I couldn’t help but break into a sob as I walked out of the office building. Perhaps I was being too emotional, but I didn’t care about the looks people were giving me as I made my way to the academy. Why was Donghae so mad at me ? It’s not like I wasn’t working hard enough, I’ve even starting practice right after work despite the fact I’ve been under the weather.

…Okay but he looked tired too. Besides, he had a filming schedule earlier in the morning which was also why I had to practice with Eunhyuk first. To be frank, he looked like he has yet to slept for days, the eyebags under his eyes becoming more prominent. And he still, had to guest for KTR tonight. I sighed, I couldn’t help but have a soft spot for him. I didn’t remain annoyed at him for long, and I laughed at my own defeat.

DONGHAE’S POV

..Did he say she liked me ? Did he really say that ? Ohwait, how did he know anyway ?

“Donghae ah, you like her too, don’t you ?” Eunhyuk calmed down and got me to sit beside him. “The look in your eyes whenever she’s with another male tells me so !”

Geez, he was even in the mood for teasing at this point of time. I shrugged and look down before  telling him, "Ya, don't tell manager hyung okay ?"

"Araso !" he grinned, showing his gums. He was really the only member other than Leeteuk whom I can trust when it came to things like that. "I'll be on my way. You should go take a break too, and maybe check on ____ if you can." 

Then I was left alone in the practice room. The choreographers had proceeded to monitor the other members since ____ had already left. I couldn't help but feel bad. I was too harsh, rubbing in on sensitive topics. I very knew she didn't have the support of her parents and the only care and love she received was from the members and I whom she quickly grew close with. Yet, I didn't let her know that she had my support and I was behind her all the way.

----- The next day, -----

There weren't any schedules today so it probably either meant time to practice and rehearse or simply take a break. I haven't heard from ____ yet, since she's probably still at work. Well, it's not like I can drop by the cafe either, 'cos I'd probably get it from manager hyung. Sigh, I really wanted to apologise and make it up to her. We have yet to exchange numbers too, so I guess I would just have to wait for her to come for practice.

YOUR POV

Aish, shift ended late today 'cos there were more customers for I don't know what reason. It was already time to get going for practice though I've yet to have my lunch. Guess I'll just have to grab a club sandwich and be on my way.

I rushed to the practice room. Oh damn I'm late, I'm late. Donghae will get mad again if has to wait for me. I mentally cursed myself. I quickly made my way to the studio, and by the time I reached, the other members have already started practicing. Eunhyuk was by now practicing with the female choreographer while Donghae seemed to be clarifying doubts with the other choreographer. Despite how hungry I am, having yet to touch my club sandwich which was still in my backpack, I just dumped my bag in a corner and approached them.

"Anneonghasayo ! I'm sorry I'm late, I'm really sorry !" I apologised profusely. I could feel Donghae's eyes on me but I tried my best to ignore it. 

"It's okay, we understand you had to work," Eunhyuk reassured you. "By the way you'll be practicing with Donghae first, since you guys couldn't finish up yesterday.."

"Ne." I replied, hiding my nervousness. I plucked up my courage to turn to face Donghae, "Donghae oppa, I'm sorry but I have to get changed first. I'll make it fast !"

To my relief, he simply smiled slightly and nodded.

When I returned, Donghae was sitting by the corner in deep thought. It's okay ____, it's Donghae. The ever so sweet and forgiving fishy. Everything's gonna be fine. I mentally told yourself. 

"Donghae oppa, we can begin now," I smiled.

"A-ah.. ____-ah, um.." he said hesitantly and approached you. It made you panic a little, thinking about what he had wanted to say. "I..I'm sorry about what happened yesterday."

I smiled, in relief. It made me feel better knowing that he was no longer mad at me. "It's okay. Well in fact I have to apologise too, I'm sorry for..taking not practice seriously yesterday.."

He looked into your eyes and smiled that sweet smile of his. It made your heart melt, but you tried your best not to show. 

"So..we're okay again ?" He held his arms wide open, offering a hug.

"Ne !" I hesitantly hugged him, blushing when he responded with a tighter embrace and patted me on the back.

It wasn't long before he pulled away. "Then let's get started with practice !" he chirped.

DONGHAE'S POV

You had no idea how much courage I had to gather before offering a hug without showing how nervous I felt inside. But hugging her felt good. It made me feel like I was capable of protecting her, which was exactly what I wanted to do. However, it's not like I can just confess to her. If manager hyung finds out about it he'd probably find a replacement for ____. Of course I wasn't going to take the risk. I took reassurance in the fact that ____ liked me too (and smiled to myself unknowingly at the moment), and that we could wait till the tour was over. Though it would mean a really long time.

Eunhyuk had seen what was going on he grinned, giving me the thumbs up sign, careful not to let ____ see. That dork. The choreographers then approached ____ and I as he continued from where we left off yesterday. 

It was not long before we reached the ending of my part. It was then when I had to embrace her from behind, with my hands running down her arms as my face leaned closer next to hers. I could feel her hands shivering slightly, probably from the nervousness, as she lifted one of them to touch my cheek as instructed. I had to admit it was slightly embarrassing for the both of us, but we managed to get through that quicker than expected before we finished. Probably because she was afraid that I would snap again. Ah well.

Months passed like that as the trainees preoccupied themselves with rehearsals for the different stages they would have to appear on while the Super Junior members continued with their activities, They had photoshoots, CFs, endorsements, filming, radio and all sorts of other schedules to attend so they mostly practiced with the trainees later at night. 

The anticipation in the member's hearts grew each day because of the knowledge their third concert was approaching, only bigger and more extravagant compared to their previous'. But at the same time, the feelings in ____ and Donghae's heart that they had for each other had too grown much more, increasing their longing for each other.

It was just a matter of time now.
