Sound PRO with PROverbs!

Chinese proverbs (諺語yànyŭ) are famous sayings taken from literature, history, and famous people like philosophers.

There are hundreds of Chinese proverbs addressing all aspects of life from education and work to personal goals and relationships.

玉不琢不成器人不学不成才

[yù bù zhuó bù chéng qì, rén bù xué bù chéng cái]

Jade must be carved and polished before it becomes an ornament, Man must be educated before he can achieve great things.

Meaning: Education is need for man before we could achieve the future/success we want. (This is used with an analogy of the Jade being carved.)
