Jaejoong stood outside the coffee shop. He knew Yamapi already inside waiting for him. He hadn't seen Yamapi for a long time. Since he left to Seoul with Yunho and Changmin, the only time he met with Yamapi was on his wedding day. He didn’t even have the courage to call him. He knew Yamapi was suffering because of him and he honestly didn't know what to do or say to him. Every time he thought about Yamapi, he had to force himself to think about something else because it wasn't fair on Yunho.

'There's nothing to be worried of. Just calm down.'  Jaejoong forced himself to remain calm although it was being hard to stay calm in that situation. 'I have to do it.'

Jaejoong pushed the door opened and walked in, spotting Yamapi easily. He certainly wasn't expecting to see Yamapi standing there looking at him.

"Hi." He greeted Yamapi. He was breathless as if his heart had leapt into his throat.

"You came." Yamapi greeted back, gesturing the seat across the small table, which Jaejoong took with a small smile.

"It's really you." Jaejoong said after he sat in his chair.

"Yes, it really is me. You never expect to see me again?" His eyes meet Jaejoong's and Jaejoong saw them crinkled as Yamapi smiled at him, and a grin immediately spreads on his face.

Jaejoong sent him a vile look. “Maybe I did."

Yamapi's mouth thinned. "It's ok," He said without a hint of emotion, "Just don't let it happen again next time." He said trying to sound cheerful and failing miserably.

For the first time in his life Jaejoong was rendered completely speechless and had nothing to say. He remained silent. The waitress came and poured a coffee into Jaejoong's cup.

Yamapi stared at Jaejoong. "I miss you, Jae." It came out in whisper because he knew that he will freak Jaejoong out. "When you're gone, I miss you." He said softly as the waitress moved discreetly about the table filling his coffee.

Jaejoong flinched as he heard it. "Be careful how you speak, Yamapi. You never think before you say things sometimes. You need to be careful of what you say and how much you say."

Despite this warning and the stern look on Jaejoong's face, Yamapi only continuing to smile. "I meant it, Jae."

Jaejoong breathes in for a moment as he exhaled he looked up at him. "Yamapi, please don't start it again. We've talked about it."

Yamapi smiled a bitter smile. "I know. I remember every details of our talk, Jae." He paused for a second then sharugged. "I'm just being honest."

Jaejoong breath hitched in his throat as Yamapi stared into his eyes. What was he getting at? Jaejoong was unwilling to consider the possibility of his words meaning what he thought they actually meant. He looked pensive for a second.  "Just keep it to yourself."

"I want you to know it."  Yamapi smiled at Jaejoong. He shook his head lightly and he opened his mouth to tell him that he didn't need to hear his rejection again, it was a script that he'd already memorised in his head. However his words just caught in his mouth.

Jaejoong looked up at Yamapi who was taking a sip of his coffee, studying his face intently for signs that he was lying. He found none, but then again, he shoots Yamapi a clear look of  'Enjoying yourself'?

“How’s life?” Jaejoong asked.

“Life was interesting, though I’m sure not as much as yours.” Yamapi explained, though Jaejoong can’t tell if he’s teasing.

“You’re not...“

“No, I don’t take it personally and I’m not upset. In fact, I’m really happy for you. I've learnt to accept that, and learnt from good experiences." Yamapi assured Jaejoong, admitting defeat, and Jaejoong sigh with relief.

Jaejoong was silent a moment as he considered Yamapi's words. “Good.” Jaejoong said, taking a sip of his coffee.

Yamapi tried to smile, but it came out false. "You have your own family, I have mine. Let us start anew, and let a new friendship bond us," he said. The pained expression he was sure he carried was erased when a look of delight crossed Jaejoong's face.

“So? Care to explain, why you need to see me today?” Yamapi suggest, hoping the mood of friendliness doesn’t change.

Jaejoong didn’t answer back, he sighed, and then the silence went on.

“Are you okay, Jae?” Yamapi asked, and God, he just hate how concerned he is now.

"No. I'm not okay.” Jaejoong admited. He just too exhausted to lie. Jaejoong saw Yamapi's eyes darken with concern, bright orbs turning to a stormy mess. Jaejoong tried to ignore the way Yamapi was looking at him, like finding out what’s wrong is the most important thing on earth. Like he's the most important thing on earth to him.

Jaejoong looked at Yamapi. "My sons...."

Yamapi could see the hurt flash in Jaejoong's eyes briefly. “What’s wrong with the kids?” He asked quietly and propped himself up onto his elbows looking at Jaejoong.

Jaejoong's breath escaped in a shuddery sigh. He looked over at Yamapi with doubt. His lower lip being thoroughly chewed between his teeth. He cleared his throat and linked his fingers, putting them on the table in front of him. He could feel Yamapi's fixated on his face as Jaejoong fidgeting with his fingers. Yamapi looked into Jaejoong's eyes earnestly, encouraging him to say what he was thinking. He rubbed Jaejoong's hand reassuringly and stayed silent, waiting for Jaejoong to speak.

