Idiom 23: 爱憎分明

Learn Mandarin With Me! (Proverbs & Idioms)

成语 [chéngyǔ] are a type of traditional Chinese idiomatic expressions, most of which consist of four characters.

Chengyu were widely used in Classical Chinese and are still common in vernacular Chinese writing and in the spoken language today.

爱憎分明 [ài zēng fēn míng]

Meaning To be clear about whom or what to love or hate

Example

I am a person who knows what to love or hate.

我是个爱憎分明的人 [wǒ shì gè ài zēng fēn míng de rén]

I would be doing many many more Idioms chapter as Idioms are more applicable ^^

Also, never trust Google Translate when you are translating sentences like this.

I literally laughed when I saw the translation XD
