The two shared a moment confirming their love for each other and it wasn't long before they pulled away, surrounded by an awkward silence. 

Donghae broke the silence first, clearing his throat, embarrassed. "So are you feeling better now ? D'you need anything ?"

"It's okay oppa," ___ replied, slowly shifting her eyes to look at his. "Oppa, can you check if I can be discharged by tonight ?"

"Tonight ? Even if you were allowed to I wouldn't let you 'cos you haven't got enough rest yet," he replied with a disapproving tone.

"..but I'm fine, and-" ___ tried to convince him but got interrupted instead.

"Tomorrow, alright ? Tomorrow morning." Donghae said, sounding firm.

"Ne..." she nodded. She had no choice anyway. "Don't you have schedule tmr ? You should be on your way home, it's late. Catch some sleep.."

"It's okay, my schedule's in the late afternoon tmr so I'll stay with you in the hospital tonight. How about that ?"

A smile was immediately plastered on ___'s face. She agreed of course, and the two cuddled in bed, spending the night of her birthday together.

The next day, after being discharged from the hospital, Donghae had made sure that ___ had returned back to her dorm safely before making his way back to his own for a shower and prepare for his schedule. The members had decided to celebrate ___'s birthday by the poolside at the academy as they felt regretful that things didn't turn out the way it was supposed to be the previous time. 

YOUR POV

Upon reaching home I had tidied up my dorm, just in case there was a need for the members to come up later on during the party. They had decided to book the barbecue pitt by the poolside and thus, I had to make the bookings and do some preparation. Leeteuk said he would be settling the part about food, so I tried as much as possible to help. I felt bad anyway for having to trouble them to celebrate my birthday again, but part of me appreciated their presence and the love they've given me all this while.

After checking that everything had been settled. I checked the time. It wasn't late, and there was about an hour left before our meeting time. I had gotten everything ready, and thus decided to make my way to the office. Not to forget, the management was still waiting for an answer from me..

I made my way to the office, and knocked on the door of Mr Lee's office before entering when I was allowed to. I bowed and greeted him, as usual.

"Ah, Ga Eun ! What brings you here today ? I thought you guys were going to have a party ?" He asked. Oh ya, how could I have forgotten. The members would need permission for everything little thing they did. There was no need to surprised he was informed about our every action.

"Yeah but the party's a bit later so I wanted to come here to talk to you for a bit," I replied.

"Oh okay sure, take a seat. By the way, is your body feeling better ? I heard you were discharged this morning," he asked.

"Yes, much better. Thank you for your concern," I said.

"So what is it you wanted to tell me ?" He asked.

"Regarding the situation I'm stuck in currently.. We talked about it the other time on whether I would like to continue dancing here," I reminded him.

"Ah yes, yes. So what's your decision ?" He asked.

"..I've decided to stay but I would like to make a request.." I told him.

"Okay, ..what is it ?" He looked at me, curious.

"I'd like to go back on stage for Super Show 3, at least for the concert in Singapore. I really want to perform there and give a pair of tickets to my parents. It doesn't have to be the first night, or both nights. I'm even fine with the second night if that makes a difference..." I pressed.

He looked straight at me in deep thought. "About that..." he thought.

"Please, just once. Or one solo stage ! Even that's fine.. I'll even pay for my parents' concert tickets on my own !" I persuaded him.

"..I'll tell you what. Let me talk to their managers about it too, and let you know. Alright Ga Eun ?" He said.

"Ne"

DONGHAE'S POV

My ears were against the door of Mr Lee's office. We had just returned from schedule and Heechul hyung had something to pick up at the office. I had saw ___ walking into his office and thus, it made me curious. As soon as their conversation came to an end, I quickly made my way to hide behind a nearby staircase. I didn't want ___ to know I had been eavesdropping. Besides, since she didn't tell me about her visit to the office, she probably doesn't want me to know. But I couldn't help it.

She walked out of his office, her face hinting some disappointment. She wasn't exactly crying or anything, but her eyes were red and an expression of worry drawn on her face. Her back view slowly becoming smaller and smaller, till she made a turn at the end of the corridor.

It wasn't long before the time for the barbecue had come and ___ was already setting up the place on her own. We had decided to head back for a shower and a change of clothes before making our way here. 

"Anneonghasayo !" She chirped, showing a totally different side of the same person I saw a while ago. 

"Annyeong Ga Eun ! Happy Birthday !!" the members said in unison and rushed to her for a group hug. 

"YA ! Stop suffocating my girlfriend !" I shouted jokingly. 

"Ye, ye. The both of you go somewhere else while we start setting up.." Kyuhyun remarked. 

I stared at him for a while, my eyes shooting lasers at him. That maknae really didn't behave like one at all. 

"Annyeong oppa !" She said, her angelic voice crystal clear. 

"Annyeong," I smiled, planting a kiss on her cheek. "So how was your day ?"

