Sehun managed to grab hold of Baekhyun before he hit the ground. 

"Baekhyun! BAEKHYUN!" shouted Sehun while he shook the shorter one.

Sehun took the items Chanyeol left in the locker and chunk it into his bag as

he carries Baekhyun out into the open for fresh air.

After a while, Baekhyun finally open his eyes. 

"Finally.." Sehun muttered.

"Chanyeol..the hospital, they called for me to identity Chanyeol at the hospital."

Baekhyun cried out.

"Calm down, let's go to the hospital first." Sehun said as he grab Baekhyun's

hand firmly as Baekhyun's legs had gone all wobbly and was having a hard time

to balance himself to even stand.

They hailed a taxi and got in. While on the way to the hospital, Sehun took out the

tape recorder and plug in his earpiece and handed one side of it to Baekhyun.

The play button was pressed and clicking sound could be heard.

Then a sigh was let out before a voice was heard. Chanyeol's voice.

"This is Chanyeol. When you hear this, I'm already gone for good.

(a moment of silence for almost a minute before he continues)

I am really grateful for getting to know you guys. I have never thought i would

get to feel loved and be happy ever since the moment sickness hit me. I am also

sorry that I couldn't be someone that can go through thick and thin with you guys

in this lifetime.

I feel…selfish.

I had received love from you guys and i couldn't do much in return. I feel..useless.

I'm sorry. I am a jerk, I know. From the very beginning, all I ever did was to run away cowardly

and let this sickness overwhelm me. I….don't have the courage to face it and fight against it,

because i know it would be of no use and only a waste of my hopes and energy.

Now, i have one last thing i hope you guys can promise me. Remember my goodness,

the happy times we spent together without remembering the sickness i have. I don't want

you guys to remember me as a sick person, waiting for death.

(pauses for a few seconds again before speaking)

I think i am asking for too much of you guys..I'm sorry

Just forget me, yes pretend that i have never been in your life before.

That there was never a person named Chanyeol before."

The tape recorder ended.

Baekhyun was crying profusely the moment Chanyeol spoke from the start.

He couldn't stop crying and his heart ached so much as though someone

was ripping his heart apart bit by bit.

Sehun was no better. He was crying too while he hold onto the tape recorder tightly,

he wanted to scream out loud as he open his mouth but nothing came out.

"Stop the car" Sehun demanded.

The driver look at him through the rear-view mirror in surprise.

"I SAID STOP THE CAR NOW" Sehun shouted at the driver loudly.

The car came to a halt and Sehun came out of the taxi. Baekhyun followed too. 

"Sehun ah..." Baekhyun cried out while he is still crying.

Sehun zipped open his bag and took out Chanyeol's Nike shoes, his beats and he

turn to Baekhyun and asked for the necklace. 

"No..Sehun, what are you doing? Why do you want the necklace for, and why are you

taking out Chanyeol's stuff?" Baekhyun asked as he trembles at Sehun's sudden actions.

"Fine, you can keep the necklace for all you want, I'm throwing all these." Sehun snapped

as he grab the Nikes and Beats and lift his hand up in the air, ready to fling the items off. 

"NO! What are you doing! Stop!" 

Baekhyun shouted out as he quickly stopped Sehun from what he was doing.

"He want us to forget him right, then by keeping these things, we won't be able to

forget him!" Sehun shouted back.

"Sehun, no stop being like this, please don't throw these away, please… i beg of you."

Baekhyun cried out.

The two knelt down on the floor and cried.

As Sehun and Baekhyun step foot into the hospital, the tension grew.

Both of them knew that he is gone. They approached the reception counter and

said they recieved a call from the hospital to make an identification of Chanyeol.

A nurse came and led them the way. They entered a room as they saw a body covered

over with white sheet. Sehun and Baekhyun slowly walked towards the body as the nurse

lift up the sheet and unveil the face. 

Baekhyun gasp and gave out a cry. His legs were wobbly and he couldn't stand upright.

"NO!" Baekhyun groaned as he knelt down beside the cold and motionless body.

It was indeed Chanyeol's body lying there.  

Sehun covered his mouth as tears roll down his cheeks while he takes a few steps back.

Sehun closes his eyes and shook his head. He can't accept this. Park Chanyeol can't be really gone.

No this can't be happening. This is just a dream, wake up Sehun wake up, he told himself as he starts

to hit his head with his fists continously.

"Stop Sehun! STOP! You're hurting yourself and Chanyeol wouldn't want to see you hurting yourself."

Baekhyun cried out as he grab Sehun's wrists to stop him from hitting himself. 

The two continued crying as they hugged each other. They can't lie to themselves anymore.

The truth is right in front of them.
