Chapter 12
A Love, Everlasting
I went into the room to get dressed, pulling on a black t-shirt and blue jeans before moving outside. “Your turn.” I said to Taeyeon.
“I’ll be right back then.” She replied, a slight smile piking the corners of . A few moments later, she walked out in a white
dress and a small, blue cardigan. Butterflies soared in my stomach as I grabbed her around the waist. “You look wonderful, love.”
Taeyeon wrapped her arms lightly around my shoulders and looked up at me, her eyebrows slightly raised. “You think so?” she
questioned. “I do.” I affirmed, bending down slightly before kissing her lips, warmth spreading through my body. Taeyeon wrapped her
arms around me firmly and gave a gently squeeze. “I love you,” She muttered, “so much.” “And I love you, Taeyeon. With all my heart.”
I replied.
After a few hours, the movie ended and we began our walk out of the theater. “I liked that movie! It was very cute.” Taeyeon said
excitedly. “I am glad you liked it.” I responded, giving Taeyeon a wide smile. Taeyeon mirrored my smile before grimacing, her stomach
growling. “Sounds like you are a bit hungry.” I said, chuckling slightly. “Yeah, I suppose I am.” Taeyeon said, half embarrassed.
“Perhaps we should calm the beast then!” I said, playfully patting her stomach. Taeyeon began laughing and hit me lightly on the arm.
“Be nice!” She yelled through her laughter. “You are the one hitting me! You be nice.” I replied, tickling her sides playfully. Taeyeon
began laughing harder. “Stop! Stop it.” She screamed through her fits of laughter. “Only if you tell me what you want to eat.” I
responded, pausing. “Hmmm,” she thought for a moment before answering, “let’s get hamburgers.” “Excellent choice.” I smiled, and
resumed tickling her.
Our food reached the table a few minutes after ordering. The waiter set down Taeyeon’s hamburger in front of her before setting
my guacamole burger in front of me. “Thank you.” We both said, before smiling at each other. Silently, we tucked into our meal,
devouring our burgers in mere moments. Taeyeon set back and set her hand on her stomach. “That was really good. I’m so full.” She
sighed. “Me too. I couldn’t eat another bite.” I agreed. Together, we sat at the table a few moments longer, waiting for the check. “What
would you like to do when we get back home?” Taeyeon asked. “I am not sure. It’s still fairly early, so I have a few things to do.” I
replied. “Like what?” Taeyeon asked, her eyebrows slightly raised. I replied after yawning, “I still have to wash my car.” Taeyeon
smiled. “That sounds like a lot of fun! I will help you.” Together, we walked back home, enjoying each other’s company.
