So what's Idioms? 

成语 [chéngyǔ] are a type of traditional Chinese idiomatic expressions, most of which consist of four characters.

Chengyu were widely used in Classical Chinese and are still common in vernacular Chinese writing and in the spoken language today.

一箭双雕 [Yī Jiàn Shuāng diāo]

Killing two birds with one stone

 

释义 原指射箭技术高超。后用一比喻做一件事同时达到两个目的。

Meaning Originally describing someone's archery skills to be at expert level. It is now used to describe achieving two goals by just doing one thing.
