Chapter 13
A Love, EverlastingAfter changing into our pajamas, Taeyeon and I laid on the couch together. Taeyeon settled onto the couch, her back facing me,
and scooted backwards until she could feel me behind her. Silently, she took my arm and moved it to be around her waist. Gently, I
kissed the back of her neck, her hair tickling my nose and making me chuckle. “What’s funny?” Taeyeon asked. “Nothing, love. It’s just
that your hair was tickling me.” I responded. Taeyeon giggled and moved her head side to side, tickling my face further. “Stop!” I
laughed and flipped her around to face me. Taeyeon looked deep into my eyes, her dark brown eyes reflecting slightly in the dull light,
as she wrapped her arms around my neck. “What are you going to do to make me?” Taeyeon asked. Silently, I pushed my face closer
to hers before closing my eyes and feeling our lips connect, our mouths moving together in unison, time seeming to slow to a stop.
“What about that?” I whispered, “Does that work?” Taeyeon nodded, and cupped my cheek with her hand. Gently, she pushed her lips
to mine once more before breaking away. “I’m getting tired,” Taeyeon said as she got up, “Let’s go to the bedroom.” Taeyeon helped
me up before leading me to the room. “Lay down, so I can lay on you.” Taeyeon commanded, her voice tired. “Alright, sweetheart.” I
responded before laying on the bed. Taeyeon climbed onto the bed and laid on top of me, her head resting on my chest. Only
moments later, I could feel her deep, even breathing which meant she was asleep.
“I want to marry her.” I thought to myself during the night. “I don’t think I can exist without her.” I kissed the top of Taeyeon’s head.
Silently to myself I began to formulate a way to propose. “She has to leave soon. Another tour. A perfect chance to set everything up.”
A small doubt crept up in the back of my mind. “What if she says no? What if she thinks we haven’t been together for long enough? A
year and a half isn’t really all that long if you think about it.” I pushed the thought out of my head. “We belong together. She has to feel
the same way.” I drifted off to sleep, Taeyeon’s heartbeat matching up with mine.
A few days later, Taeyeon had to leave. Together, we got up early to leave for the airport. “How long are you going to be gone
for?” I asked her. Taeyeon responded, her voice dripping with sleep. “A few months. I will miss you so much though. Can’t you go with
us on this tour?” I frowned slightly before answering “I wish I could, babe. But I have work to do, and a few things I need to do as well.”
Taeyeon pouted slightly in the passenger seat. “Just come with me.” Taeyeon commanded. “I’m sorry. This is really important! I
promise I will be waiting for you. I will have a present for you as soon as you come back.” I smiled as we arrived at the airport. “I love
you.” I said to Taeyeon as our lips met. “And I love you. Forever.” Taeyeon said back. “Forever.” I agreed.