"They're not kids anymore, Yamapi." Jaejoong said as he pulled his hands away from Yamapi's. "Well......" He looked at Yamapi for a moment before he start and Yamapi listened, so carefully.

"That's what happened." Jaejoong sighed at the end.

“Awww…that’s a shame, Jae. I bet Karam and Changmin are really sad, aren’t they? So what do you have in mind?" Yamapi asked as he took a sip of his coffee.

A soft sigh escaped his lips. "I need your help in this. I just think that I better make sure I can keep them away from each other.  I need you to let Changmin to stay with you for a while until we settled this problem."

"Aren't you over reacting, Jae?" Yamapi rolled his eyes.

"You called that overreacting? You tell me, Yamapi, how am I supposed to react when I saw my two sons kissing each other like... like they're eating each other's face! Brothers don't kiss like that, Yamapi."

Despite the fact Yamapi not really that surprised by Jaejoong’s plans after he told him the story, the news still hit him like a bombshell. Staring at Jaejoong, Yamapi notice Jaejoong was looking at him with a desperate look in his eyes. Yamapi wants to know whether this is final or not, but obviously isn’t sure whether he’s prepared for the answer.

Yamapi's face fell momentarily. "Is this a problem to you? That your sons love each other? And you need to send one of them away? Come on, Jae, I thought you were the most intelligent, most beautiful person I'd ever met. Apparently, you're not. And... I don't

Chapter 48: Just drop by to say that Yamapi is my favorite character and I am thankful to him for taking care of minnie. I love how both of them share the same pain so I am grateful that changmin has a shoulder to lean on who really understands him.

Chapter 28: LOL. anyway, I'm a real Yunjae fan so yeah, I don't really like them ending up with other people. And I also tend not to like people who get in the way of them being together - which is why I only read Yunjae fics where they end up together.

Chapter 28: I'm kinda annoyed at Yamapi for acting so highly just because he's "helping". As if Yunho owes him the world for taking Changmin in. Jaejoong really should not have asked for Yamapi's help. It's not like Yunho forced Jaejoong to choose him. Jaejoong chose Yunho because he loved Yunho. Yamapi really should just accept that. Besides what Yunho said is true anyway, Yamapi really did hide Jaejoong and Changmin from him, and he also tried to take them away, so Yunho's distrust of him is founded and appropriate. and yet Yamapi is acting mighty because what? Jaejoong asked him first before he asked Yunho; which I do not like by the way; the right thing to do was really to tell Yunho before anyone else - because its what married people should do. Eh, really hope Yamapi cut ties with them seriously- it's like he's waiting around for Yunho to mess up just so he could take Jaejoong again.

Chapter 49: Ugh, I kinda hate the ending, poor Changmin... And I feel Karam was too unclear about his feelings. Sometimes I felt he loved Changmin, but then he suddenly doesn't feel a thing anymore for him.
As for Seungho, well I'm not a great fan of him. During the whole story I didn't really feel that Karam loved him. He did keep saying he did, but I felt he really cared about Seungho more in a brotherly way than romantic. And to be truthful, I didn't really understand Seugho's love for Karam. He hasn't talked once to him and he's already in love ! Honestly, even if I didn't really like him he deserved a lot better that Karam.
To be honest I really felt bad and sorry for Karam in the beginning, I was kind of expecting him to be the sad one at the end, but in the end he broke Changmin and Seungho's hearts a dozen times.
And about his engagement, he was miserable the whole time, or at least not super into it. He's finally free, he's about to go and see Changing then, he suddenly changes his mind !! The ending is very incoherent. I feel as if the author rushed into it to quickly, or they suddenly changed their minds about the ending. Seriously ! I wouldn't even have minded that much about Karen and Seungho if it had been logical, but this, it was totally unexpected and not in a good way, it's irrealistic wich is a shame because I loved the prequel..
I know this is kind of harsh but I'm really sad I disappointed, I was so ready to read about Changmin and Karangasem, happy together... In overall, this is a well-written fic that I'm sure hundred of people love it but it's really not for me. I kinda which I had not wasted my time reading this and instead skipped to the last chapter like I almost did around chapter 20...

Chapter 48: I love the ending. Seungho deserves this happiness. Karam is the one with less heartache in my opinion because he already had somebody to lean on, either Seungho or Changmin. But, I really feel sorry for Changmin. He is the one hurting the most. Even though, this was just a fic, I could still feel the emotions the characters were going through. I love the way you narrated the story. Great job author <3

Chapter 45: They could have just tried a relationship if Karam loves both of them. That would've been awesome, right?