"Pretty good, I managed to clean up the dorm and stuff," she said, smiling. Guess I shouldn't mention her trip the office..

Eunhyuk, Heechul hyung and I had decided to start the fire while the rest decided to set the utensils and prepare the food. 

Delicate hands soon lifted my fringe from my forehead and started to wipe away the sweat that was forming from my forehead with a handkerchief. 

"How's it going ?" It was her, of course. 

"Um, I guess we can start in a short while," I replied. "You hungry ?"

"A little, but I'm fine for now," she smiled to reassure me.

I dotted a quick kiss on her lips before continuing to watch the fire. Meanwhile, ___ had decided to just keep me company, the both of us ignoring the looks the others were giving us. It irritated me sometimes, like they hadn't seen a dating couple before. Sheesh. 

Dinner went on fine and it was soon time for her to cut the cake Ryeowook had especially baked for her. Though I did the icing but..it didn't look good anyway so nevermind. They lighted the candles and sang the birthday song, making her face glow with happiness.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! NOW MAKE A WISH !" 

She closed her eyes with her hands together. "I wish for all of us to be able to stay healthy and for Super Junior to achieve much more than what they already have," she said. And as soon as she was done, that's when Leeteuk took off the candles and caked her face. 

"LEETEUK OPPAAAAA !" she shrieked. 

By now, the situation was chaotic as the members started laughing. "Sorry ___, but that's the birthday tradition !" Leeteuk said before laughing is high-pitched laughter once again. 

I couldn't help but giggle. Though she was pouting, she looked so cute ! As expected, she excused herself and made her way to the dorm to clean up, while the members helped clean up the rest of the stuff and headed up to her dorm too. 

The members then gathered at the living room, not forgetting to bring out the alchohol. Kyuhyun had started pouring them into the glasses. "I bet she's gna get drunk real fast," he smirked. 

They had just started to chatter amongst themselves when I went to her bathroom to check on her. She was dabbing her face with her towel, her hair neatly pulled back with a hairband. She had really good complexion in fact, and I loved the natural beauty she had. However, she had no choice but to use make up for performances, which I think isn't really effective. She still looked gorgeous of course, but what could be better than natural beauty, right ?

I hugged her from behind. "You okay ?" I chuckled.

She smiled, "I'm fine. It was pretty fun anyway !"

"The members are waiting for you to drink alchohol, just to let you know !" I said.

"Oh," she grimaced. "I think I'll get drunk easily.."

I laughed. "Ohwell, a tradition is a tradition. In the Suju family, at least." 

There was just comfortable silence between the both of us as I continued to rest my head on her shoulders, embracing her from behind while she applied lotion on her face. 

"So...what made you decide to stay ?" I asked.

She stopped and turned around to look at me. "...so you heard ?"

"Mhmm. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it.." I let out a sheepish smile. 

"It's okay," she smiled. "I guess I just didn't want to put my efforts to waste, that's all.. And since you guys were so good to me I figured I should continue dancing, not that you guys need back up dancers often but still. If it means being able to 'bump' into my boyfriend in the office frequently too, why not ? Hehhehe."

I laughed a little, "You really don't mind continuing like that ?"

She shook her head. "Nah. Even if it means sharing the spotlight with someone else, at least I'm on stage, right ? Besides, being under your spotlight is where I like it most." She said and hugged me.

"I'll get your parents tickets to see you dance, hun." I told her, my hands patting her back.

The two then made their way out to the living room, where the members had already started drinking.

"That's your glass, ___ !" Eunhyuk exclaimed.

She bit her lip and lifted her glass, examining the foreign looking liquid before carefully taking a sip. As expected, she face scrunched up and she immediately reached for the glass of water nearby. The members couldn't help but laugh. They all found her cute and beautiful in many ways. They had seen her different charms as time passed. She was finally growing up, from the timid dancer who would get panic attacks on stage to a confident one, overflowing with charisma. Now that they were watching her reaction, it seemed as though time was turned back to the time when she was slightly younger, immature and more innocent.

Bit by bit, ___ finished the glass of wine and was starting to get a bit tipsy, her head resting on Donghae's shoulder, hugging his arm with her eyes closed. 

"Why don't you take her to the room ? We'll clean this area up. It's getting late and we should get going too," Leeteuk suggested, seeing how ___ couldn't continue drinking any longer.

"Araso," Donghae replied, carrying her to her bedroom and tucking her in bed. He grabbed a towel and rinsed it in warm water, putting it over her forehead. Then, he stuck a post-it on the headboard of her bed.

"Goodnight babe ! Call me when you awake tomorrow ! & I'm sorry I can't stay here to look after you 'cos there's schedule again tomorrow morning. Keep in touch ! The members wish you Happy Birthday once again and left the presents in the living room. Mine's there too, take a look (: Hope you enjoyed your birthday ! Tkcare ! Love, fishy."

He kissed her on her cheek, "Happy Birthday, sweetheart." 

Then, he closed the door behind him gently.
