Chapter 16
I lied... I love you
Changmin walked down the stairs to get to the kitchen. This morning was different, however. He noticed Karam was talking to someone at the front door.
"So, how about lunch, Beautiful?" He heard a familiar voice askasking. 'Seungho.'
"How about you have lunch here with me. I'm not a good cook, but I can prepare simple meals for our lunch," Karam suggested, leaning on one of the large pillars on the porch.
'Good. Lunch with Seungho in the house.' Changmin rubbed his temple.
"Perfect. I can help you to prepare our lunch. I'll be here around twelve. Is that okay?" Seungho asked with his husky voice.
"Sounds good...so...I'll see you later..." Karam smiled.
Karam closed the door and saw Changmin slumped on the sofa.
"Baby, hyung invited Seungho for lunch. Join us?"
"No thanks, Hyung. I'm going out." Changmin looked deeply into Karam's eyes. "Do you have to ask him for lunch here, Hyung?"
"Why? What's wrong?"
"I just don't like it. Just don't..."
"Why don't you like him, though? Are you trying to stop hyung from seeing him? He's a nice guy if you give him a chance!"
"I'm not trying to stop you, I just don't want him over here."
"What is wrong with that? He is just coming over for lunch."
"Aishh... Hyung. Just do whatever you want to do." With that he ran up the stairs and went into his room.
'This isn't good,' Karam thought. He sat on the couch and cupped his face in his hands.
Fifteen minutes later, he saw Changmin coming down the stairs. He headed straight to the main door and went out. Karam felt so weak, but he was with it enough to wonder what Changmin could have possibly meant by his actions towards his relationship with Seungho.

After they had their lunch they crashed on the couch in the living room.
"Seungho, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what is it?" Seungho looked at him.
"Why did you stop playing the piano?"
They stayed looking at each other for a minute. Grumbling underneath his breath, Seungho placed his hand over his forehead. He should have known that Karam would ask on the topic again. It was not Karam's fault that he wanted to know about his personal life. He had nothing to hide anyway.
"I started playing piano when I was seven. I was a fast learner. I won first place at my age level in many competitions. My parents were very proud of me."
Karam smile at him. "Of course they were."
Seungho sighed. His facial expression changed. "When I was twelve, I entered many competitions and won most of them. On the final day of my biggest competition, my parents were in Japan but they said they would fly back from Japan to be there to support me. Ten minutes before my turn to show my talent, my uncle came to tell me that my parents had an accident on the way to watch me play. They died on the way to the hospital. I didn't do my performance that day."
"Seungho... I'm sorry."
Seungho smiled a little at Karam, and waved his apology away. He continued calmly, "Since then, I've never played the piano again. My uncle took me to live with him. He continued to run my father's business until now. Two years ago, I told my uncle that I wanted to live on my own. After a lot of discussion, he bought me the house where I'm staying now. And also the car. LeeJoon knew I can play the piano because he he has always hung around at my house. I have the grand piano my father bought for me." Seungho caressed Karam's cheek tenderly. "Now that I have you, I'm so happy to play it again. I'm glad that I'm here. I'm glad that you've let me into your life."
Karam couldn't take his eyes off Seungho, because he took his breath away.
"I love you, Karam," Seungho said barely above a whisper after a few long moments of silence. He took Karam's right hand and pressed a kiss at the center of his palm. Seungho didn't hesitate to lean in and kiss Karam's soft lips. Karam shut his eyes. Seungho kissed him and Seungho's breaths against his skin were sending tingles all throughout his body. He opened his eyes and found Seungho staring at him, holding his palm to his cheek again.
Karam his temple gently. "I love you too," he said, almost gasped. "If I go to your house, will you play the piano for me?"
"I will play for you for the rest of my life."

After making sure he was ready for school, Karam walked out of his room and closed the door slowly. As he passed Changmin’s room, he noticed from under the door that Changmin's room
