way I have the guts to ask him in person, but probably it’ll only happen in my dreams. Just as I was about to put my bag under my desk, Jihye was rushing inside while holding a small note.

“It’s for you” She gave me the note while breathing heavily

“Who is it from?”

“Just read the dang note already!” Jihye demanded

“Alright.. Geez, what’s wrong with you?” I scoffed as I open the note. It was slightly crumbled and the handwriting is messy yet I can still read what the note says.

Yoon Mi,

      This is crazy but I’ve always liked you since I first saw you. But sadly I’m too shy to talk to you, so would it be okay if we just talk to each other like this?

“Tell me I’m not dreaming!” I exclaimed

“Whoaa… Hold your horses, girl. Anyways who do you think is the sender of that note?” Jihye pointed at the note that I was holding.

“It’s gotta be Junho” I tore a small piece of paper and began to write on it as a reply to the note. Before I began to write, maybe I should think about what I am going to say. Oh well, I’ll just let the words flow out from my mind.

      First, I just wanna say thanks for saying that. I don’t mind if we only write to each other because you’re too shy, don’t worry I feel the same thing.

“There, all done!” I handed the paper to Jihye after I finished writing and folded the note. She gave me a satisfied smile.

“I see someone who’s interested in their secret admirer. Don’t worry I’ll give you the note to him” She dashed out from the classroom as fast as her legs go.

“Awww…Someone’s got a secret admirer” Khun was standing next to me all this time yet I failed to notice him.

“What are you doing here?” I asked him

“What? Is it wrong for your friend to know what’s going on?” Khun answered monotonously

“Whatever” I said as I head towards the bathroom. When I was about to enter the bathroom, suddenly I saw Jihye and Ye Eun talking.

“Hey I heard you got a letter from a secret admirer right?” Ye Eun smirked

“Don’t lie!” Jihye added

“Wait, didn’t you just send the note to him?” I pointed at Jihye. Ye Eun was enthusiastically asking her who was the person I referred to as ‘him’, Jihye whispered to her and suddenly her eyes widened.

“Mwo? Junho sent it to you?” Ye Eun asked me. I told her that it’s just a guess since I’m not really sure about it, I think it might be a prank.

“Yah! How could you say that?” Ye Eun shook me. I tried to regain consciousness since I felt a bit dizzy after she shook me pretty hard.

“Don’t you know I used to date Junho?” Ye Eun raised her tone. Jihye nodded slowly. I asked Ye Eun what it was like when she dated Junho.

“You wouldn’t believe what he did to me. He was such a total douchebag! First, he’s a player. Every time we go out together he won’t stop checking out at other girls all the time. Second, he only cares about his looks and not me since he won’t stop talking about his clothes. And last but not least, HE’S GAY! Do you know how shocked I was when he meets Jun.K both of them would greet each other by hugging as if I was watching live bromance in front of my eyes! Unbelievable!” Ye Eun explained.

“So are you still going to like him?” Jihye asked me

“Let’s see…How about NO” I denied

“But why?” Ye Eun pouted

“How can I date someone like him just like what you told me? He’s only winning in terms of looks that’s all” I rolled my eyes at Jihye. Suddenly I noticed that she left without a single trace. Where could she be?

(JUNHO’S POV)

“Junho-ah, I have the reply!” Jihye’s voice was heard. She gave me a note which contained Yoon Mi’s reply. As I read her reply I couldn’t help but giggle at it, such an innocent girl.

“What are you going to write?” Jihye asked me

“Do you know when her birthday is?”

“It’s tomorrow. Why?”

“Perfect. I’ll just reply to her tomorrow, she’ll definitely be surprised” I smirked

(NEXT DAY)

(YOON MI’S POV)

I couldn’t help but noticing another note again on my desk. When I opened it, this time it’s from the same person.

Happy birthday Yoon Mi!^^ I wish you all the best and I can see you in person. So what do you say.. Me, you, and a date maybe? ;)

“Eyyy… Did you get any new replies?” Jihye tapped my shoulder. I showed her the note I just received and she was smiling widely.

“How did he know about your birthday? Could it be…..” Jihye gasped

“What? What is it?” I was starting to get impatient

“Could it be that… Both of you are meant to be! Oh my goodness, I’m so proud of you!” Jihye cheered.

“You should reply to him now! Take your time” she added before she returned to her seat. When I finished writing the note, I still kept the one he sent to me yesterday. I decided to go to Junho’s class and I saw him talking to his friends.

“Um.. Hi” I smiled awkwardly at him

“What’s up?” Junho replied to me

“I was wondering if you really sent me the note”

“What note?” His tone was raised a little bit. I handed him the note to him, and he gave me a pissed off look.

“This is a mistake. I swear I didn’t write this!” he denied. There was a loud OOOOOHHH sound coming from his friends.

“But Jihye said..”

“I told you I didn’t send you the note! You know that’s just nonsense! It could’ve been someone else named Junho” he snapped back at me. Geez, this guy is totally a scumbag. I left his class with an upset expression plastered on my face and Jihye walked by me.

“Did you really ask Junho about the note?” I nodded

“What did he say? Tell me!” Jihye demanded

“He flipped out. He kept denying that it wasn’t him who sent the note”

“He must be lying. You know how guys are too shy when it comes for stuff like this” Jihye tried to cheer me up

“Jihye, I’m sorry. I know you tried so hard trying to arrange me with Junho but it just doesn’t work, I don’t really like him anymore. What’s the use? His looks don’t even guarantee whether he’s a nice guy or not. Even if some people say he’s a nice guy but I don’t believe all of that nonsense. Probably he’s a two-faced jerk” I left Jihye.

“Wait.. Yoon Mi! You can’t do this! Don’t give up now!” She yelled form the distance

“Once again I’m very sorry, it’s just.. I can’t” I continued to walk towards my classroom while hiding my disappointed look.
