路遙知馬力，日久見人心 [lù yáo zhī mǎ lì，rì jiǔ jiàn rén xīn]

A chinese proverb that explains how "Time can reveal/verify Everything"

路途遥远才能知道马力气的大小，日子长了才能看出人心的好坏。

路遙知馬力 literally means, "As the distance gets longer, we would be able test how strong a Horse is"

日久見人心 literally means, "As the time gets long, we would be able to see the nature of a Person's heart"

So, it means "As distance tests a horse's strength, Time reveals a person's heart."

Application

You can use this when wanting to express that "Time would be able to prove (the things you are doubtful of)."
