Once Yunho and Jaejoong left the room Karam noticed that Changmin was still just staring off into space. Changmin didn't know what to do. He could't get his mind to work right now. So he just sat there, staring at the kitchen wall, not knowing what to say.

Few minutes passed, and Karam couldn't just sit there any longer seeing his brother sad. He reached for his hand but Changmin pulled back, obviously avoiding it pretending to scratch his head. They stared with each other for a brief second before Changmin looked away. Karam noticed the sadness in his brother's eyes. Before Karam could worry about being rejected, he leaned into his brother and pulled him into a hug. That was exactly what Karam had thought Changmin would have wanted. That's what made Changmin feel safe, with their bodies so close and Karam's arms wrapped around his back, playing with his hair.

"Hyung." Changmin whispered, horrified as if he just realized what had happened.

"Talk to hyung, baby." Karam whispered softly.

Changminy felt the hair on his neck rise and glanced up to lock eyes with his brother. "Appa wanted us to break it off? Hyung, appa and daddy are totally against us. What should we do hyung?"

"Shhh... calm down, baby." Karam tried to comfort his brother.

"I made them mad. I don't want to lose them hyung. They're our parent. I love appa and daddy. "

"Hyung realised that baby. Hyung loves appa and daddy too. And we're not going to lose them. That is not going to happen. Nothing will change that. "

"But I can't lose you. I just can't." Changmin's voice came out softer.

"Baby, listen to hyung. Appa and daddy loves us. This won't change that, nothing ever will. We won't lose appa and daddy, baby and hyung can assure you that you won't ever lose me either. Hyung wouldn't let the love of my life leave me. Hyung wouldn't function without you, baby."

Though Changmin heard the whole thing and it made him feel better, one part of Karam's words made him smile. "The love of your life?"

"Yes baby. You heard me right."

The boys were so wrapped up in each other that they didn't notice Yunho and Jaejoong standing in the doorway. Jaejoong tugged Yunho few steps away from the room and whispered in an impatient tone "You see and hear all that Yunho?"

“I cannot believe this. I refuse to believe this.” Yunho said, mostly to himself. Jaejoong could practically feel his heart breaking.

Jaejoong cupped his face and looked into his eyes, "But it is real, Yunho."  he whispered to him like he has a direct line right into Yunho's brain, everything Yunho needs to hear in that moment. Of course he's scared of Yunho getting hurt, or worse. Jaejoong's hands left his face, "You know how much I wish that it wasn't true but…it is real."

Yunho nodded. "I know Jae. But I just cannot accept them. They are brothers. That's ! And I really hoped Karam would marry a girl and give us kids. Changmin too. Please Jae, tell me what to do?"

Jaejoong blinked, slowly like it takes effort, and his head jerks a little as he looked at Yunho like he'd like to say something, but there's no strength for it. leaned up and kissed Yunho on the lips briefly.

Yunho looked at Jaejoong and walked to sit on a gazebo. Jaejoong followed behind and went to sit next to him. Jaejoong didn't know what he was expecting. He thought that Yunho was going to break down and …. He was very surprised when he did nothing like that.

Both figures were engulfed in silence. The air was thick and the silence was deafening. Yunho gently rubbed Jaejoong’s arms and back, looking like he was lost in thought. His touch was gentle and soothing. Jaejoong loved it.

"Jae?" Yunho said, looking at him.

"Yeah?"

“Be honest, Jae. You think my decision was made a little too hastily, don’t you? It’s written all over your face.”

"No Yunho. It makes the two of us." Jaejoong sighed. He didn’t really think it was his place to tell Yunho what to do in the matter, especially not after the sacrifices he had gone through to have Karam to carry Jung's name.
